“Cameron is great! Stevie connected with her right away, and I knew my cat would be in good hands. Cameron was punctual, thorough, a great communicator and flexible when we needed to make a little change to the plan halfway through my trip. Highly recommend!”

About: As a former cat owner (2 beautiful fur babies ginger and butters) , I truly understand the unique personalities, routines, and needs that cats have whether it's a shy senior or a playful kitten. I treat every cat like I would my own, with attentiveness, affection, and respect for their space and quirks. We live in a beautiful cozy apartment with ocean views and is cat friendly . I’m here to give them companionship and care while you're away. What sets me apart from other sitters is the hands-on experience my partner and I have caring for his parents' two dogs, Andi and Peaches. We frequently look after them, taking them on daily walks, playing interactive games, and keeping them mentally and physically engaged. We've even taught them some fun tricks over time! This has helped us develop a strong understanding of dog behavior, communication, and individual needs—especially when it comes to keeping pups happy and active. While I don’t offer doggy daycare, I absolutely love taking your fur babies on walks and making sure they get the attention, care, and enrichment they deserve. Pet care fits smoothly into my lifestyle. I work in-person in San Francisco three days a week: Tuesday through Thursday. My partner Gino works from home on those days, so we always have someone at home to watch the pet. On Mondays, Fridays, I work from home myself and can give your pet my full attention. We also are home in the weekends. With our mixed work schedules, your cat will never be left alone for long. we're a team of animal lovers who make sure pets always feel safe, loved, and cared for. In my home, your cat will feel relaxed, safe, and entertained. We have plenty of space for them to explore or find cozy spots to lounge in. We also use a robotic litter box that stays clean and odor-free—perfect for picky kitties! We have a cozy cat bed and a automatic feeder, you can bring your own food if your cat is a picky eater. Our apartment has windows on both sides, offering different types of “cat TV.” One side faces Mission Street with passing cars and ocean views, while the other side gets beautiful morning sun and looks out onto a lively street where birds flutter by and people walk past. Whether your cat loves to sunbathe, birdwatch, or simply nap undisturbed, they’ll have a peaceful, enriching stay. In a client’s home, I always respect the routine and space your pet is used to, ensuring they feel comfortable and cared for in their own environment.

“Allison was fantastic with our cat Harriet! We wanted Harriet to be kept company while we went on a trip, and she warmed up to Allison right away. Allison was punctual each visit, and kept us up to date with everything. Highly recommended!”

“Eddie took great care of Pepito while I was away for the holidays. Everything was well taken care of, and I came home to a happy cat. I would definitely work with Eddie again for future care needs!”

About: I’m pretty much the average dog sitter / walker but I have a calm, cool as a cucumber husky that loves to play and would love a friend to join us on our walks all over SF. We go at our own pace and spend lots of time sniffing, chilling or having the zoomies before moving along. Most of the places we visit are off leash parks such as Fort Funston or McLaren park on the weekdays and the Great Highway and GGP on the weekends. On special warm days we head out to the parks in the South Bay such as Montara beach or the trails in half moon bay. I work full time self employed as a musician but I have an active husky that I take care of daily. We are out and about everyday for a minimum of 3 hours and more on the weekends. Majority of my pet care hours are between 9am-3pm on the weekdays and all day (mostly all afternoon) on the weekends. I prefer to care for a client’s pet at their home since it brings comfort to the dog whilst their parents are away. I would prefer to bring my dog as well so that we can all be together and spend our time having as much fun as possible. The whole point would be to tire them out so they don’t notice that their parents are gone for the time being. If being at their home is not possible and I would have to bring them to my home, then I would bring their dog bed and their dog bowl with them. They need their items of comfort and their food so they don’t have diarrhea etc.

“Glad we found Nessa to check in on our cat while we were away. She’s very organized, responsible and attentive to our cat’s needs. She made sure our cat was taken care of and sent us notes and photos every day.”

About: I sleep with my own dog, so getting her hair all over my bed and pillows, show how much I love my dog, and pets in general. I work part time and go to school but I am available during different times on different days. I’ll always have the chance to take care of the pet when the time comes to do my job. I walk my dog at least twice a day and feed her twice a day. We go to the park and run around. At my clients home I will treat their home and pet(s) with the utmost care and respect. I come from a family of respect and trust so that will never be an issue.

About: As a lifetime pet owner, I have plenty of experience taking care of dogs and cats. Right now, I'm a proud mom to a senior bichon pup with GERD and chronic back problems that I've been able to manage so well that you wouldn't even know he's 13. If your pup requires special feeding practices, daily massages, and lots of patience - I'm the person to call! I am a freelance artist working from home so my schedule is quite flexible. I walk my dog three times a day and can take your pup along each time. Doggies have plenty of soft surfaces to lounge about in throughout the house. They can be fed at any time that's needed since I'm around most of the day. Your pup has to be okay with small dogs, I would require a quick meet and greet with my little fella to make sure we are a good fit! Every pup is treated with lots of love and a copious amount of scritches (if they're into that kind of thing).

“Ronnie is a great cat sitter! She is friendly and attentive and quickly struck up a great rapport with our cat. Our boy was so well cared for and happy the entire week we were away. And she very kindly fed our three ghost shrimp! I would recommend Ronnie without hesitation to anyone looking for a cat or dog sitter, and we will definitely book with Ronnie again. Thanks again for taking such good care of Popeye!”

About: I have always loved animals above everything else and was lucky enough to experience having pets from age 6. I started out by taking care of rabbits, guinea pigs, birds, cats, dogs, etc. I've read many books, researched, and learned from the most experienced about how to train and care for different types of animals, especially dogs and cats. I have around 11 years of experience with cats and dogs, from the moment they were born to their senior years. Currently, I have two dogs, A 6-year-old husky named Leo (the one in my profile picture) and a 9-year-old labrador mix named Eva. I have trained and cared for both of them fully myself. I have also done volunteer work in shelters and have taken care of many other pets for my friends and family. I currently have a flexible part-time job that gives me a lot of free time to spend doing what I love most, being with animals! First, I always ask my clients if they have specific instructions or routines that they would like me to follow, whether it's in my house or theirs. I make sure that I know and do exactly as the clients ask to make sure the experience is easy and comfortable, for both the client and their lovely pet. I have two dogs of my own to welcome and accompany their pet in my house, I am also able to have them in separate spaces if the client prefers. I have many toys and treats in my house to keep them occupied and happy, and most importantly my unwavering love and attention! I also have a fenced yard in which they can run and play freely and there is also a couch specially arranged for them to rest and enjoy.

About: Rule #1: Don’t say the W-A-L-K word out loud unless you plan to fully commit. Rule #2: When you can’t, go ahead and give me a call. Weekends are great and evenings as well. Currently working 9-5, and I am able to travel to you when needed for pup duties. Looking forward to meeting you :) Will hang out with your pup at the park, on a walk, the beach, or from my remote office which is anywhere! Open to house sitting as well.

About: Your pet's well-being is my top priority and I'm here to provide peace of mind while you're away. A little bit about myself: I live in an apartment complex in Parkmerced with ample space in the back for outdoor play! On July 2024, my dog Pebbles crossed the rainbow at the age of 15 - I miss her dearly. I am currently available for boarding whether it's short/long term. During your pets stay, I will ensure they receive the love and attention they need. I make sure your fur babies get exactly what they need to feel happy, safe, and loved. As soon as they are in my care, I treat them as they are my own!

“Ellie was great w/ Capone! She was really sweet and patient w/ him. She’s was very attentive and followed all the instructions. She helped me out last min in a tough position and was so accommodating. I would definitely recommend and use again!”

Lakeshore pet parents share their Rover experiences
Elise was so wonderful with our boys, allowing us to fully relax into our vacation. She sent updates and the sweetest photos daily. Most importantly the cats loved her company as she would give them focused attention, play time, pets and treats. Thank you Elise!

Cecilia was wonderful with our dogs and really great at communicating and updating us with photos of the dogs during her visits. She went above and beyond in making sure the dogs got some energy out during their time with her, and we came home to happy dogs every evening. It was a huge relief to know our dogs were being well-taken care of throughout the weekend. I would definitely book with her again when in the area.

Karen was willing to come take care of our dog during our stay from out of town in an Airbnb. Our old dog can be a little shy but he must have felt comfortable enough to go for a walk with her. He seemed calm and co tent when we returned home from a night out.
