About: I have been a part time dog sitter, cat sitter, house sitter, etc since I was 10 years old. I've also been a volunteer at my local animal shelter since I was 15. I've taken care of old dogs, young dogs, energetic dogs, couch potato dogs, friendly dogs, shy dogs, big dogs, small dogs, you name it. I've been doing this a long time and I've gotten really good understanding each pet and their individual needs. Every dog is different, and I love them all. I also have experience with dogs who need medications and ear drops, and I am Red Cross certified in Pet First Aid! I provide pet care full time, helping owners have peace of mind when they have to leave their buddies behind for a trip, or to go to work, it makes me happy knowing I can help out people and animals who could use an extra set of hands. Firstly, I want to say I understand meeting people online and inviting them into your home can be very anxiety inducing, and I want to reassure you that with me, your pet, your house, and your belongings are safe. When I personally am trusted to stay in someone's home, I usually stick around the same area of the house out of habit. I keep food where it belongs to prevent mishaps, and keep things off the floor to prevent injuries of their me or pets. When going for walks I like to stick to trails or sidewalked areas that have decent cell reception, just in case. I keep treats with me, extra bags, and have a phone holder for my wrist so I can have a hand free, especially for dogs who get excited from wildlife and could suddenly pull really hard anytime. I keep a pop up bowl and a bottle for water breaks. Before going for longer walks I touch test the path in case they are too hot. I also have experience putting jackets on dogs in the colder months.

I have a 3 year old Retriever now who requires not only physical exercise but mental exercise as well (think doggy puzzles, sniffing games, training sessions, etc.). My dog care services include house sitting, meal enrichment prep, basic training, puzzles/game time, baths, check-ins/outs, dog walking, and pretty much whatever else your dog needs! As a dog parent myself, I understand how much time and effort goes into making your pet's life special and the quality care that you want for them while you're away (or simply need a breather from every day life)! I work fully remote from home with a flexible schedule that allows me to live out my love of caring for dogs throughout the week! Potty breaks can be as frequent as every 0-2 hours as needed, and there will be multiple breaks throughout the day to play and run around. I have a very safe home for dogs, meaning, it’s puppy-proofed. There are not many things your dog can “get into” that they are not supposed to - raising a puppy in my home has taught me to anticipate things that could cause potential harm, fear, etc.! I have different sized crates and a large play pen that your dog is welcomed to use if you'd like. Some dogs love quiet time in the crate and some prefer to be out in the play pen or feel more comfortable free roaming -- whatever your dog requires, I'll try my best to accommodate! I have a fully fenced yard with lots of room to run and play. As always, I'm more than happy to provide FaceTimes, pictures, location tracking, whatever will make you feel the most confident that your pet is in great hands!

I’m currently a full time student. I’m free during afternoons and mornings. I just have to walk to class twice a day from noon to three. I am very attentive to what your pet needs.
