About: Hello, Pet Parents! I love dogs and have had the good fortune of co-existing with them for 30 years. I’ve cared for Shih tzus, a Golden, a Lab, and a Boxer. Dogs are everything that right with the world I have a flexible schedule ~ hybrid full time employment. My office is close by and I work remotely three days a week. Weekends and evenings are fully open, generally speaking. I will take my cues from your instructions and the dogs’ general routine. I like playing ball, I love brushing them, harnesses are preferred for walks, and I am comfortable using clickers, etc.
“Christina is excellent. We were nervous about hiring someone outside of our friend/family circle to care for our two dogs and two cats. And for an extended period of time: 16 days. And during Christmas and New Years - Christina was amazing. She is responsible and caring and reliable. We were able to meet a couple times before the scheduled date to go over things and that helped not only provide her with the information to care for them but it also helped me feel comfortable to know she was willing to meet and took the responsibility seriously. My animals were all well cared for. They were happy and content when we got back even though they missed us. About: I recently lost my puppy after 7 years, and I had experience watching and dog sitting in my neighborhood, taking my dog and other dogs on walks all the time, watching my friends and families dogs, and I want to have more time around dogs again with my dog khaleesi now being gone. I am not a dog trainer, but I’ve been around dogs my entire life. They have always been a key part in my life and I want to be able to continue making positive memories with all sorts of dogs for the rest of my life! I am currently a student at Oakland University for exercise science and pre Physical Therapy. I am also working part time for a sales company called cutco, but I have control of my schedule and can work virtual or in person. I have experience with a electric fence, and if not fenced walking with a leash is no problem for me, I’m very good with crating dogs if needed, but I will not crate them unless it is crate worthy, like if they got slight aggressive, but I do not like to crate if it’s not needed. I will take on walks at minimum once a day and will walk however long the dog seems to need to be walked to get out there zoomies energy. I can feed whenever they usually eat, and always have fresh water for them. I can bathe them as well, but I’m not a pro at it by any means. I also allow pets on couches or beds of any sort, but if they aren’t allowed to be then I can follow that rule with no problem.

Kaitlyn did an amazing job taking care of our cat and dog. She sent a lot of photos and updates each day to ease our minds. Kaitlyn took our dog on outings to get her puppy energy out. It was amazing. From a home standpoint, she kept everything clean and even took out the trash/kitty litter and put all of her laundry in the laundry room. I will hire her again.
