“Erin went above and beyond to make me and my dog comfortable during my trip. I was really happy to receive multiple updates a day throughout the trip. My dog was super anxious but Erin handled it like a true professional. I really appreciate her attention to detail and calm demeanor. Thank you!”

About: I’ve had dogs in my life for many years, and I’ve also helped care for my aunt’s dogs, who she groomed professionally. My patient and gentle nature allows me to connect with dogs of all personalities — from energetic pups to shy or nervous ones. I’m attentive to routines, whether it’s feeding schedules, walks, playtime, or basic training reinforcement. I follow instructions closely and am happy to help with commands, leash manners, or gentle encouragement for anxious dogs. Most importantly, I treat every dog as if they were my own — with kindness, respect, and plenty of love, so they feel safe and happy while you’re away. Pet care is an important part of my daily life, and I make sure every pet gets the attention, exercise, and love they need. I plan walks, visits, and playtime around your pet’s routine, and I’m attentive to feeding schedules, medication, and enrichment activities. I’m available most days after 3 PM, and all day on Wednesdays and Thursdays. I’m happy to work with your schedule and can adjust for regular visits or last-minute needs whenever possible, ensuring your pet feels safe, happy, and cared for while you’re away. I provide loving, attentive care in your pet’s own home, following your routines and instructions closely. I offer walks, playtime, enrichment, and medication if needed, making sure your pet feels safe, happy, and loved while you’re away.
About: I love working with all animals from dogs and cats to lizards and parakeets! I have a very flexible schedule for the most part and would work on your time. My past experience was boarding with a Labrador, so big dogs are great for me. I also have done a couple drop ins for a chihuahua and loved him. I am great with all sizes of dogs (and cats). I have a golden doodle of my own and he is 110 pounds so walking and taking care of bigger dogs is no problem! I am going into a veterinary career and would love to be more hands on with all different types of animals. The more the merrier! I would love to watch or walk multiple animals at once! I have an open schedule to care for your furry friends. I would love to take your dogs on an early morning or afternoon walk. I am available in the evenings as well for dinner time or after dinner walks! I love caring for dogs and making sure they feel right at home! I offer a friendly and safe environment where they can relax, play, and get lots of love and attention while you’re away
“Thank you so much Kristy for taking such a good care of my boys once again . I appreciate the communication and the troubleshooting you did when arrival. We appreciate Nikko and Kopper to be full of love when we are traveling :)”

“Corinne is a conscientious person who really loves animals. She showed up on time for every drop-in visit and treated our dog as her own. She left us detailed report cards with photos which put us at ease while away from home. Could not ask for more!”

“Claire was great with our cat! She was also incredibly flexible and was available last minute which was such a help! She was also very good at communicating how our cat was doing while we were away! Would highly recommend her!”

“Laura has been absolutely fantastic with our dogs! We’ve been using her over the last few months and she always provides detailed feedback and we feel very assured that she gives them lots of attention and love! We feel very fortunate to have her!”

“For our first time booking with Rover, it was also a last minute booking. Choosing Angela was a great decision. Throughout the entire process she responded to each of my questions timely. I appreciate she was quick to reply and I felt sure she knew what I was asking of her and she did it flawlessly.”

“Kirsti B. was wonderful with drop-ins for our dog Lacie. She came twice a day for four days. Lacie is older so I was glad to have someone who I immediately knew would be perfect for her. She sent pics every visit and details about her visit. Kirsti replied to any question or comment quickly and throughly. She also sent some pics of our bunny Tiki, too. Knowing Lacie and Tiki were taking care of helped us ease our mind and enjoy our staycation to Disney. Thank you again!!!”

“Our go to sitter for our cats! Nicole is wonderful with our kitties - Pistachio & Cashew! She not only stops in to feed them, but spends quality time playing with them as well. She is very kitty intuitive, thorough and definitely pawesome!”
“Lindsay was fantastic. She took great care of our dog while we were out of town. Very reliable - great communication with us and love all the picture updates. It made been away so much easier knowing he was been taken care of so well. Highly recommend her.”

“Rachael took awesome care of my fur babies while I was out of town. She sent picture updates and made me feel that my pets were well cared for and in good hands! She is very sweet and I would definitely have her check in on my animals again! Thank you :)”

About: I have taken care of dogs since my teens and i have taken care of all types of dogs and cats. Neighbors, family and friends have told me i am super reliable and always took great care of the animals. I have worked at a doggie day care for about a year and at a vet clinic for 3 years. I currently work as a receptionist at Oakland Animal Hospital. I am looking to make this my full time job but right now I am able to do any time of the weekends. I am available after 4pm for right now. I am able to stay at your house to pet sit and take them on walks and to parks. I have reliable transport to get to your home or to take your pet anywhere. I currently can not board pets in my own home yet but would be willing to in the future.
About: I've had pets my entire life. It has been quite some time since I have owned a dog. I had the best dog of my life and since she passed away I don't think I can endure that loss again. However, I still crave interactions with man's best friend. I very recently lost my 19 year old kitty which has been difficult but I still have a 12yr old rescued cat with bad behaviors lol. I am experienced with providing oral medications and injections. I owned a diabetic cat that unfortunately died from cancer. I also have fish and cardene shrimp. I have cared for reptiles, birds, rats, mice, and other small furry friends. I am an RN but need to spend more time with critters to make my life more balanced and enjoyable. Sure, overtime as an RN pays better, but time spent with animals brings me joy. I have experience training both cats and dogs. I am a remote worker and therefore have a great deal of flexibility. Let me know your needs. I will do my best to accommodate your pet's needs. I keep my cat in the bedroom due to bad behaviors and extreme anxiety making it easy to care for another animal in our home if needed. I do not have a fenced yard but I live in a beautiful subdivision for long walks. I prefer to watch pets in their home to reduce anxiety but if your pet is very social and you prefer they stay in our home, our home is very pet friendly. Our whole family has cats and dogs and they always come to visit and get spoiled. Animals are allowed on furniture and run of our large home.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
