She took him into her yard, on a leash, & to a nearby trail. No doubt he loved that. It was my fault that he had to be exposed to another dog for his last 3 days, as I initially got my return date wrong . But he dealt with that pretty well, it seems.”

About: I have taken care of a variety of animals my entire life. Growing up on several acres, we had multiple types of animals. They ranged from dogs to cats to chickens and more! It was always our jobs to help with the care of them. In my adulthood, I have always taken on side work helping with friends and families pets, as well as being hired through various websites. I absolutely love spending time with cats and dogs. I have one each of my own. I understand how truly important they are and always strive for the best care possible, as that is what I’d expect for my own when I need the help! I do work part time as a housekeeper. That is a pretty flexible job and I have a lot of availability in my schedule. About: I am experienced in taking care of dogs including those with high needs that require medications and puppies as young as 3 months. I have had wonderful experience with walking, boarding and overnight stays over weekends. I am very engaging when I care for dogs, always making sure they get plenty of play and exercise if they are physically able, and I enjoy incorporating some basic training as a part of that play. I am sensitive to different needs of each dog and I socially accommodate for each of their needs. I am a very patient and warm caretaker. I build my schedule around my responsibilities and planned pet care but I typically wake up around 7am and go to sleep around midnight. I am used to frequent outings for dogs because I raised mine from when he was very young and he needed to go out about every hour. I have learned to be very patient and read signs of discomfort and needs in order to keep all animals safe, happy, healthy, and comfortable. I have close access to a secluded dog park and beautiful green spaces in a very walkable neighborhood. If I am watching a dog in a new area, I always look for similar spaces where dogs can safely engage with their environment. Within the home, I like to combine toys and training to get the most out of my time there. I am very affectionate towards cats and will help them get their daily activity in. I know some cats are nervous and need their space, and I can always accommodate for their individual needs.

About: I have been taking care of dogs all my life. I grew up with two and currently have a Husky and Terrier. On the days I am in the office (Typically M-W) I will only be available for drop ins/walks after 2pm. I can do early mornings or after 2pm. When I am WFH, I am available all day. Friends and family over the years have relied on me to watch over their fur babies, stop in and check on them for a simple belly scratch and potty break, all the way to staying the night to give them piece of mind while they're gone. I currently work full time. M-W I am able to stop into clients homes after I get off work, after 3. Thursday and Friday I work from home so besides meetings, I am able to drop in at any time of the day. Saturdays and Sundays I am pretty flexible as well :) Each client is different but I will learn what is best for their pet when I meet them. I won't crate their pet unless asked. Going outside with pets when they're out doing their business, and keeping them on a leash to keep them safe is my standard for caring for anyones pet. The parents know best and I'd follow their rules.

About: Erica and I have always loved & had dogs in our homes ever since we were kids. They were family, & we look forward to treating yours like family too. We have a very flexible with my schedule. We enjoy playing nerf dog, frisbie and fetch with the dogs during the day, and spending restful quiet time with them during the evenings. We have a nice sized fenced in backyard for them to play in, as well as a nice indoor sunroom that I have turned into a doggy indoor play area.
“Another great experience with Rover.com Jenny and her family were just what I was hoping for. Jenny and her daughter showed their caring nature for dogs immediately. Jenny is super organized, her house and yard are well suited for dog care. Her own dog, a Boston Terrier, was a cutie and got along fine with my girls. Communication with Jenny was easy, she carried through with everything she and I discussed. She was prepared if there was an emergency, she followed my feeding instructions and sent me pictures throughout the stay. The pictures showed my dogs were very comfortable during their stay, playing, going on walks, and sleeping.”
