“Angie is easily one of the best pet sitters we've ever had! Not only did she go out of her way to get to know our cats, but she also made it clear she really knows what she's doing. She was able to give our cats their medicine, and she made sure they were eating and drinking well throughout our entire 2 week trip. She gave us a daily update that included how the cats were doing, how they were eating/drinking, and a whole bunch of a pictures every single day! We were able to relax and know our fur babies were in excellent hands. We will definitely be booking her for all our future trips! We cannot recommend her enough.”

About: I have cared for and owned all different kinds of animals. I have been in the horse riding industry since I was 8 years old so I am not skiddish towards other animals. I truly have a passion for animals and I am very able and willing to do what it takes to take care of your beloved pets!! I am currently a full time student, however I am a commuter so I have the ability to travel freely in between classes and outside of classes. I am on summer break from May-September and have a virtually free schedule for whatever you may need! I am more than happy to confine to whatever you may need me to do in order to give your pet the best care possible. I have slept over, done drop ins, walks, etc. with other dog and cat sitting jobs and I am very comfortable.
About: Just being around animals makes me happy. I work full time as a vet assistant, but looking for a side job to do here and there. :) ** My schedule varies, please reach out** :) I work full time, long hour days so I do have more days off, currently I am looking for drop ins or walks for now! Safety is #1, communication is a must, being able to get your little fur baby out and about is important and fitting all your needs is as well.
“Lindsay was absolutely wonderful. She took great care of our sweet senior dog! She was great with giving updates and took amazing pictures. Definitely will use her again and highly recommend 😊”

“I’m always so very pleased with Jen! She always goes way over and above to care for my Darla! Plus she always sends the best pics of my kitty! Thanks so much! I’m sure Darla will miss you until next time! 🥰”

“Katelyn did a great job with my two cats, providing thorough and professional updates each visit. I felt at ease leaving my cats in her care and even my very cautious cat warmed up to her quickly. I highly recommend Katelyn's services!”

“Delanie is so sweet and was an instant connection with our sweet boy! She's very affectionate with him and takes great care of him! We appreciate her knowing we don't have to worry about him while we're out!”

“Kelly was great with the dogs - we have two bigger males (70lb husky and 100lb husky mix). It's clear that she really enjoys pets and the dogs had a great time. We will definitely be booking her again. She was very friendly and informative for the visit.”

About: Hello! I’m experienced with boarding tasks (feeding, administering medications, etc.), basic training, and in-home pet care. While I can't host pets at my place, I love coming to yours for walks, backyard play sessions, and overnight stays. **Dogs:** Happy to tire them out with walks, play, and potty breaks. **Cats:** Patient and gentle — I'll take the time to earn their trust. Previously worked with a small pet care business visiting clients' homes, so I'm comfortable following your specific instructions and treating your space with respect. Your pet stays happy at home. You stay worry-free. It’s a win-win! I’m currently working part-time at a dog kennel so I’m usually working 2-3, 8 hour or 6 hour shifts a week. If asked about requests in advance, I may be able to request time off to accommodate client needs. I don’t have the room to board dogs or cats in my current situation, however I am very experienced with boarding tasks and basic training. I absolutely love taking walks or just doing some play sessions in the backyard and enjoy getting kitties to warm up to me. I would mainly be looking for walks/play and potty visits, or pet sitting in the owner’s home.
About: I have been a part time dog sitter, cat sitter, house sitter, etc since I was 10 years old. I've also been a volunteer at my local animal shelter since I was 15. I've taken care of old dogs, young dogs, energetic dogs, couch potato dogs, friendly dogs, shy dogs, big dogs, small dogs, you name it. I've been doing this a long time and I've gotten really good understanding each pet and their individual needs. Every dog is different, and I love them all. I also have experience with dogs who need medications and ear drops, and I am Red Cross certified in Pet First Aid! I provide pet care full time, helping owners have peace of mind when they have to leave their buddies behind for a trip, or to go to work, it makes me happy knowing I can help out people and animals who could use an extra set of hands. I have an active personal life, always making plans friends and family, but offering services on here allows me to plan my leisure time around times I'm needed for pet care. Firstly, I want to say I understand meeting people online and inviting them into your home can be very anxiety inducing, and I want to reassure you that with me, your pet, your house, and your belongings are safe. If you have ANY questions or concerns, please let me know. I'm here to help answer anything that could cause you worry. Your pets are part of the family and I understand staying safe is a priority. When I personally am trusted to stay in someone's home, I usually stick around the same area of the house out of habit. I keep food where it belongs to prevent mishaps, and keep things off the floor to prevent injuries of their me or pets. When going for walks I like to stick to trails or sidewalked areas that have decent cell reception, just in case. I keep treats with me, extra bags, and have a phone holder for my wrist so I can have a hand free, especially for dogs who get excited from wildlife and could suddenly pull really hard anytime. I keep a pop up bowl and a bottle for water breaks. Before going for longer walks I touch test the path in case they are too hot. I also have experience putting jackets on dogs in the colder months.
About: I was raised with many different types of animals ranging from Dogs and Cats to amphibians and reptiles. Growing up I always had a passion for all species of animals, growing a hobby for the outdoors and all the wildlife that came with it, I have worked with rescue and rehabs for over 10 years. I currently have 2 dogs, 2 reptiles and 2 amphibians. There’s nothing I enjoy more than taking my dogs on walks to keep them mentally stimulated while also getting some extra exercise after play time. There’s nothing more important to myself as a pet owner to know that my dog can go to sleep happy every night. I love incorporating mentally stimulating puzzles and games for my dogs to enjoy. Many times I find a shorter walk with more brain games exerts my puppy’s energy much faster than physically running her. I have cared for young puppy’s and kittens who need to be bottle fed, senior pets that need diapers and special treatment as well as all ages, shapes and sizes between the two. I also have my fair share of experience with exotic animals including but not limited to, bearded dragons, whites tree frogs, pacman frogs, Chinese water dragons, Leopard Geckos, Tomato frogs, Russian tortoises, ball pythons, corn snakes, Multiple tree frog species as well as multiple common toad species, fish, small animals including, mice, rats, hamsters, Guinea pigs, and ferrets. I have experience caring for some large animals under the supervision of a professional, horses, cattle, goats, sheep, alpacas and pigs. Some minor experience caring for poultry including, Guinea foul, hens, and geese. Pet Care has always been on the top of my to do list since I was a young child through adulthood. I provide exceptional care for all animals no matter the feat. I have worked with boarding facilities doing minor training, grooming as well as sanitation ensuring that surfaces are properly disinfected as well as administering oral medications. When caring for your pet I would provide them with love and affection just as I would my own as well as follow any and all guidelines instructed to me, I would ensure the utmost respect and care for your home and your family members. I have been told by past clients that I go above and beyond when it comes to caring for their animals.
“Sarah has been dropping in during the work week for our older dog for several months now. Always so great with her, plays outside, and gives her a much needed break to the workday. Would 100% recommend, she's wonderful with our pup!”

About: All my life I’ve been surrounded by pups! I can help walk, feed, or take them out for potty breaks! Little or medium size preferred I’m a part time nanny & also a part time dance teacher so I would fit this in when I could. I would love to help You’re home will stay the exact way you left it! My job would only be to care for doggos, & respect your belongings truthfully .
“We used Kristy for a last minute drop-in visit for our 10 week old puppy. Kristy was responsive to our inquiry and we arranged a meet and greet for the same day. We immediately felt at ease after meeting Kristy and both of our dogs loved her! Even though we were only gone a few hours, Kristy provided us with several updates and pictures to ease any concerns about being away from our puppy for the first time. She took great care of our dogs and our home during the drop-in visit.”

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
