About: I’ve taken care of dogs since I was 14. I’ve watched family and friends furry friends while they went out of town. I also had an amazing dog that passed recently and I miss everyday. I currently work full time so I will be out of the house between 8 and 5. I have every other Friday off and I am able to spend the full day with your dog on those Fridays and then every Saturday and Sunday I follow instructions diligently and will ensure your dog is taken care off with all of there needs being met plus all of the cuddles
About: I have always been the "go to" person to care for friend and family pets. Mostly dogs and cats but willing to learn if you need any other kind of pet watched :) I currently work from home. “Mariluz is phenomenal!!!! We always used to board our dogs at Kennel type facilities. And as nice and pampering as they were; our dogs always came back a little different and definitely stressed. We were told to try Rover and are extremely happy we chose Mariluz. She had the most reviews in our area and you can tell she really cares for your furry loved ones needs. After plenty of communication; we set up a meet and greet in our home. We asked every question that came to mind and Mariluz assured us everything was fine and that we weren’t being overly concerned. About: I’ve had dogs in my house my whole life! I love all kinds of animals and have even volunteered at an animal shelter in high school. My most recent experience is working at a vet and boarding center. I’ve learned so much more about pet care this past year as my best friend/roommate works at a cat cafe and has a degree in Animal Health. I’ve even started administering medicine! About: What sets me apart from other sitters is my attentiveness and will to make sure the dogs’ are given the proper care and treatment they need regardless of age. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. sitters on Rover set their own , which you can find on their profile under their contact information. Sitters may set a same-day, one-, three-, or seven-day cancellation policy. Cancelling within your sitter’s cancellation policy qualifies you for a full refund.
Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement sitter.
