“Skye took such great care of my pitbull Kilo! She was attentive, communicative, and kept me updated throughout the visit. Kilo seemed to really enjoy his time with her, which gave me so much peace of mind. I would absolutely book with her again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a caring and reliable dog walker. :)”

“Jennifer took great care of our guy Dexter for several drop-in visits. She spent time with him, fed him, walked him, and provided detailed reports and photos. We are so excited to have him stay with her for a week. We will definitely utilize her services in the future. Thank you Jennifer for making Dexter feel he has a new family member!”
“Mark has been walking our large German Shepherd for almost two years now (including some long stretches when we were on vacation). We have always had really good experiences, observed impeccable reliability, have seen him go above and beyond to help us out and our dog seems to love him! The dog is 130 lbs so that can also be tricky but Mark works great with him! Would highly recommend Mark.”

“Elizabeth was exceptional, she sent constant notes with what they did and sent adorable photos of my kitty after every visit. She kept the place just as I left it and showed my pet constant love and I could tell from all the photos they were having a great time! Will 1000% rebook when the opportunity arises.”

“Reece was amazing! I didn’t have to worry at all about the care of our dogs. My daughter left a last minute note to care for a toy and we received updates on the toys at each visit. It was so much fun! I can’t recommend enough.”

“Yolanda is a fantastic communicator and wonderful caretaker for our fur babies. She goes above and beyond to ensure their comfort and fun and came through on a last minute request!”
“Jenn was amazing with nala! She was always on time, gave us so many pictures, was responsive and loved her like her own dog which is all we wanted and more. Would definitely book Jenn again!”

“I hired Taryn for a drop-in midday to let out and play with our Goldendoodle. She was on-time, communicative, took lots of pictures, and very easy to deal with! Would highly recommend!!”

“Danielle was amazing to my baby boy Mellow! He loved her and I felt secure having her around him and in my home in such a short notice. I had last minute thing and Danielle was there for the rescue. She visit Mellow twice a day for three days in the row, she made sure to feed him and play with him with his favorite toy and kept his litter clean. Thank you so much for taking great care of my baby. I will definitely have Danielle as my cat sitter again!”

About: I’ve been around animals my entire life and grew up with both cats and dogs. Caring for pets has always been a natural part of who I am. Today, I’m a proud cat parent to two senior cats, ages 12 and 13, who have taught me patience, responsibility, and the importance of personalized care. I understand that every pet has its own personality, routine, and needs. Whether it’s playtime, walks, feeding, medication, or simply providing companionship, I treat every pet as if they were my own. My goal is to make sure your furry family member feels safe, comfortable, and loved while you’re away. I look forward to meeting you and your pets! 🐾❤️ I’m not working at the moment, so I have full availability and a flexible schedule to care for pets. This allows me to give them plenty of attention, stick to their regular routines, and make sure they feel comfortable, safe, and loved while their owners are away. I can also accommodate last-minute bookings whenever possible. When caring for pets in their own home, my priority is to keep their routine as normal as possible. I’ll make sure they’re fed on schedule, have fresh water, get plenty of exercise and playtime, and receive lots of love and attention. I’ll also keep your home tidy, follow all care instructions carefully, and send regular photo updates so you can relax knowing your pet is happy, safe, and well cared for. 🐾❤️
“Steffanie did a wonderful job! She was great communicating with and sent me photos of my fur babies to ease my mind! My dogs loved her and I will definitely hire her again!! :) thank you so much Steffanie!!”

About: Animals have been a huge part of my day-to-day for as long as I can remember. I’m a lifelong animal lover (and admittedly a bit of a compulsive animal rescuer!) who has raised, rescued, and cared for many animals over the years. Today, I’m the proud owner of two cats, Midge and Maisel, and a dog, Baloo, of my own. My experience goes beyond everyday pet care. I’ve cared for animals during recovery, pets with special circumstances and additional needs, senior animals requiring extra patience and attention, and dogs with behavioral challenges. I understand that every animal has their own personality, comfort level, and routine, and I’m comfortable adjusting my approach to what helps them feel safe and cared for. While dogs and cats are the animals I work with most, my experience is pretty diverse! Over the years I’ve also cared for birds, fish, sugar gliders, snakes, and a handful of rescued wildlife—including raccoons, squirrels, a deer, and even an opossum. Above all, I treat the animals in my care like I would want someone to treat my own—with patience, affection, attentiveness, and respect for their individual needs. I know how much trust it takes to leave your pet in someone else’s care, and I take that responsibility seriously. I work part-time and remotely Monday through Saturday, which gives me a very flexible schedule and plenty of availability for pet care throughout the day. Because I work from home, I can easily accommodate walks, drop-in visits, feeding schedules, playtime, and pets who need a little more attention or companionship during the day. I know that inviting someone into your home and trusting them with your pets is a big deal, so I take both responsibilities seriously. When caring for pets in their own home, my goal is to keep things as familiar and comfortable as possible by following their normal routines, feeding schedules, walk routines, medications, house rules, and any special instructions you provide. I’ll treat your home with the same care and respect I would want someone to show mine—keeping things clean, secure, and exactly as you left them. I’m also happy to provide regular updates and photos so you can relax knowing your pets are safe, happy, and well cared for while you’re away.
About: Hi there, I speak English, Spanish and a little bit of Portuguese. I have always had pets growing up as a child and my love for them has grown into my adulthood even more. I have a passion for learning and understanding all different types of animals. My experience in Pet Care is from having my own pets and caring for family, friends and volunteering over the years. My availability is open. I’m highly organized and reliable pet sitter with a passion for animal care. Pets deserve Love too in a safe environment! I’m here to take care of your furry babies. I feed them, make sure they have water, and give them their medications. Cleaning experience, playing with them, letting them outside with supervision, and taking them for walks.
About: You know that girl at parties hanging out with the dog of the house instead of mingling? That’s me, I’m that girl!! I’ve grown up with all sorts of animals and have such respect & love for them, dogs in particular💜 My best fur friend Buster passed away at age 16 and it’s been an adjustment in my house, I have a lot of time on my hands, and would love to offer my services and attention to my community! I have dealt with separation anxiety and senior care (my fur baby had kidney issues in the end and required a lot of fluids injections) and am comfortable administering medications so I am willing to work with you & your needs. Upon request, I can also check your mail, bring in packages, water your plants, and do other small household tasks/chores to ensure that you have no worries while you're away. I look forward to meeting you! Spayed & neutered animals only please. I work part time, and my weeks are pretty flexible for drop ins and walks/care throughout the day so I’m available to spend as much time your pets need and give them all the lovins! I have a completely fenced yard and no current animals in my home, so your pet will get a lot of attention! I have a lot of space and can crate your pet if that’s what’s needed, and live in a gated community. Self transportation, and because I’m in a good area in Ocoee, between Windermere & Winter Garden, it’s great for drop ins as needed and I can be readily available.
About: I’ve taken care of dogs of every kind since I was 8. Neighbors, friends, and family have been able to rely on me to feed, walk, and sit their pets. I also am great with cats. I’m currently working a full time job but I’m more than happy to work around my schedule! I’m off on Wednesday and Thursday with alternating times. I am a very dependable person and you should know your pet is in good hands when you work with me. I’ll make sure to spend plenty of time with your pet, playing with them and making sure to walk them often. I will also be sure to feed them on time.

Thank you Jenn, we love having you and we can see Fish loves her time spent with you. Thank you for your great communication, many photos and caring. You shine! We can clearly see you love what you do. We look for to working with you again. Matt, Loretta and Fish

So happy I came across Yelena on Rover! What a gem!! 💎 She was so good with my little Sophie. Normally, Sophie is a scary cat and tends to hide, but Yelena worked her magic and got Sophie’s buy-in immediately. So happy to see how much she cared for her, provided me a lot of comfort especially being out of the country. Thank you so much Yelena!!

Diane did drop-in visits for our pets Kiba, Nigel and Maryanne this past weekend and did an absolutely phenomenal job. She was communicative, reliable, and clearly attentive to their individual needs every time she came by. It's not always easy to leave your pets at home, but Diane made the whole experience stress-free from start to finish. We came back to two happy, healthy, well-looked-after pets — which says everything. If you're looking for a pet sitter who genuinely cares and takes the job seriously, look no further. Highly recommend!

Thank you Kellie!! We are so grateful to have Kellie look after our cats over two years, while we are away. My diabetic cat needs insulin with his food every 12 hrs and has difficulty peeing in the letterbox so he uses several puppy training pads. Kellie understands his needs and takes great care of him. She was booked on the last day of our trip so we planned to come home early but she was able to fit him into her already busy schedule so we didn't have to worry. She is a real blessing!! 🙏

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
