I've been pet sitting for 5 years as a part time job and for fun since I was younger. As a passionate animal lover, I promise to provide a fun and safe environment for your pet as they walk, eat and play. Hope to meet your pets soon! I’m currently working part time, so I’ll have plenty of time to play with your pets! Please see my schedule for availability! My schedule is mostly consistent but has some rotation. I will keep your pets safe, happy, and healthy while enjoying their time on their walk, in their play time, or on their play dates.
“Reece was punctual and very attentive with my dog. She made sure he was comfortable, gave him a treat, and refreshed his water. I really appreciated her care and attention to detail.”

“Danielle did great with taking care of my two dogs and cat while we were away. She went above and beyond with her communication, sending pics and taking her time walking and feeding the pets. She even helped clean up with one of my dogs who had a poopy situation which was not at all expected, I felt bad my dog got runs while I was away. But she helped give him sweet potato so he felt better and even bought peewee pads, which just kept my mind at ease knowing my dog was being cared for. I would definitely rehire her again, she was just the best!”
“Mark went out his way to help us out, making scheduling easy by being flexible and quick with communication. He even sent us a cute picture of Tilly on her walk. Feel grateful to know she was well cared for when I couldn’t be there.”

“Ani'yah did an excellent job walking my dog. As soon as i opened the door she welcomed me with a big smile was so kind to bring chocolates. She was very calm and polite throughout the walk. I recommend her 100%”

About: I have loved and care for animals my whole life. I volunteered at a horse rescue from ages 10-15 and worked at a pet store from age 15-20. After graduating high school I perused and graduated with a bachelors degree in wildlife biology from Coastal Carolina University. No matter your loved ones shape or size, scales or fur, 4 legs or no legs, I’m here for all your animals needs and wants ! Dogs/ cats: Growing up we had about 4 dogs in the house at one time. My family always owned large breed dogs (mastiffs, saint Bernard’s, pit bulls, Akitas) and we also fostered dogs for about 4 years having as many as seven dogs in the house. I had one cat growing up and currently own two cats and one dog. In the pet store I worked in we had a doggie daycare where I supervised ~30 dogs at one time. Handling dogs my whole life I have become accustomed to specialized care for puppies, seniors and special needs. I am able to administer medications, help potty train, provide extra comfort to my senior critters, and do nail trims/ touch up haircuts and grooming. Small animals: I currently own 2 ferrets and 2 bunnies and grew up with 4 bunnies and 3 ferrets. In the pet store I worked in growing up, I also conducted animal husbandry and am familiar/ comfortable caring for small animals such as hamsters, guinea pigs, rabbits, chinchillas, ferrets etc. I am able to administer medications, clean enclosures, and do nail trims. Birds: I have very little experience handling birds but, am open to caring for them if needed. I am not uncomfortable with birds just have less handling experience. I am currently not working and am waiting to start more school in the fall. I take care of my small animals cats and dog on a daily basis and am pretty much available anytime. I have a fenced in yard. The small animals are kept caged and are not accessible to the other pets in the house. The dog (kleya) gets taken on multiple walks daily and brought to a local dog park.
“Jenn is such a rockstar. She walked, trained, played, and fed our dog while I had to go into office for the week. She provided great notes and pictures. She stuck to the schedule i provided but did lean on Nias temperament where necessary. Jenn is so careful and considerate. She is officially my go to for puppy sitting or walking.”

“If I could give Sarah more than the allowed stars, I would!!! She really went above and beyond for my anxious little doggy who was in a weird hotel while my family was on vacation. She was only expected to take our dog on a 30 min walk, but when she realized how anxious she was, Sarah stayed extra time just to give her some much needed TLC. She is not only responsible and attentive, but extremely conscientious and empathetic to our pets being an extension of our own families. I couldn't recommend her more.”

“Jamie is such a kind and attentive dog sitter! I needed someone to take my corgi out for me on weekdays while I’m at work, but Jamie did a lot more than that. She played with my dog, gave her lots of love and treats, and made sure she had water. Jamie will take great care of your pup!”

“Tathyana is amazing! She's so responsible and flexible. My elder dog had an accident and she helped me clean up. She is so loving and caring for Mocha. Definitely 100% recommend !”

About: I’ve grown up with dogs my whole life and am very comfortable with daily pet care routines like walks, feeding, playtime, and giving them attention! I have also cared for dogs and cats for family friends while they were away. I am back home from college for the summer, so I have plenty of time! My schedule is pretty flexible outside of practices and workouts which are usually from around 9 AM-2 PM. Other than that, I’m available for walks, drop-ins, playtime, and overnight care! In a client’s home, I make sure pets stay comfortable by keeping them on their normal routine with feeding, walks, playtime, bathroom breaks, and lots of attention!
“My second time working with Jessie. As before, communicated very professionally and showed up on time for the walk. My dog was happy, when I got home, and so I'm happy as well :)”

About: I'm a Veterinary student who just took her board exam and waiting for my results to be able to practice, former vet tech, plus I have a bachelors degree in Animal Sciences from the University of Florida. Been working with animals since 2009 and have great references. I have a fur child of my own named Leo, he's a 2 year old golden retriever. My passions for animals dates back to when I was child, and working in this field has reassured me that this is something I truly love doing. Also took a grooming course, so I can perform baths, nail trims, and express anal glands. I can provide dog walking, drop in visits and dog sitting in your own home so that you feel more confortable leaving your pet in their own surroundings. Be reassured that your fur kids will be well taken care of and in loving hands. I hope to meet you and your fur children soon. I am currently waiting for my board exam results in the mean time have plenty of time to pet sit and play with your pets in the meantime. I like to follow your daily routine that you have established with your pet. I feel like it important to keep your routine while you are away so that your pet can be as comfortable as possible. For example my own pet gets fed at 6am and requiere to be let out at 5:45am prior (and doesn't understand the concept of day light savings haha).
“James did great with Finnick despite my pup being nervous around new people. He did a great job and was a huge help to me since I broke my foot and cannot exercise my pup the way he needs to be. Finnick took right to him and James kept me updated the entire time as I was nervous about how Finnick would be with a new person. They played at the park and had a blast. He sent me videos and pictures showing how excited my boy was which made me so happy to see. Finnick loved spending time with James. Will definitely book him again!! Thanks James!!!”

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Gotha
Gina was absolutely wonderful. We had some last minute issues come up and needed a walker for two days at the literal last minute. Gina stepped in and took great care of our two pups. She was very communicative, punctual, and friendly. We will definitely be using her again in the future..hopefully with more notice!

We can always count on Sarah to be there to help us with our pups. She has been someone who we rely on daily and love that she has gotten to know and help shape our puppy into who she is now. Anybody with a puppy knows that they can be a little bit unpredictable. Sarah has been there through the good days and the not so cooperative days. We really appreciate her!

Kayleigh arrived a few minutes ahead of the scheduled 60 minute walk to become acquainted with Rhea. During the walk, she sent several pics of Rhea exploring her surroundings (enthusiastic ground sniffing). When they returned, Rhea demonstrated her signature affection behavior of licking and rubbing her head against Kayleigh’s leg. Rhea and I look forward to Kayleigh’s return.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
