“Jamie regularly watches and walks my pup for me while I’m at work, and she’s been so caring! She’s so attentive, and she communicates with me a lot. Very trustworthy sitter!”

“Maestro and Maggie Mae really enjoyed their time with Samantha. Of course, the first couple of walks they were a bit anxious with a new human, but by the third walk they were both waiting by the front door for her arrival. Samantha is a sweet young woman, who really seems to love her gig as a walker. We heartily recommend her, and most importantly, will reach out again for her services when required. Thanks Samantha”

“My second time working with Jessie. As before, communicated very professionally and showed up on time for the walk. My dog was happy, when I got home, and so I'm happy as well :)”

“I highly recommend Mark. He is amazing with my not-so-easy to walk fur baby. He gave great feedback and made me feel comfortable that my dog was in the best care. I loved all the pictures he sent. Also, this is the first time I used Rover and Mark was very knowledgeable and helped me through the process.”

About: While in college, I volunteered at a human society and have been caring for my family dogs since I was able to stay home alone, up until currently. Right now, I am trying to figure out my career after college and what I want to do with my degree so I figured in the meantime why not do something that I have a strong passion for! I am very young and active, so just about everytime your baby wants/needs to go outside I will take them for a walk. I also love to play with them, if that’s something they love. I am here to make your pet feel most comfortable while you are away!

About: I have been surrounded by animals throughout my life and understand that every pet has its own personality, routine, and comfort level. I was raised with a red-nose Pit Bull, an XL Bully, and two English Bulldogs, so I am comfortable caring for strong, large-breed dogs as well as smaller pets. My family also cares for a flock of chickens, African geese, ducks, and a turkey. This experience has taught me to be patient, observant, dependable, and respectful of animals with very different needs and temperaments. I can help with feeding, fresh water, walks, playtime, litter-box or pet-area cleanup, companionship, and following your pet’s normal routine. I will carefully follow your instructions and provide photos and updates so you can feel confident that your pet is safe, comfortable, and receiving attentive care while you are away. Pet care fits well into my daily schedule. I have a flexible routine and can make time to feed, walk, play with, and care for animals consistently. I’m dependable, punctual, and able to adjust my schedule to meet the needs of the pets I’m responsible for. I care for pets by following their routine as closely as possible. I make sure they have fresh food and water, get plenty of exercise and playtime, and receive lots of attention and affection. I also keep their living area clean, watch for any signs that they may not be feeling well, and follow any instructions the owner provides, including administering medication if needed and I’m trained to do so. My goal is to make every pet feel safe, comfortable, and cared for while their owner is away.
About: I have looked after dogs and cats practically all my life. I have no problem at all administering medication, sending pics to you and so on. Mainly evenings and weekends, but can be flexible and offer pretty much anytime. Let me know what you need please, and I will accommodate if at all possible! I prioritize clients located in my neighborhood but am willing to consider other neighborhoods close by. I am near the Dr. Phillips dog park for walks. There is also a park in my development I can take pooches to anytime I want.
About: I’ve taken care of neighbors and friends pets (dogs and cats) since a young age. I have had 2 dogs of my own with varied needs (medical/dietary/etc). I pride myself on loving animals like they are my own and creating a peace of mind for their owners while away. I am very flexible with reliable transportation to assist with all pet related needs so am able to assist with most situational needs from each owner. I have a fenced yard, community dog park and perfect loop for walks as well as a friendly 28 pound 2 year old wheaten terrier who loves all people and animals. While in others homes you can trust me to follow all directions and take perfect care of your babies like you would yourself!
About: Hi, I’m Catherine! 🐾 I absolutely LOVE dogs, and I especially enjoy caring for small dogs and puppies. I know how much our pets mean to us because they’re family! ❤️ That’s why I treat every dog in my care with the same love, attention, and patience I would want for my own. I have a home with a gated backyard and pool area, giving dogs a safe and comfortable space to play, relax, and enjoy some fresh air. I love playing with dogs, keeping them entertained, and making sure they get plenty of attention throughout the day! Whether your dog is a playful puppy or a more relaxed adult, I like to keep a close eye on them and make sure they’re safe, comfortable, happy, and have all of their needs met. I also have a small 11-lb Maltese who is very friendly and loves making new friends! 🐶💕 I’m currently accepting small dogs only, and I’d love to get to know your pup! If you have any questions or would like to chat about your dog’s needs, feel free to message me through Rover. 😊 I work from home with a flexible schedule, which gives me plenty of time throughout the day to care for pets. I’m able to give them frequent attention, take them outside for play and potty breaks, and make sure they’re comfortable and well cared for while they’re in my home! I care for every pet as if they were part of my own family! 💞 I have a fenced backyard where your fur baby can safely play, relax, and get some fresh air. I also have a small, friendly 11-lb Maltese who loves making new friends and will be happy to keep your fur baby company! 🐶💕 I make sure every pet gets plenty of attention, playtime, supervision, and lots of love throughout their stay.
About: I have taken care of several types of dogs over the last 20 years. No matter how big, small, wild or calm a dog is, I always have a great time understanding their personalities. Being the rescuer of a dog that did not get much attention I believe that time, affection, patience and love are some of the most important attributes one can display to a pet. My family dog, Chewie currently lives back in my hometown with my parents so I am dedicated to providing the best and most flexible services that meet my customer's needs. I am a Cybersecurity Professional, Graduate Student, and Military Veteran that can be trusted with anything. If you have questions please feel free to reach out. Thank you, Q I work from home often, so I’ll have plenty of time to spend with your dogs during the day. I also have the flexibility to take breaks and go for walks during my workday as well. Walk or Jog on nearby trails. Explore and sniff around my neighborhood. Cuddle and play games like fetch to get those tails wagging! Give snacks and treats if owners allow.
“Maddie did a wonderful job walking our pups while we were in town and out adventuring during the days. She was very quick with correspondence, right from booking and through the week, providing pics and details of each walk. The pups took to her quickly, and we had a great peace of mind knowing she'd swing by and take care of them. We will definitely look to use Maddie in the future when in the area.”

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Doctor Phillips
Taylor has to be one of the best people to take care of my Zoe. She walked Zoe everyday for two weeks and was always on time, made sure Zoe was well exercised and well fed.Taylors love for animals and her work is very evident and I️ will definitely be using her again.
Sarah was amazing. She cared for our dogs while we were at the park. It was nice to not have to come back to the campground to let them out. She showed up when she was supposed to and gave us a report to know how things went. She was also very understanding and compassionate when we had to cancel because our kids got sick. If we come back to Disney, we would definitely use her again.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
