“I highly recommend Mark. He is amazing with my not-so-easy to walk fur baby. He gave great feedback and made me feel comfortable that my dog was in the best care. I loved all the pictures he sent. Also, this is the first time I used Rover and Mark was very knowledgeable and helped me through the process.”

About: I’ve been around dogs my whole life and have dog sat for many over the years! I’ve owned big & small dogs so nothing is new to me. Big believer in training dogs and that they are smarter than most people know. But overall I just want every pup to be loved and cared for in whatever ways the need! I currently work during the day but have a flexible schedule! I love taking walks after work in the evenings and during the day on my days off (Sunday / Monday) My dog is my everything to me but he doesn’t like kids. I have to be careful about that on walks. Every dog is different. Whether it’s on walks or in your own back yard I know dogs want to have fun and play but I’ll also ensure they stay safe. Whether it’s from other dogs, animals, running off or even from people- I understand that every dog is different and needs different care. I’ll pay attention and keep them safe, cared for and happy!
About: I am available during the daytime, evening and nighttime! I am home for the summer from the University of Kentucky and would love to help you out with any pet sitting! It is important to me I build a trustworthy and positive relationship with your fur babies. I have had a dog since I was 6 years old and just recently in college I have trained and raised 4 service dogs that are now placed with little children that have a disability! I am more than happy to help you out, please feel free to reach out! Since I am home for the summer, I am super flexible. I have my own car and a very open schedule! I am available Mon-Thursday and some weekends depending on the care the client needs! I make sure I build a strong relationship with the clients and their fur babies! I know how important it is first hand to have someone you trust watching your loved one, so I make sure to have a positive, fun and loving relationship with each and every pet I am offered to babysit!
“Jamie is such a kind and attentive dog sitter! I needed someone to take my corgi out for me on weekdays while I’m at work, but Jamie did a lot more than that. She played with my dog, gave her lots of love and treats, and made sure she had water. Jamie will take great care of your pup!”

About: Caring for animals has always been a part of my life, not just something I do on the side. I’ve grown up with both dogs and cats, and regularly volunteered at OCAS for 3 years after college, so I’m very comfortable with all personalities, breeds, energy levels, and routines, from playful puppies to senior pets who need extra patience and care. I’m highly attentive, reliable, and treat every pet as if they’re my own. I pay close attention to routines, behavior, and comfort so your pet feels safe, loved, and stress-free while you’re away. I currently have full availability, meaning I can match your pets routine schedule as close as possible, so they continue with their routine and feel comfortable. I treat your home as if it was my own and when I leave, I ensure that it’s put in order and looks like I was never there.

About: Hi there! I’ve been on rover for over a decade and just reinstated my profile after selling my gift basket business and becoming a full time stay at home dog mom! Walking brings me so much joy and what could be better than having your pup by my side while we get our steps in together? I have cared for dogs of all shapes and sizes (and am a former horse girl) so I feel right at home walking strong dogs or those with big personalities. Happy to learn about and honor your personal preferences for your pup, whether that involves heavy socialization with other pups or 1:1 human/dog time! If you are staying at a pet friendly Disney hotel, I am very familiar with the resorts and would love to do drop ins and/or walks for your pup while you enjoy the parks! My boyfriend and I rescued a (born) deaf 2 year old mini-Aussie, and we have put a lot of time and effort into learning about dog behavior training and animal psychology to better serve her. I’ve attended trainings with The Dog Whisperer (Caesar Milan) and various local trainers/clinics. Additionally, my undergrad degree is psychology based and I grew up working with animals, both of which have given me a strong skill base in animal behavior and personalized care. Dogs are my full time gig, so your pup will have constant love and attention from me, and a companion in our dog Spec (if desired). We believe in going on long walks, exploring all the sights and smells of the dog park, and resting up on our favorite pillow or dog bed. I have been an animal owner my entire life, working with and owning horses, chinchillas, hamsters, fish, and dogs. Prior to adopting our mini-Aussie, I have owned 2 Great Pyrenees, 2 Chinese Cresteds, 4 Papillions, a Teacup Papillion, and several other pups earlier in life. I feel confident working with different breeds and temperaments, and am happy to provide as much or as little exercise and attention as your dog needs to thrive. I am happy to meet with you/allow you to see our space before your pup's overnight stay, and can provide references upon request. We want you to feel comfortable and relaxed knowing that your pup is in good hands! While you are away, I can provide phone, email, and text communication (as much or as little as you want!) to make sure you know your pup is safe and happy. About this sitter: We moved to Florida from New York/Pennsylvania after working for and studying at Penn State University. I love to visit Disney, try out new cuisines, and play with my favorite girl Spec (our deaf mini-aussie). I love the Florida weather and try to spend as much time as possible outside playing in the sunshine! Why I love dog sitting I have been working with dogs (and other animals) my entire life! I grew up with trained therapy dogs and taught therapeutic (horseback) riding to student with physical and emotional disabilities. My mother and I visited the VA and local nursing homes with therapy dogs, and I became quite familiar with daily life with pets. I am always working to learn more by reading training books, watching Ceasar Milan, and taking training classes. Meet my pets Spec - a now 15 year old mini Australian Shepherd About my yard We live in a townhouse with a (small) fenced in backyard. Our development has plenty of walking space along with a walking trail and lots of grass! We love going for walks and runs - whatever your pup likes! The addition of two new dog parks (large and small) has also increased opportunities for outdoor play if you choose to have me bring your pup to our neighborhood! My experience administering medication I took Pharmacy Technician and Emergency Medical Technician courses and grew up in a medical household (father was a doctor) so I feel comfortable around medicine. I have administered shots and medications to horses and dogs over the past 20 years. I am a full time stay at home dog mom after selling my gift basket business in 2022. My husband also works from home, so there is always someone with eyes on our own (born deaf) pup Spec! I am a walking enthusiast, and love any excuse to get more steps in so if your dog loves a long or short walk we will get along great! We have a small fenced in back patio where dogs can potty off leash, and inside we have a dog friendly environment where your fur baby will receive lots of care and attention! Our neighborhood has nice walking trails so if outdoor time is desired we have options!
About: I grew up on a farm with 5 dogs. When I moved to the US, I got my own puppy (a golden retriever), and I trained her myself. I foster dogs and cats from nearby shelters. I always make sure to follow instructions for a seamless transition for your animal! I have a dog myself. When my family and I got her, I signed a contract to take care of her myself. She is now almost 8 years old, always full of joy and in great health. I love to play with dogs, and get them tired and ready to take a nap! I am ready to clean after dogs if needed (in the house and outside), and take care of them no matter their needs. I want you and your pet to feel taken care of.
“Thank you very much for your great service! I hope wasn't too difficult with such hot days. I'll look at your availability 'cause I might need your help again soon😀”

About: Dogs have been a part of my life for more than 20 years, and caring for them is something I genuinely love. Friends and family have long trusted me as their go-to pet sitter and dog walker whenever they travel, knowing their pets will be treated like family in my care. I have experience with dogs of all ages, sizes, and temperaments, including training and rehabilitating aggressive rescue dogs. I’m comfortable administering medications such as pills, ear drops, and topical treatments, and I have firsthand experience caring for elderly dogs or dogs with complex medical needs. My beloved dog, Ralphie, bravely battled cancer for over a year, which taught me patience, attentiveness, and the importance of compassionate care during difficult times. My home features a secure, grassy fenced-in backyard where dogs can safely play and explore. Since Ralphie passed away last year after a second battle with cancer, I have all the space, supplies, and dog-friendly setup needed to comfortably care for visiting pets, but no pets of my own. This allows me to focus completely on the dogs in my care. My goal is simple: to make your dog feel safe, happy, loved, and cared for while you’re away. 🐾❤️ I am currently between jobs, which gives me a very flexible schedule and plenty of time to provide walks, playtime, companionship, potty breaks, medication administration, and lots of love and attention. I offer doggy daycare, drop-in visits, walks, and can accommodate boarding for up to two dogs at a time on a case-by-case basis to ensure every pet receives personalized care. When caring for dogs in my home, I focus on creating a safe, calm, and comfortable environment where they can maintain their normal routine as much as possible. I have a secure, grassy fenced-in backyard for supervised play and exercise, and there are no children in the home—just two responsible adults—so visiting dogs can enjoy a quieter, lower-stress environment. Because I do not currently have any pets of my own, dogs in my care receive my full attention and don’t have to adjust to sharing space with resident animals. For daycare and boarding, I provide regular potty breaks, walks, playtime, enrichment activities, plenty of affection, and close supervision. I am experienced with administering medications, including pills, ear drops, and topical treatments, and I carefully follow any instructions provided by pet parents. I also limit boarding to a small number of dogs to ensure each one receives personalized care and attention. When caring for dogs in a client’s home, I respect their established routines and work to make the experience as seamless as possible. Whether that means following a specific feeding schedule, administering medications, maintaining training practices, providing exercise, or simply offering companionship, I treat every pet as if they were my own. I understand that consistency helps dogs feel secure while their owners are away, and I make communication a priority by providing regular updates, photos, and check-ins. 🐾
About: I have raised dogs my entire life, from small puggle to big German shepherds. I also worked for one year in a dog grooming facility learning to professionally care for animals. I do not current have any other job but will be taking one college class over the summer, so my availability is mostly wide open. I prioritize safety, trust, and a calm environment in every home I care for. I follow each pet’s routine closely, keep spaces clean and secure, and make sure pets are always supervised and happy. I respect my client’s home, communicate regularly with updates, and handle every pet with patience, attention, and genuine care.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
