About: What sets me apart is a lifetime of hands-on experience with dogs. I’ve been around dogs since I was two years old and have spent years caring for dogs of all breeds, sizes, ages, and temperaments. I’ve personally owned both large and small breeds, trained all of my own dogs, and developed a strong understanding of canine behavior, body language, and individualized care. I’m also experienced with proper nutrition and feeding routines, including specialized diets and raw feeding, and I know how important it is to follow each dog’s routine exactly. I treat every dog as if they were my own, providing safe, reliable, and personalized care so you can have complete peace of mind while you’re away. Currently I am not working so I have complete flexibility to fit your needs for your pup even if that is last minute. I provide quick responses and open communication. As of now I cannot offer daycare or boarding in my home but I always treat my clients home as I would treat my own with the upmost respect and care for their property. I will be as diligent and detailed as possible when entering your home and caring for your pet.
About: I have raised dogs my entire life, from small puggle to big German shepherds. I also worked for one year in a dog grooming facility learning to professionally care for animals. I do not current have any other job but will be taking one college class over the summer, so my availability is mostly wide open. I prioritize safety, trust, and a calm environment in every home I care for. I follow each pet’s routine closely, keep spaces clean and secure, and make sure pets are always supervised and happy. I respect my client’s home, communicate regularly with updates, and handle every pet with patience, attention, and genuine care.

Of course, the first couple of walks they were a bit anxious with a new human, but by the third walk they were both waiting by the front door for her arrival. Samantha is a sweet young woman, who really seems to love her gig as a walker. We heartily recommend her, and most importantly, will reach out again for her services when required. Thanks Samantha”

About: Hi, I'm Amanda! I'm originally from Dallas, TX, and recently moved to Orlando. I've been pet sitting for over two years, primarily for families in my neighborhood, and caring for dogs is something I genuinely love. As a dog mom myself, I know how stressful it can be to leave your dog with someone else. My goal is to provide the kind of care and communication that I would want for my own dog, so you can enjoy your day knowing your pup is safe, happy, and well cared for. For doggy daycare, I only accept one client at a time. This allows me to provide individualized attention, closely monitor every interaction, and focus on your dog's specific needs throughout the day. While they won't be part of a large daycare group, they will get to share my home with my dog, River. She is a very friendly 20-pound minature labradoodle. She's gentle, social, and has grown up around dogs of all sizes and ages, including seniors, so she's great at reading other dogs' cues and knowing when they want to play or simply relax. For everyone's safety and comfort, I only accept daycare dogs who are friendly with dogs, and all interactions are closely supervised to make sure everyone has a fun, positive experience. For daycare guests, I am home with them throughout the day and provide frequent potty breaks, walks, playtime, enrichment, and plenty of affection. I live in a first-floor apartment with direct access to large grassy areas through my patio gate, making it easy to get outside whenever needed. If your dog prefers multiple walks or extra potty breaks, I'm happy to accommodate their routine. I also send regular photo and video updates so you can see how your pup is doing while you're away. I know how much peace of mind those updates provide because I look for the same thing when my own dog is in someone else's care. All of my daycare guests get to free roam the home and are welcome on the furniture, just as they would be in their own home. Because I am home throughout the day, your dog will be supervised at all times. If your dog is crate-trained and you'd like them to have crate time during their stay, you're welcome to bring their crate so we can maintain their normal routine. I have experience with puppies, senior dogs, and anxious or shy dogs. My own dog can be shy when meeting new people, so I understand the patience, structure, and reassurance that some dogs need to feel comfortable in a new environment. I always allow dogs to adjust at their own pace and never force interactions. I'm conveniently located less than 10 minutes from SeaWorld, approximately 15 minutes from Universal Orlando, and about 20 minutes from Walt Disney World, making drop-off and pickup easy for both local families and vacationing guests. I also offer flexible pickup times, including late-night pickups until 1:00 a.m. by prior arrangement. I know theme park days, special events, and fireworks nights can run later than expected, and I want you to enjoy your time without worrying about rushing back for your dog. I'd love the opportunity to meet you and your pup and provide them with a safe, comfortable, home-away-from-home experience! I'm currently a college student completing my degree online, which gives me a very flexible schedule and allows me to be home full-time. Pet care is my primary focus, so I'm available throughout the day for walks, potty breaks, playtime, and plenty of attention. Whether your pup needs a midday walk, a drop-in visit, or all-day daycare, I can provide reliable, consistent care and work with your schedule whenever possible. I believe every dog has their own routine, personality, and needs, so I always tailor my care to what makes them most comfortable. Whether I'm visiting your home or caring for your pup in mine, I'll make sure they receive plenty of attention, exercise, and affection. For drop-in visits, I'll follow your pet's normal routine, including feeding, fresh water, potty breaks, playtime, administering medication if needed, and of course lots of love. During walks, I prioritize your dog's safety while making sure they get the exercise and mental stimulation they need. For daycare in my home, your dog will have a calm, comfortable environment with supervised play, walks up to three times a day, potty breaks as needed, and plenty of time to rest. My friendly 20-pound Mini Labradoodle, River, enjoys having canine visitors, and all interactions are carefully supervised to ensure everyone is safe and comfortable. I'll also send regular updates and photos so you can have peace of mind while you're away.
About: I have been caring for dogs for over 6 years, and animals have always been a big part of my life. While living in Puerto Rico, I volunteered with a non-profit organization dedicated to rescuing and caring for dogs in need. I understand that every dog has their own personality, routine, and needs. My goal is to make your pup feel safe, comfortable, and loved while they are away from home. I am comfortable providing medication when needed and following specific care instructions to make sure your pet receives the same attention and routine they are used to. Your dog will have plenty of playtime, affection, and companionship with Rocco and me. I only accept a limited number of pets at a time so each dog receives personalized attention. I currently work part-time, which allows me to dedicate plenty of time and attention to the pets in my care. When I’m home, your pup will have companionship, playtime, walks, and a comfortable environment where they can feel relaxed. I understand how important it is to leave your pet with someone you trust, so I make their routine and well-being my priority. Your pet’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. I have a crate available if your dog is comfortable using one, but otherwise they are welcome to relax and enjoy the apartment environment with supervision. I enjoy taking dogs on walks, visiting nearby parks, and giving them opportunities to play, explore, and stay active. I also make sure each dog has a calm space where they can rest and feel at home.

About: As the previous owner of two American Pitbull Terriers, two Italian greyhounds, and a rescued Greyhound, I know how traveling for even a day away from home can be daunting. I have no qualms with cleaning up after after all sorts of animals, even the ones that walk on two legs! No breed is too scary for me to work with; ALL breeds deserve love and affection. Last minute plans and emergencies happen. So no need to worry, I'm available at the drop of a dime. Whether at my own home, or in your pets comfortable environment, I will treat your fur child or children as my own. So rest easy while you're on vacation or at work! I'm ready to go! I currently work full time in a quiet office, 9am to 5pm, 3 days a week. I’d be happy to bring your furry friend to work with me, or even take breaks during the day to stop in and check on them. I work from home 2 days a week with wide open availability. I maintain a clean home for my pets, and I would hold my home to an even higher standard if your pet was to stay with me. They will have my full attention while under my care, and I would respect their boundaries as well as yours if you preferred they remain at your home.

About: I’ve loved dogs my entire life. From growing up with a Basset Hound and Beagle to spending the last 8 years raising my own dog, Ivy, I’ve learned that every dog has their own personality, routine, and needs. I understand how much trust it takes to leave your dog in someone else’s care, and I treat every dog as if they were my own. I recently returned to performing at Disney, so my availability is a little different than before. I still have a very flexible schedule and am available for many walks and drop-in visits throughout the week. If you’re unsure about a date or time, feel free to send me a message—I’d be happy to check my availability! I understand that trusting someone with your pet is a big decision, and I take that responsibility seriously. As a dog owner myself, I’ve spent the last 8 years caring for my own dog, Ivy, and I know how important routines, safety, and communication are. I’ll always follow your pet’s feeding schedule, exercise needs, medications, and house rules. Whether caring for your pet in your home or during walks and visits, I’ll provide attentive, reliable care and keep you updated with photos and messages so you can have peace of mind while you’re away.

Katherine was the best match for me and my dog Linda!! If you are looking for someone loving and caring but yet punctual and respectful of your home Katherine is all of that and more! She will send the best detailed updates and follow your instructions thoroughly! Highly recommended! I will definitely will be interested in having her dog sitting Linda again 🐕

She was absolutely wonderful! She took such great care of my dog—made sure she was well fed, exercised, and happy. I really appreciated the clear communication and how thoughtful she was throughout the visit. It gave me total peace of mind knowing my dog was in such good hands. I would 100% recommend her and will definitely book again!

Sarah was amazing. She cared for our dogs while we were at the park. It was nice to not have to come back to the campground to let them out. She showed up when she was supposed to and gave us a report to know how things went. She was also very understanding and compassionate when we had to cancel because our kids got sick. If we come back to Disney, we would definitely use her again.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
