“Mervat was fantastic taking care of our senior dog while we spent a day at the parks. Not only is our dog advanced in age, but she is 75% blind and requires oral medications and eye drops several times per day so I was worried about boarding her with someone new. However, Mervat clearly has a lot of experience with dogs including those with medical needs as she was gentle and skilled in delivering the drops from the moment we dropped our dog off. Mervat sent pictures throughout the day and was very accommodating of our drop off and pickup times - we picked our dog up quite late, at 11:30 p.m. after leaving Disney. We don't live in Florida, but if we did, we would definitely book with Mervat again as it was clear our pup was happy and well cared for. Thank you, Mervat!”

About: Our 6 year old golden gives us a proper run for our money, but it’s nothing I can’t handle - the same applies for your pets! I’ve never not lived with at least one animal growing up. I know that for some animals, meeting new people can be scary, and so the skittish cat I gained the trust of growing up has helped me learn patience when making a new friend. I know basic training in dogs, which includes being a calm, kind, and confident leader when I need to be (discouraging biting, jumping, excessive barking, pulling on a leash, etc. with positive reinforcement). While I may take up other jobs such as babysitting and being a door dasher, I am up for any work! My schedule is very flexible. I can start from 11 AM and beyond, I can administer pill/ointment medication and provide plenty of love! <3 We have a dog run in our large backyard that stretches from one end to the other so any dog attached can run about as they please. A fence along the perimeter of the backyard is also going to be installed soon. We are knowledgeable in our pets’ allergies, diets, training, and energy habits that allow us to keep them happy and healthy. While our cat is more introverted and prefers to sleep most of the day, our golden requires far more enrichment, which I never fail to provide, whether that’s through puzzle toys I buy, walks/runs, taking her to new environments, or just a simple game of tug-of-war.

About: I’m an experienced and reliable pet sitter with over 10 years of hands-on animal care experience. I grew up on a farm, which gave me experience caring for animals from a young age and taught me responsibility, patience, and dependable care. I’ve cared for dogs of all sizes, ages, and temperaments, including puppies and senior pets. Friends, family, and neighbors have trusted me to feed, walk, play with, and check in on their pets while away. I also have experience caring for farm animals and always aim to keep pets safe, comfortable, and happy while treating them like my own. I also have over 13 years of dog training experience training my own dog whom I went on to win many awards in my 4-h dog club for his obedience and went on to become a trainer for the club helping many children learn to train their dogs I currently have classes on Monday and Wednesday and a part time at bercerra stables in the mornings so a typical day would involve a good morning walk and breakfast(if you do that for your pet) before I have to leave at 7. Around noon I'll get back home and I can give them another walk then I'm home for the reat of the day working on school work and definitely playing with the dog while I ignore my homework. Then around 9-10 I'll take them on another walk before I head off to bed. I do not have the biggest apartment but my complex has an amazing dog park, I have pets stay in my bedroom and sleep on my bed (of course that is if you allow them to be on furniture). I do like to go for runs a couple days out of the week so if you have a big dog I would be more than happy to bring them along
