About: Drop In Availability: Morning: 6a-9a; Evening: 6p-10p Dog Walk Availability: Morning: 6a-9a; Evening: 6p-9p I grew up with two Mastiffs, so I understand the importance of structure, patience, and making pets feel loved. I truly thought of Brutus and Khan (my mastiffs) like my brothers. Brutus and Khan were afraid of the thunderstorms so I learned from a young age how to comfort them. Over the years, I’ve cared for dogs, cats, a reptile and some farm animals. I truly enjoy getting to know each pet and animal’s personality. I’m comfortable administering medications, including pills, powders, and injections, and I always follow care instructions closely to keep your pet’s routine consistent. As someone who works remotely, I’m reliable, communicative, and able to give your pet the time and attention they need. I treat every pet like they’re my own, creating a calm, loving environment so you can feel completely at ease while you’re away. I work remotely, which allows me to be flexible and present throughout the day. I’m able to schedule drop-ins, feedings, playtime, and check-ins around my work, so pets receive consistent attention. At home, I schedule myself around a “Pomodoro Method” and include 5-10 minutes of playtime with my cat when I need a break. When I’m caring for pets in your home, my goal is to make everything feel as normal and comforting as possible for them. I stick closely to their usual routine so they feel safe and at ease in their own home. I also treat your home with the same respect I would my own, keeping things clean and giving you regular updates. At home, I keep a calm, cozy environment for my own cat. I never use the “big light” and the TV is always kept on a quiet level for her. I will turn on the CatTV when I get busy with my work as well.

“Jacoby did great with my River. He was super attentive and communicative. River can be shy but she warmed up to Jacoby quickly. And I received lots of updates. Will definitely be booking Jacoby for the future!”

“Paula is a fantastic dog walker and a sweet caring person. She even volunteered to stop by and meet us the night before since we were staying very close to her home. She took fantastic care of our girl while we spent all day at Universal. I wished she lived in NJ so we could have her on a regular basis.”

“Jackie checked in on our cat 3 times per day while we were out of town for an extended weekend. We have a senior cat, so leaving her in such good hands made us feel a lot better about our trip. Jackie did a phenomenal job ensuring Winnie was fed, litter box was cleaned, and our cat had some play time throughout the day. She provided a detailed summary of each visit along with 8-10 photos per visit. Jackie agreed to a meet and greet a couple days in advance and it really helped ensure everything went smoothly. I would definitely recommend Jackie to anyone looking for a pet sitter while out of town.”

“I have used Shelley twice and loved how she cared for my two kitties!! I would recommend her to anyone!! I’m hoping she will be able to care for them again next month!!”

“Nick was amazing! He was very professional and scheduled a video chat with me so he could share all about his business and how he could help Coco. He asked the right questions and I could absolutely tell he knew what he was doing. I will absolutely use him again in the future!”

“I had Taylor cat sit for my super scaredy anxious sick kitty that needed medication administered while I was gone. It’s always nerve wracking leaving our sick fur babies but after meeting Taylor I knew I picked the right sitter. While we were gone, she was able to give my difficult to medicate kitty her meds. She spent quality time with kitty and was super punctual (We needed punctuality because of medication timing). She’s definitely warm and loving and treating my fur baby like it was her own. She sent pictures every day and communicated every single time she came to see my kitty.”

“Kailani was amazing!! She is so kind and she was intentional with her time while visiting our pets! Our cats warmed up to her right away and we could tell she was spending quality time with them to ensure they felt loved and entertained. We got so many cute pictures and updates while on our trip and are so thankful we chose Kailani to watch our pets!”

“Samantha was a hit with Mulder when they first met! I saw how he immediately accepted Samantha. It gave me peace of mind while we were away for an extended period of time. We have your number Samantha and we will call you again when needed. Thank you!”

“Katherine is absolutely wonderful! She was very responsive and reliable. I also appreciate that she would grab our packages if we had any sitting and bring them in. I will absolutely schedule care with Katherine again in the future!”

“This was our first time using a pet sitter instead of traditional boarding. It was an amazing experience and we will 100% do pet sitting again in the future. Cassia always gave detailed reports after her visits and we got lots of photos each time which was a huge plus. Our cat seemed much happier when we returned home this time vs our last trip when we boarded him. Cassia was absolutely amazing and we are thrilled to have found her!”

About: What sets me apart is a lifetime of hands-on experience with dogs. I’ve been around dogs since I was two years old and have spent years caring for dogs of all breeds, sizes, ages, and temperaments. About: I’ve been caring for dogs for over 6 years, including my own three pups. One of my dogs lived to 17, so I have plenty of senior dog care experience. I’ve taken all my dogs through puppy training classes, where both owners and puppies learn proper training techniques. I’ve also provided dog walking and sitting services for neighbors, giving me a well-rounded understanding of various dog personalities and needs. Dogs have always been a big part of my life, and I love giving them the care and attention they deserve! As a part time cast member at Walt Disney World, I have a flexible schedule. Your pet's well-being is my top priority, and I’m open to following your instructions to create a loving environment just as you would.
About: As a lifelong dog lover, I've cared for dogs of all sizes, including the small dogs I grew up with to my current large dog who is leash reactive. Managing a reactive dog has given me valuable experience with training, patience, and recognizing stress signals before they escalate. I know how important it is to trust the person caring for your pet, and I strive to provide a safe, positive, and understanding environment where every dog can feel comfortable and cared for. My work in the transportation industry gives me blocks of days off, during which I'm fully available for pet care services. On those days, I can dedicate my time to dog walks, drop-in visits, and house sitting, ensuring your pet receives plenty of attention, exercise, and care while you're away. When caring for your pets in your home, I make it a priority to follow all care instructions exactly as provided, including feeding schedules, exercise routines, medications, training preferences, and any special needs. I know how important consistency is for pets and I strive to keep their routine as normal and comfortable as possible. I also treat every home with the utmost respect by keeping it clean, secure, and well cared for while I'm there. My goal is to provide peace of mind, knowing that both your pet and your home are in good hands.

Pet parents share their Rover experiences - Lake Buena Vista
This was my 2nd time booking with Nicole and everything went great! I didn’t expect anything less. I will continue to book with her whenever I’m in need and she is available. I appreciate knowing that my babies are in good care when I leave. I love to see the Rover cards with all the wonderful photos and the descriptions of the visits. If you are looking for quality care, Nicole is the sitter for you!!!! :)

Kat is the best! She is super attentive and wonderful at communicating when things come up. She was great at adapting to the two cats’ different personalities and needs to make sure they both got the best possible care and attention. The daily photos and updates that come with them are always appreciated and make missing our fur babies a little easier. It really puts me at ease to know the cats are so well-cared for when I can’t be there! Kat is a star!

My niece used to watch my cat and she’s moving away so I had to find a sitter for her and I was very anxious about it. Sarah came over and did a meet and greet, was very kind and my cat didn’t run and hide from her which was a great sign. She too great care of my cat and sent pics and kept me updated. It was huge relief! I would recommend Sarah and use her again!

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
