I work remotely, which allows me to be flexible and present throughout the day. I’m able to schedule drop-ins, feedings, playtime, and check-ins around my work, so pets receive consistent attention. At home, I schedule myself around a “Pomodoro Method” and include 5-10 minutes of playtime with my cat when I need a break.

When I’m caring for pets in your home, my goal is to make everything feel as normal and comforting as possible for them. I stick closely to their usual routine so they feel safe and at ease in their own home. I also treat your home with the same respect I would my own, keeping things clean and giving you regular updates. At home, I keep a calm, cozy environment for my own cat. I never use the “big light” and the TV is always kept on a quiet level for her. I will turn on the CatTV when I get busy with my work as well.

A typical day
When I am watching your dog, I would most likely take them on a walk around the neighborhood or a trail if allowed. They would get a lot of TLC and love! I would most likely tell them about my day as well so we can get to know each other 😆 We could have supervised outdoor playtime and I would send you lots of picture updates of our adventures! If I am caring for your cat, my goal is to provide a calming and comforting energy so they may feel safe and not afraid. I would try to engage them with their toys, give them treats or we can spend quiet time together if that’s what they prefer. If your cat loves to be brushed, I’m your girl! I’m a little bit shy myself and understand that cats may need their own time to get used to me.

Drop In Availability: Morning: 6a-9a; Evening: 6p-10p Dog Walk Availability: Morning: 6a-9a; Evening: 6p-9p I grew up with two Mastiffs, so I understand the importance of structure, patience, and making pets feel loved. I truly thought of Brutus and Khan (my mastiffs) like my brothers. Brutus and Khan were afraid of the thunderstorms so I learned from a young age how to comfort them. Over the years, I’ve cared for dogs, cats, a reptile and some farm animals. I truly enjoy getting to know each pet and animal’s personality. I’m comfortable administering medications, including pills, powders, and injections, and I always follow care instructions closely to keep your pet’s routine consistent. As someone who works remotely, I’m reliable, communicative, and able to give your pet the time and attention they need. I treat every pet like they’re my own, creating a calm, loving environment so you can feel completely at ease while you’re away.

Heather has watched my two cats Harper and Lincoln over the course of a few years, and she has always been caring, responsible, and attentive to their needs whenever I’m away from home! She follows all of my instructions, makes sure they are comfortable, takes great care of their space, including cleaning the litter box when needed, and keeps me updated with texts and photos so I always know they are happy and well cared for.
