About: I’ve owned seniors dogs, puppies and everything in between. Jack Russell Terrier to English Mastiff. I’ve also owned cats with diabetes that required insulin daily, neurotic quirky animals we’ve had to adapt to, chickens, goats, sheep, bearded dragons and other reptiles. We are an active family and Hilo goes most places with us. However, there are times he must stay home in his covered kennel or inside depending on weather. We enjoy the rhythm of our daily routines just as much as all of our animals. To keep it humming everyone works in concert sharing the load of responsibilities.

About: I’m an experienced pet owner and have cared for my own dog for 13 years now. Along with dogs I have owned/cared for cats, rats, and lizards. When I was younger I worked on a farm and developed a deep love for animals. I live a very active lifestyle and would be stoked to take your pet out for walks, runs, hikes, and beach day swimming! I have a large vehicle which has easy transportation for bigger dogs. I take the time to establish a genuine connection with your pet and want to foster a bond built on mutual understanding and respect. Having trust from you and your pet is an important relationship to have. I want you to be sure that your furry loved one and your home is being taken care of in the safest and best way possible for you. I am a full time worker and van-lifer. My home is on wheels which makes it easy to move around to meet your home sitting needs. My normal work week is Monday-Friday in Capitola. I’m not able to host animals in my home. Coming to your home is the best option, and making your pet feel safe and comfortable is #1!

About: I took care of dogs since I was 8. My family taught me how to make sure the dogs are fed, given water, administering oral medications, walking; etc. I also house trained my current dog. I’m currently working part-time so I’ll have plenary of free time on my plate. I usually work in the evenings. Sometimes I get called to work when needed I take my dog out for 30-45 minute walk twice a day, gave her chew brush biscuit after each walking sessions. I checked her bowl once or twice a day to ensure her water and foods are there for her to eat. I also brush Claire’s hair once a day.

About: I love animals of all kinds: dogs, cats, geckos, etc. My kids have left home and I have the time to care for your sweet fur-babies. I work from home 3 days a week and can easily help with your pet care needs on those days and on any given weekend. I offer pet walking, potty breaks, feeding, socializing, boarding and very limited grooming (brushing if needed). Your pet stays in the room with me as I work and we go for walks or into the yard as instructed by you.

About: I used to be a part of “Guide Dogs for the Blind.” You were pre screened, trained, and I had dogs overnight. It was very rewarding! I have 2 medium sized dogs as well. I have time for pet care as I am working a part time job that only takes up 4-6 hours of the day. I LOVE getting my steps in along West Cliff and having a companion for the walk is always a plus! I am free on weekends too and am willing to set scheduled times for walking or house check ups. I’ve had dogs since I was young and am very familiar with this care. I have also lived with 2 cats and loved learning the care techniques for cats as well! I love animals and always want the best for the animals and owners requests!

About: I've walked dogs in the summer for families in my neighborhood. It brings me joy and I'm excited to help the people of Santa Cruz I work 30 hours so looking to fill up to a 40 hour work week. Doing a few times a week will add extra hours and would love to fill it with dogs I will always gain there trust first. Then move on to lots of play and snuggles. About: Animals feel our energy and respond accordingly. I am truly an animal lover. My first dog was a West Highland White Terrier which lived to be 18 years old. She was a happy girl. Each animal, loved one, should be treated with love and care. I am currently available for dog waking seven days a week. I have 5 years professional pet sitting experience and I been a dog mom to large dogs for 10+ years. Brian has been a dog parent to large dogs for 30 years. We are always the person that my friends, co-workers and neighbors come to when their dogs or cats need care. We both love spending time outside in nature, hiking, and keeping an active lifestyle your pet will enjoy. We do not own any pets, so we are always looking forward to having new companions to welcome into our home. We love to take dogs outside to explore nature, play a game of fetch, beach romps, and redwoods hikes. We are experienced with dogs from puppies to elders, especially with senior dogs. We can’t wait to meet you and your best friend! We are available for long weekends and most holidays. Our guest dogs stay, nap and play in an open environment. We want to know what would make a fun and happy stay for your dog. We live in the fog belt along the coast so it stays nice and cool here when its hot everywhere else. Your dog's sleeping arrangement: We to keep your dogs patterns as close to the way they are at home as possible. If your dog sleeps in their own bed or crate we will honor that. Typically their bed is in our room or the living room. We allow dogs on our bed, and have a dedicated dog couch so they can relax in the living room and are treated like a member of the family. My partner Brian’s schedule has recently changed so we can only board weekends, or possibly over a long weekend: We can take a Friday evening drop off at 5pm earliest, and can schedule a Monday morning pickup until 10 am or so. We live in a quiet, low-traffic beach neighborhood of Aptos, with a front and back fenced in yard, a two minute walk to a dog friendly beach, and 5 minute drive to a redwoods state park. The backyard is shared with my awesome neighbor who own a dog. The backyard has a fence that is split down the middle, and he is kept on his side of the fence. He is only let outside occasionally, under supervised conditions. We do not allow guests dogs into the backyard when he is present, until we have had time to properly introduce them. He is friendly, but we always take care to introduce dogs. Our front yard has a low fence so our guest dogs are only allowed in the front yard under supervision, the backyard has a much higher fence, and we have a sliding glass door so they can go outside easily. We can crate your dog if needed. Both yards have shade, flower gardens, and are wonderful places to take a nap in the sun.

About: I’ve had dogs since I was born , my household always has pets around so it is second nature to me to take care of them. I have experience with dogs with health problems , senior dogs , puppies , and all sorts of doggies am a student and looking to do something that I love . Currently I am the mother of a 5 month old German Shorthaired Pointer and have grown fond of walking her and would like to expand my passion and skills to other doggies. Please contact me to schedule walks , play dates , dog sittings etc . I have reliable transportation so punctuality will never be an issue. I have just one dog and she is okay with having other dogs around. I do not have experience with cats. My dog is teething at the moment so I have no issue with teething pups as I myself am dealing and managing it.

About: I’m an animal lover! I love all animals! I have had 2 bunny’s when I was younger and I have a little maltese dog named Marlin. I’ve had him for about 7 years and I adore him so much. Animals are my favorite, I love hanging out with them and playing with them. I have a part-time job so I do have free time to help out in anyway I can and take care of your cute animals! I make sure my dog has plenty of water before I leave for any reason and make sure he gets fed on time. I make sure he gets plenty of attention and love! I will do the same for yours!!
