âOnce again, Natalia did a great job of taking care of our little kitty. On our trip, we didnât have to stress about her being lonely. Weâre so thankful that we found a great sitter who goes above and beyond!â

âIt goes to show how passionately focused you are, since you noticed she slows down at the end of her walk. I noticed that too. She is 9 years old and I do not walk her enough. Thank you so very much for caring for her as detailed as you do. Because of that I never hesitate to reach out and ask for your help. LuCee absolutely loves her time with you!!â

âMy dog loves Rhonda. She gives her exactly the care she needs as a senior 17 year old dog who doesn't like toys or balls. She gives her belly rubs and a nice walk. Quin is so happy when Rhonda cares for her!â

âIsabella did a great job with my cats as my regular sitter was unavailable. Iâll be giving Isabella more opportunities in the future and would Highly recommend.â

About: Hi! My name is Angela, and I understand how important it is to know your pets are safe, loved, and comfortable while youâre away. I have experience caring for pets in their own homes and believe that remaining in a familiar environment helps reduce stress and anxiety for many animals. Iâve previously provided overnight pet sitting for multiple clients and enjoy creating a calm, consistent routine that keeps pets happy while their families are away. As a healthcare professional, reliability, communication, and attention to detail are a big part of who I am. Whether your pet needs walks, playtime, medications, feeding schedules, or simply companionship, I will treat them with the same care and respect I would want for my own pets. I am the proud owner of two cats and understand that every animal has their own personality, preferences, and needs. I enjoy spending quality time with both dogs and cats and will keep you updated with messages and photos so you can relax knowing your pets are in good hands. I look forward to meeting you and your furry family members! I work full-time Monday through Friday, but I am available for weekend house sitting and pet care. If you are located in Viroqua or La Crosse, I may also be available for weekday house sitting and pet care. When caring for your pets, I follow their normal routines as closely as possible to help them feel comfortable and secure. I provide regular updates, photos, and communication so you can enjoy your time away knowing your pets are well cared for. I primarily provide care in my clientsâ homes because I believe pets are happiest and most relaxed in their familiar environment. I take time to learn your petâs routine, feeding schedule, medications, exercise needs, and preferences. As a healthcare professional, I value reliability, attention to detail, and clear communication. My goal is to provide safe, compassionate care while treating your home and pets with the utmost respect.

About: I really enjoy taking care of my own and my family and friendsâ pets. I connect with animals easily and feel good in their presence. I am currently taking care of my aging dog Bilka. Iâm not teaching during the summer months and have a lot of availability in July and August. I can pet sit on weekdays and on weekends. I have a fenced in yard where my dog can roam around. My cat does not go outside but has comfortable spaces in the house to sleep or watch what happens outside through the windows. I will follow your safety rules to keep your pet safe and well.
About: I have been caring for animals for several years now and can't get enough of it. Animals have a special place in my heart because of how genuine they are. I've never been more loved than by a dog and never experienced more truth than from a cat! I am available all day every day to look after your pets. My schedule is very flexible and easily accommodating. I've got all the time in the world to hang out and give attention to your pets! Any pet that walks in my house gets plenty of love and affection. This extends to pets I'm looking after in other locations as well. I have no shortage of love for animals!
About: I have pet sat a handful of times for family and friends, and grew up surrounded by farm animals of all kinds! I canât wait to meet your pet! I am an elementary teacher who has the summers off! I am currently available all hours of the day to care for your pets, whether that is giving snuggles or going for a walk! My fiancĂŠ and I have two kitties, both 1 year old, Clay and Aussie! We love to spoil them. They are highly exposed to other people, children, they travel in the car with us, and have been exposed to other animals! We have a fenced in yard where we take our kitties outside to explore. Iâd love to care for your pets the same way we care for ours!
About: Empty nester, retired, and happy to share my home with your pup. We had a wonderful pup for 17.5 years and sadly he passed over the rainbow bridge about three years ago. I know how important it is to have a good home for your pet when you are out of town. Iâd be happy to give lots of walks, belly rubs and love! I have a fenced yard but prefer to walk dogs for potty breaks. Experienced with senior pups. I am an early retiree and have remained active, however, have the time to care for a dog. I take walks regularly twice a day so itâs easy to fit dog walking in my routine I have a fenced yard and a large home. I do not allow dogs on my furniture but am happy to play and lay with them on the floor.

âSara did a great job with our boys. Theo's shots (diabetic) can be a bit intimidating, at first, and she handled them beautifully. In addition, Louie is quite wary of new people and by mid-week his photos show that he's comfortable enough to come out and supervise what she was doing. We'll undoubtedly be booking future visits and would absolutely recommend Sara to anyone who's looking for a reliable, caring sitter!â

About: Iâve always had a dog in my home and help cared for them since I was born. Iâve helped raised puppies and cared for senior dogs! Back home for college without an internship so I have almost the entirety of July and the beginning of August off to house and pet sit! I canât keep your pets at my house but I love playing and going on walks but Iâm also happy to care for more mellow or elderly dogs!
About: Growing up with two dogs and a kitten sparked my lifelong love for animals. While Iâm not yet in a position to adopt a pet of my own, my partner and I both grew up surrounded by furry friends and deeply miss the snuggles, walks, and unconditional love we shared with them back in our hometown. Caring for your pets would be a wonderful way for us to fill that space and share our love for animals! My partner and I both work full-time in professional roles Monday through Friday, but my workplace is conveniently close to home. This allows me the flexibility to take lunches and breaks as needed, ensuring I can meet your pet care needs with reliability and attention. I currently donât have any pets in my apartment, but I live in a pet-friendly home with a backyard (unfenced) and easy access to nearby trails for walks, if thatâs something your pet enjoys. Iâm very relaxed when it comes to pet preferencesâpets are welcome on furniture and even in bed with me! Iâm happy to be flexible and follow your specific directions to ensure your pet feels right at home.
About: I have been around dogs since I can remember, and absolutely adore them. I have a big baby of a German shepherd and two cats at home! Pet parents share their Rover experiences - La Crosse
I absolutely loved my booking with Cecilia. As someone whoâs afraid to leave their fury behind with anyone in general⌠Cecilia made me feel comfortable, she checked with me and sent me cute photos to show my babies were all good being taken care of! She was super diligent and efficient with her time at my place. She cared for my kitties and I definitely would rebook again with Cecilia!

We hired Maya to give our dogs a potty break while my husband and I were out for the day, and she was absolutely wonderful! It gave us such peace of mind knowing our pups werenât stuck inside all day. Maya was prompt, reliable, and kind. Highly recommend her if youâre looking for someone trustworthy and caring with your pets.

Yes, you can find sitters who have experience administering medication or managing dietary requirements. You can also find pet sitters who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and request a Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
