About: Until college, I had never lived in a home without a dog. And from a young age, I was taught everything I need to know about caring for them. Between my parents, we currently have five dogs, a cat, and four guinea pigs. My siblings and I have been working hard for years to care for our fur-babies, and I can’t wait to meet yours! I have work every weekday from 8am to 5pm, so I can’t work on weekdays, but I am completely free on weekends to care for your pup! During weekdays, my schedule limits my communication, which is why I offer same day booking and cancellation for the weekends! I can’t imagine a better way to spend my Saturday and Sunday! Back home, I care for all five dogs differently, based on their breed and personality. Our oldest mutt needs constant brushing, our golden retriever needs weekly shaving, our terrier needs to be leashed when outside, our labrador needs her thunder shirt for storms, and our chihuahua needs training to be friendlier to guests. I am prepared for all kinds of pups!

I have been surrounded by animals + cats alike my entire life. I currently own two big dogs (Pitbull +Aussie) + one small dog (Shih Tzu) and a cat! After work I am able to give your pet some exercise whether that is a walk or playing with some toys after work. For house-sitting/ drop ins- I am a firm believer that following a similar routine to what the owner (you) follows will give your pet the least stressful experience possible. I will stick to your potty schedule for your animal as well as feeding. As for exercise, I am up to whatever your dog or cat prefers! I can go for walks, play fetch, provide enrichment with feeding time or play with toys. I am always willing to go to nearby park with your pup if preferred! About: Empty nester, retired, and happy to share my home with your pup. We had a wonderful pup for 17.5 years and sadly he passed over the rainbow bridge about three years ago. I know how important it is to have a good home for your pet when you are out of town. I’d be happy to give lots of walks, belly rubs and love! I have a fenced yard but prefer to walk dogs for potty breaks. Experienced with senior pups. I am an early retiree and have remained active, however, have the time to care for a dog. I take walks regularly twice a day so it’s easy to fit dog walking in my routine I have a fenced yard and a large home. I do not allow dogs on my furniture but am happy to play and lay with them on the floor.

I have hiked parts of the Appalachian Trail and Superior Trail, spent weeks camping, and done countless outdoor adventures. I hike rain or shine! Choosing me you can be sure your canine companion will have a safe, fun, enriching experience in the outdoors. I'm currently in college so I am available after class which is most days after 12pm. After 2pm I am available for long hikes and walks. In addition, I take my dog on a 30 to 40 min walk at 5pm and available to take additional dogs with us. I take safety with the utmost seriousness. When going on hiking trails I ensure that I bring a pet first aid kit with me, collapsible water, and a spare leash for emergencies. I also have a vet hotline on speed dial as well as two local vets saved in my phone. In addition if we are traveling anywhere by car I will ensure the dog is safely transported as I own a variety of dog seat belts and car seats.

walkers on Rover set their own cancellation policy , which you can find on their profile under their contact information. Sitters may set a same-day, one-, three-, or seven-day cancellation policy. Cancelling within your sitter’s cancellation policy qualifies you for a full refund.
Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement walker.
