“Michael is an excellent sitter. My dog Patch is glad to see Michael and he has no issues when I leave the house. When I come back Patch is relaxed and not hyper or anxious. Michael takes care of my Patch like it was his. Lots of butt scratches and belly rubs!! The pictures and videos he sends are so sweet and reassuring. I recommend him without reservation ! And my house is in order!!! Thank you Michael. 👍”

“Natalia was wonderful. She spent a lot of quality time with our Lily - much more than other sitters we have had in the past - and kept us updated frequently. From her updates, you could tell that Natalia was really giving Lily her full attention because her descriptions of Lily's activities included all those little quirks that you would only know by being attentive. Lily took to Natalia right away when usually she is a little skeptical of new people. We came home to a relaxed, happy dog. We would highly recommend Natalia.”

“Daniel took fantastic care of our pups and our home. He was very responsive and sent pictures of his outdoor adventures with the dogs each day. We look forward to working with him again in the future!”

“Luke was great with Ellie! And was great at sending photos of their time together. I always stress leaving her behind so his communication was very helpful in keeping my stress at bay.”

About: I have several years of experience caring for dogs of all ages, from energetic puppies to sweet seniors. Ive dealt with multiple dogs at once, all with different personalities. From shy, energetic, to reactive. I have done everything from daily walks, to overnight stays for clients. Handling the different routines. Another plus is that I grew up fostering dogs, so I have experience with a lot of different breeds creating a very patient and observant demeanor. I am currently working part-time and looking for some extra work. My availability is pretty flexible as long as you are as well! I can either do stop by's for walks once a day, or a multiple day care schedule, with 2-4 hours of being out of the house. I'd love to chat and work something out! When I’m caring for pets in their own home, I focus on keeping their routine as normal and stress-free as possible. I follow your instructions closely — feeding schedules, walk times, medications, crate routines, and any house rules. I always make sure pets have fresh water, plenty of bathroom breaks, and safe, supervised time outside. I spend quality time with each pet, whether that means playing, training practice, gentle cuddles, or just giving them company so they don’t feel alone. It is all about respect and I respect your home also respect your home, treating your space the same way I’d want mine treated.
“Erin was amazing! I needed a last-minute sitter and she came through—I’m so glad she did. My dog, Tatum, has been struggling with anxiety lately, and Erin was incredibly understanding and patient with him. She listened to everything I asked, communicated clearly, was very timely, and handled Tatum (and my other pets!) with such care. I’d definitely ask her to watch him again!”

“Brooke did an excellent job! Checked in with us numerous times. Sent us pictures several times. Would highly recommend her. Will definitely use her again! Super sweet young lady! Thank you for your excellent care of our fur baby!!”

“Mara is absolutely amazing. She is caring to a fault, very professional, responsive and dependable. We left our kitty and pup with her for the weekend where Mara house sat for us, and they were happy, exercised, and loved on. It made our first trip away from our pets easy and stress-free. Thank you for all you do!”

“Lacey was the perfect housesitter plus more! She was so great with our pets and went above and beyond to keep our home together while we were away, including some household cleaning we didn’t ask for, but deeply appreciated. It was so relieving to come home to a home that was cleaner than when we left it! We will 💯 check with Lacey the next time we need care. 10/10 recommend!”

About: Growing up with two dogs and a kitten sparked my lifelong love for animals. While I’m not yet in a position to adopt a pet of my own, my partner and I both grew up surrounded by furry friends and deeply miss the snuggles, walks, and unconditional love we shared with them back in our hometown. Caring for your pets would be a wonderful way for us to fill that space and share our love for animals! My partner and I both work full-time in professional roles Monday through Friday, but my workplace is conveniently close to home. This allows me the flexibility to take lunches and breaks as needed, ensuring I can meet your pet care needs with reliability and attention. I currently don’t have any pets in my apartment, but I live in a pet-friendly home with a backyard (unfenced) and easy access to nearby trails for walks, if that’s something your pet enjoys. I’m very relaxed when it comes to pet preferences—pets are welcome on furniture and even in bed with me! I’m happy to be flexible and follow your specific directions to ensure your pet feels right at home.

La Crosse pet parents share their Rover experiences
Our experience with Samantha was overall amazing! The day before we were due to travel, one of our cats got very sick and our travel day was actually spent taking her to an emergency vet. We didn’t know when/if we would be traveling, but Samantha was super communicative and understanding through all of the uncertainty/changing plans. We ended up cancelling our trip, but we would love to work with Samantha again in the future. One of our cats is very skittish around new people, but she let Samantha pet her quite quickly so I was grateful to find someone Baby Grace was comfortable with.

Luke is the best! He takes such great care of our kiddos. He sends pictures and videos of their cuteness, and doesn't hesitate to reach out with questions. The house always looks great when we get home. Luke is very conscientious. Even our shy cat is very comfortable around Luke!

Paige was amazing from start to finish. She was quick to respond to our request and open to come for a meet and greet so our pets would know her prior to her staying with them. She sent pictures daily with updates and even celebrated our dog's birthday with him while we were gone by getting him a birthday hat. We came home to happy pets and an incredibly clean home. We will definitely be reaching out to Paige with any pet sitting needs in the future.
