“Sonya has taken care of my 60lb rescue a couple times while I was on vacation and I highly recommend her services! She kept me updated a couple times a day to keep me at ease, which I really appreciated. My dog came back very happy and tired out with all the walks she took him on. She is very gentle and friendly with all dogs and gives them a happy place to stay while the owner is gone!”

About: I've had dogs my whole life. Puppies, seniors, and special needs are all things I have experience with and am comfortable watching in my home. I regularly pet sit for friends and decided I should expand my offerings! I do work full time, however I live pretty close to my work and am able to come home at lunch for quick potty breaks. I work an early schedule, so afternoons and weekends would be all about your dog! I have a ranch home and a fenced yard. Very flat for senior or special needs dogs. Fenced yard for all to enjoy! Unfortunately, my dog recently passed away, but this is the perfect opportunity for those who may prefer to be the only dog in the home! When I have watched friends dogs in the past, I have left them to roam free in the home and I have cameras to be able to keep an eye while I am at work. I do have a large crate, if that is what your dog needs/prefers.
13. Alexandra M.
“Alex was amazing! She gave me frequent updates on how things were going (including pix) while I was away for the weekend and offered a great amount of schedule flexibility. I could tell Leinie liked her and would highly recommend her to other dog parents.”
14. Cassie S.
About: Hello and nice to meet you! My name is Cassie. I am a Pet sitter/Dog walker currently aspiring to become a veterinarian. I graduated undergrad in May of ‘23 with a bachelor of science in biology and minors in music and microbiology. I have shadowed veterinarians, worked in a vet clinic, volunteered in the dog unit of an animal shelter, and I work as an animal control officer and part time as a member of the shelter’s medical team. I own an almost 4 year old cat and my family has 2 Irish Setters. I have owned pocket pets before and I have experience with them (guinea pigs and hamsters). I have grown up with dogs and have experience with litters of puppies as well. My Irish Setter has had 3 litters with which I helped socialize, supplement, potty train and ensure a healthy whelping. I am good with cleaning up messes if needed and I can administer medications as well including, but not limited to sub Q fluids. I frequently take my two dogs on walks when I visit my parents ensuring they are properly leashed and my volunteer experience has taught me the proper handling techniques in order to do so. Lastly, having owned pets myself, I understand animal behavior to the extent of understanding the animal's needs or mood. Being fear free certified helps me to understand factors in eliminating and reducing fear and stress in animals to make them the most at home. I do work full time, but luckily I have an amazing job that provides lots of flexibility. Parts of my shifts or all of my shifts are on-call which allows me to spend more time with pets even if I do work. Potty breaks and socialization would be able to happen frequently with minimal conflicts! I respect the boundaries setup in others’ homes and have the sole interest of keeping your pet happy, comfortable and well looked after. I treat them as I would my own pets.
