About: I have a large extended family and I have been everybody's go to pet sitter since I was in highschool. I especially fell in love with animal care when I stayed with my aunt's elderly cat for 4 months. He had such personality and required special medicine. I often took care of my employer's dog and bunny when she was out of town. More recently I have begun to watch friends dogs and cats or run to their homes for emergency potty breaks when they've gotten stuck at work. My schedule is limited because I work in retail full time. My schedule is not the same every day. I typically work 9 to 5:30, but some days may deviate. If your animal is unable to be left alone for at least 4 hours at a time, I may not be the best fit for you. I am unable to provide care in my home as I live in a small apartment. I can take care of all your pets needs in your home and am happy to follow any directions and special requests.

Since moving out I have owned and helped train multiple working dogs, including the pointer I have now. I have no problem administering medications if needed. Our canine guests will receive lots of love and attention! They will be welcome in our house if well-behaved, and treated like one of the family during their stay. We back up to mikes of hiking trails for walks and runs always on leash. We walk 3-4 times a day or as often as match the home life of our guests. They are cared for in our home and integrated into being cared for as part of our family with 2 little welcoming fur babies.

About: Growing up with a variety of animals really gave me the compassion and love I have for animals now. Also, it gave me the skill I need to be able to take care of and provide for the different species of animals there are out there. Mostly, it was dogs and cats but I do have experience in caring for hamsters and bunnies. I love to go walking/hiking just to be outside and getting fresh air so i have no problem going on walks. About: Until college, I had never lived in a home without a dog. And from a young age, I was taught everything I need to know about caring for them. This summer I also work part-time at Festival. During the school year, I have Fridays off and I am done by 5:30pm the other days. On Mondays and Wednesdays I have slower mornings. I can help out throughout the day and on weekends. I live in an apartment building but there is an area with lots of grass and next to the building and around the area. My building doesn’t allow pets so I am not able to house pets at my place, but I can always talk to my landlord.

About: Empty nester, retired, and happy to share my home with your pup. We had a wonderful pup for 17.5 years and sadly he passed over the rainbow bridge about three years ago. I know how important it is to have a good home for your pet when you are out of town. I’d be happy to give lots of walks, belly rubs and love! I have a fenced yard but prefer to walk dogs for potty breaks. Experienced with senior pups. I am an early retiree and have remained active, however, have the time to care for a dog. I take walks regularly twice a day so it’s easy to fit dog walking in my routine I have a fenced yard and a large home. I do not allow dogs on my furniture but am happy to play and lay with them on the floor.

He doesn't spend a lot of time around other dogs and recently was attacked while walking, so I was initially worried about how he would do with their dogs, but theirs are well trained and he fit into the pack quite easily, it seems. They understood his caution, given what he had been through, and they undertook appropriate precautions when exposing him to their dogs and others. In general, it seemed like a good experience for everyone and he made a couple more dog friends! I will definitely be a return (and repeat) customer.”
