“Ty was an amazing host to my two pups. He sent pictures and communication throughout the visit. My dog Cinnamon doesn’t like new people and took to Ty immediately ❤️”

“Laura took wonderful care of our Moose! She went above and beyond what I had hoped for. He got to sleep with her kids, play with her dogs, go for walks, and I received lots of pictures and updates. I couldn’t ask for a better pet sitter!! She also wrote up a little summary of his stay at the end, noting some of my dog’s behaviors that I will be addressing with a dog trainer, which I hadn’t observed before and was glad to know about! I appreciate Laura and her family very much.”

“Our cat Buddy stayed with Angela and her family for 4 days. Although Buddy is known for hiding away when with strangers, he was very comfortable with Angela’s family right from the start and I have pictures of him snuggling with them 🩷 I will definitely be asking Angela to pet sit for Buddy again in the future!”

“Jenny was the best sitter I’ve ever met on Rover, hands down! She gave me regular updates about my pup and sent me tons of photos. I never needed to worry about my dog; Jenny always made sure I knew how he was doing. Will absolutely book her again!!”

“Susan was the perfect sitter for my Shiba Inu! She took good care of him, took him on multiple walks, and even baked him dog treats! Plus she’s a delightful person who’s easy to coordinate with. I can’t recommend her highly enough!!!”

“Jared was very helpful and accommodating. Princess was well taken care of and had a lot of cuddles from everyone in the family. I will contact again next time I need a sitter for Princess!”

“Ty did a great job taking care of my dog, Jackson. He was always quick to respond and sent regular updates with photos. Jackson has been dealing with hip pain and limping, and Ty was especially attentive to this, keeping me informed throughout his 3-night stay. Highly recommend!”

“Having Christine watch our little furbabys while we were gone was a blessing its the first time in 2 years we left them home alone and yet i know with Christine watching them they got lots of loving care, i loved the photos and video updates of our kitties.”

“We had such a wonderful experience and couldn’t recommend Faith more! She took amazing care of our babies while we were away and gave us so much peace of mind knowing they were in good hands. She was incredibly attentive, reliable, and clearly took the time to get to know their little personalities and routines. We loved getting updates and photos while we were gone, and it was obvious our cats felt comfortable and well cared for. We came home to two very happy kitties and everything in perfect shape. We would absolutely book with her again! ❤️🐾”

About: I have taken care of my black cat, Kitty for 4 years and my other two cats, Whiskers and Oreo for 2 years. Kitty always tells me when to back off and I do because they deserve personal space too. Whiskers and Oreo are quite affectionate, so I do my best in giving them all the pets they deserve. When I met one of my friend's cat, they were skittish of me since I was a new person to them. So I took my time with them by letting them approach me first and sniff my hand. I made sure not to give direct eye contact towards them since that will make them nervous. I also talked in a soft tone so my friend's cat doesn't get scared by me. It took a bit of time, but my friend's cat let me pet them, which I was very happy to do. It made me feel special. I believe I'm adaptable to how I should approach cats when I first meet them.
About: I have taken care of dogs of all stages over the years and I am equipped to care for animals of every age. Most recently my dogs have entered senior status so I have lots of experience providing the care they need, but I am experienced with caring for puppies and adolescent animals as well. I am a student at UWL so I have a fairly flexible schedule. During the week my schedule varies with my class schedule but Thursday through Sunday I am most available, which is perfect for weekends away! I am unable to house animals in my home due to my landlord not allowing pets, so I will treat your animals and your home in a safe and respectful manner. I have pet-sat and babysat numerous times so I am a trustworthy and reliable source that will treat your pets with the care they need and deserve!

“Rhonda was fantastic! We needed a cat sitter on short notice and turned to the Rover app for the first time—so glad we found her. She responded quickly and was happy to help. We met beforehand and she was so friendly and easy to talk to. While we were away, she kept in great contact, sent us adorable pictures, and clearly took wonderful care of our cat, Q. He warmed up to her and trusts her, which says a lot! We couldn’t have asked for a better experience and will definitely book her again.”

“Sara was amazing. She was on schedule which was important for my Shadow’s medication. She also left me notes and pictures on how my cats were doing and gave them some love that they so appreciated. I really appreciated her taking the time to take care of my fur babies.”

“She sent us photos every day and I could tell my cat loved her! She kept the house clean and followed instruction very well. Her rates are also super reasonable. I would definitely ask Eliza to watch Skyrim again!”

Now that my home is a bit quieter, I have a wealth of love, patience, and attention to share with your dog while you are away. Why Choose Me? Lifetime of Experience: I have over 40 years of experience living with and caring for dogs. Senior Dog Care: Having loved three dogs through their entire lives, I am highly comfortable with senior care, gentle pacing, and keeping strict medication and feeding schedules. During the week, my schedule allows me to easily plan my day around a dog's needs. I am always home for dedicated morning, late afternoon, and evening care. Because my routine is highly structured, I can guarantee regular potty breaks, timely feedings, and medication administration on a strict schedule. My late afternoons, evenings, and weekends are wide open and entirely dedicated to pet care. Whether that means going for relaxed neighborhood walks, playing in the yard, or just offering quiet companionship on the couch, your dog will be a central part of my day. I treat guest dogs like family, fitting them seamlessly into a warm, attentive, and loving daily routine. Safety and comfort are my top priorities, whether a dog is staying with me or I am visiting them in their own home. Having raised three dogs of my own, I know how important a secure and predictable environment is for a pet's peace of mind. In My Home: I maintain a calm, dog-friendly, and completely smoke-free environment. Before any stay, I do a thorough safety sweep to ensure all hazards, cords, or human foods are securely out of reach. Dogs in my care are supervised closely, and I follow a strict double-check policy on all doors and gates when entering or exiting. In Your Home: I treat your home with the utmost respect, keeping it secure, clean, and exactly as you left it. During visits or house sits, I stick closely to your security routines (locking doors, arming alarms) and ensure your dog is safely secured inside before I leave. My Care Philosophy: Tailored to the Dog: I strictly adhere to your specific rules regarding furniture, feeding schedules, and crate training to keep their routine seamless. On-Leash Safety: I always keep dogs securely on-leash during walks and remain highly alert to our surroundings and other animals. Constant Communication: I love sending daily photo updates so you can see firsthand how happy, relaxed, and safe your pup is!

About: am a cat owner myself and currently care for two cats with very different personalities and needs. I understand that cats thrive on routine, familiar surroundings, and patient care. My experience includes feeding, litter box maintenance, administering medications when needed, playtime, companionship, and recognizing signs of stress or illness. Whether your cat is social and playful or shy and independent, I will respect their unique personality and ensure they feel safe, comfortable, and cared for while you’re away.

“Sara did a great job with our boys. Theo's shots (diabetic) can be a bit intimidating, at first, and she handled them beautifully. In addition, Louie is quite wary of new people and by mid-week his photos show that he's comfortable enough to come out and supervise what she was doing. We'll undoubtedly be booking future visits and would absolutely recommend Sara to anyone who's looking for a reliable, caring sitter!”

About: I love dogs & have been around them since I was a kid. I previously have fostered dogs and cats for the humane society. This included a reactive dog and a cat with FLV who required medicine every day. I also have my own dog who I love and care for everyday 🥰 I work from home & am self-employed so I have a very flexible schedule. I am available both on weekdays & weekends. I usually prefer to walk dogs in the morning or evening. I am very gentle with animals and usually get them to cooperate with treats, toys, or praise (positive reinforcement). I let them get comfortable with me at their own pace & read their body language to see how they're feeling.
About: I grew up with dogs and have had two dogs of our own for 11 years. We enjoy regular walks around our neighborhood and are experienced in giving vitamins and/or medication daily. I work full-time and am available to make trips home to allow bathroom breaks and home all evenings and weekends. I work full-time in La Crosse and am available in the early afternoons and evenings. Also available for an occasional trip for quick bathroom breaks/walks. My backyard faces a golf course, perfect for a peaceful and relaxing environment. Plenty of space to wander without the worries of lots of traffic or people.

About: I have been house/pet sitting for friends and familt since I was young. My dog, Georgia is cat and dog friendly and we would love to hang out with your little ones and be a safe space for them while you are gone 🤍
“Carlee was fantastic! She did everything we asked for and more. Her report card was very detailed and the photos were great! Her rates are also very reasonable. Our cat loved her! I would rehire Carlee in a heartbeat! Thanks Carlee!”

“Ajia W was wonderful with house and cat sitting on my recent vacation out of the country. She provided good communication through texting and a variety of cat pictures and video making me feel much more at ease. I felt like my cat Turbo warmed up to Ajia quickly and enjoyed the time with her. Ajia took care of my home, mail, did dishes, and even her laundry before my return. I would recommend her for any cat or home care and will use her again on my next trip.”

About: I have a large extended family and I have been everybody's go to pet sitter since I was in highschool. I especially fell in love with animal care when I stayed with my aunt's elderly cat for 4 months. He had such personality and required special medicine. I often took care of my employer's dog and bunny when she was out of town. More recently I have begun to watch friends dogs and cats or run to their homes for emergency potty breaks when they've gotten stuck at work. My schedule is limited because I work in retail full time. My schedule is not the same every day. I typically work 9 to 5:30, but some days may deviate. If your animal is unable to be left alone for at least 4 hours at a time, I may not be the best fit for you. I am unable to provide care in my home as I live in a small apartment. I can take care of all your pets needs in your home and am happy to follow any directions and special requests.

Perfect for high energy dogs - Onalaska
“Angela was excellent with my dog, Vaida! Vaida struggles adjusting to new surroundings, but Angela was a pro with her. Angela provided consistent communication & I was able to stay updated throughout the week. It was great to know Vaida was in good hands.”

“This was my first time using Rover, so I was a little nervous but my overall experience was positive with AJ. We have a 1 year old mixed breed dog that is very playful and happy around pretty much everyone. We met in a park near AJ’s home and he was promptly on time and communicated well. I asked several questions about the plan for the day and everything seemed reasonable to me. For me personally I just wanted someone that would keep my dog active and happy for the afternoon, also sneak in the occasional nap is okay too. When the day was over we met in the park again and (on time) and my dog was happy to see me. Thumbs up!”

“Our Sweet Bella struggles with separation anxiety. We needed to find daycare for her while we were visiting family in La Crescent. Ty did an amazing job at working with her. He was flexible, patient, and did what he could to make her feel comfortable. He kept us informed with how she was doing and was prompt at responding to any messages.”

“Laura has a lovely home, dog heaven. We could tell right away that dogs were the Priority. Cooper just loved their fenced in yard because after we picked him up, he slept for hours exactly what a mini golden doodle puppy needs for all that energy. We highly recommend Laura for pet sitting!”

About: Current doggy daycare employee. I have owned animals all my life. Dogs have always been a passion of mine. I have recently been accepted to a dog trainer school to become a professional dog trainer. I am hoping to get to have as much experience with as many dogs as possible, to make me the best trainer possible. I am available anytime. I work part time from home so my schedule is pretty flexible. If you have any questions on my availability please ask. Thank you! I will care for your pets as if they were my own. I will follow all of the rules and guidelines you set for your animals feeding time and playtime. Plus I will make the experience for the animal as best as it can possibly be.
About: I have always had pets in my home my whole life both dogs and cats I am more of a dog person but I absolutely love caring for all animals and I know how difficult it can be depending on the animal my parents most recent dog was a handful he was in and out of several homes before finding his way to ours because of he’s very energetic and sometimes violent behavior but we turned him to a sweetie with time and good training. At first he was rather aggressive towards me and was very difficult to train because of how long he had gone without training which taught me a lot of tricks to deal with a difficult and aggressive dog. I love this job and I hope your pet will enjoy my company as much as I’ll enjoy theirs. I have bathed dogs helped bathe a cat with flees and I’m down to learn anything if you’ll help show me. I do this full time so I am usually always free to offer the most reliable and consistent pet care experience for your pet and I’m always available unless I’m watching other pets. I’d love to do repeat visits to build a better relationship with you and your pet. I do the absolute best of my ability to ensure that your dog feels safe and happy when with me and I hope after meeting me you’re pet is excited to see me again.
About: At one time, we were breeders of Champion Golden Retrievers, and have raised many a pup, from small to large breeds. From Bernese to Yorkies, we love them all! Our furbabies are a Shorkie and Shih Tzu who are well behaved and make great hosts and playmates! Large pastures and trails on which to walk, so lots of exercise. Our canine guests will receive lots of love and attention! They will be welcome in our house if well-behaved, and treated like one of the family during their stay. We have excellent references from previous guests and do our best to make sure our every guest feels right at home. We follow all care guides given by our guests owners, including giving meds and treats as owner provides us. I or my husband are home with our guest dogs during stays. Our guests get lots of attention and care. We want to care for them as they are used to being cared for at home. We walk 3-4 times a day or as often as match the home life of our guests. They are cared for in our home and integrated into being cared for as part of our family with 2 little welcoming fur babies.

About: Hi ! As I am home for summer , I would love to be able to watch any animals , any size is okay ! I have grown up with large dogs most of my life but I am okay with any size and age. I am a college student athlete at Winona State University going into my Junior year next semester! I am also a nanny in the summers so I am very flexible when it comes to times or days ! I am also a nanny in the summer which means I have can have very flexible hours ! I am also very active, walks, runs etc. I have a fenced in yard and a pool ! But also I have a dog and my mom has a dog they are both loving and will keep your animal company!
About: Growing up with a variety of animals really gave me the compassion and love I have for animals now. Also, it gave me the skill I need to be able to take care of and provide for the different species of animals there are out there. Mostly, it was dogs and cats but I do have experience in caring for hamsters and bunnies. I love to go walking/hiking just to be outside and getting fresh air so i have no problem going on walks. I’m completely comfortable with our furry friends being on my furniture, I know not everybody is but mi casa es su casa. I am a veterinarian technician with my A.A.S. degree and I plan to open up my own business one day whether it be a dog boarding place of my own or my very own shelter/rescue. Either way, this is my 5-10 year goal and his will help me achieve that. I work full time throughout the week. My evenings are available & so are most of my weekends. This month of August will be busy for me on the weekends though. I make sure they are comfortable & I treat them as if they are my own. I make sure they are happy while their person is gone.
“Gilman's experience with Erica was outstanding!! He has tons of energy and she knew how to keep him busy. He was showing some obnoxious behaviors when we got to her house. She was so understanding and just knew how to keep him busy and get him tired out. She shared photos with me through texting which allowed for reassurance on this first time experience for me. I highly recommend Erica and we will be visiting again! Thanks for everything Erica (and all)”

About: I am a Registered Nurse with a deep love for animals and extensive experience in specialized pet care. I currently volunteer at my local animal shelter, where I walk dogs, assist with basic training, and support rescue animals in need. Caring for these shelter animals—and working with pets on Rover—has become a meaningful way for me to channel my grief after my beloved 15-year-old rescue dog, Winnie, recently crossed the rainbow bridge. At home, I also share my life with a sweet 4-year-old rescue tabby cat named Chip. My background in nursing makes me highly comfortable administering medications and injections. Additionally, thanks to my many years of loving Winnie, I am no stranger to senior care, complex medical needs, or the gentle patience required for elderly pets. I have great flexibility throughout the week! I'm available most weekdays and weekends to help take your dog out or drop in to check on your kitty. Last-minute bookings are welcome, provided I have at least 24 hours' notice. While I don't offer boarding in my own home, I specialize in keeping your animals safe, happy, and comfortable in theirs. Whether it's a drop-in visit, a walk, or overnight house sitting, my priority is maintaining your pet's familiar environment to keep stress low. I am committed to building trust through reliable care and clear communication. For your peace of mind, I am fully trained to administer specialized care, including CPR, standard medications, and medical injections, ensuring your furry family members are always in safe hands.
About: Until college, I had never lived in a home without a dog. And from a young age, I was taught everything I need to know about caring for them. Between my parents, we currently have five dogs, a cat, and four guinea pigs. My siblings and I have been working hard for years to care for our fur-babies, and I can’t wait to meet yours! I have work every weekday from 8am to 5pm, so I can’t work on weekdays, but I am completely free on weekends to care for your pup! During weekdays, my schedule limits my communication, which is why I offer same day booking and cancellation for the weekends! I can’t imagine a better way to spend my Saturday and Sunday! Back home, I care for all five dogs differently, based on their breed and personality. Our oldest mutt needs constant brushing, our golden retriever needs weekly shaving, our terrier needs to be leashed when outside, our labrador needs her thunder shirt for storms, and our chihuahua needs training to be friendlier to guests. I am prepared for all kinds of pups!

About: I have taken care of my dogs and cats since the start of high school. I love giving affection to my dogs and cats, including others I have met in person. I used to have a dog that was a senior and improvised ways that I helped them with, like using one of the sofa cushions as a chair my dog could use to go on the bed. Another example was putting pills on a butter knife that had a dab of peanut butter in it and gave it to my senior dog. I'm good at listening to instructions and guidelines that you need for me to take care of your pets. I will also give them space when they tell me. If they're skittish of me, then I'll be patient with them by letting them sniff my hand, not give eye contact at them, crouching down to their level, and talking in a calm tone. I am unemployed, so I have plenty of time to take care of your dogs and/or cats! I will be available Sunday through Thursday unless something comes up in my life of course. I will make sure your doors and gates are locked. I'll do my best in following your schedule in taking care of your pets so they won't be stressed by any sudden changes. I'll make sure to ask any questions on how to take care of your dogs and cats so I won't make any needless mistakes. I will send you photos and text updates of your pets if anything happens and to let you know your pets are happy.
“Jewel did a great job with our dog! Not only did she walk her, she worked on basic obedience training. I love the updates & our dog benefitted from their time together. Would definitely book with Jewel again!”

About: Hi! My name is Angela, and I understand how important it is to know your pets are safe, loved, and comfortable while you’re away. I have experience caring for pets in their own homes and believe that remaining in a familiar environment helps reduce stress and anxiety for many animals. I’ve previously provided overnight pet sitting for multiple clients and enjoy creating a calm, consistent routine that keeps pets happy while their families are away. As a healthcare professional, reliability, communication, and attention to detail are a big part of who I am. Whether your pet needs walks, playtime, medications, feeding schedules, or simply companionship, I will treat them with the same care and respect I would want for my own pets. I am the proud owner of two cats and understand that every animal has their own personality, preferences, and needs. I enjoy spending quality time with both dogs and cats and will keep you updated with messages and photos so you can relax knowing your pets are in good hands. I look forward to meeting you and your furry family members! I work full-time Monday through Friday, but I am available for weekend house sitting and pet care. If you are located in Viroqua or La Crosse, I may also be available for weekday house sitting and pet care. When caring for your pets, I follow their normal routines as closely as possible to help them feel comfortable and secure. I provide regular updates, photos, and communication so you can enjoy your time away knowing your pets are well cared for. I primarily provide care in my clients’ homes because I believe pets are happiest and most relaxed in their familiar environment. I take time to learn your pet’s routine, feeding schedule, medications, exercise needs, and preferences. As a healthcare professional, I value reliability, attention to detail, and clear communication. My goal is to provide safe, compassionate care while treating your home and pets with the utmost respect.

About: I have taken care of my own dog as well as taken family friends dogs on walks and runs. I am currently training for a half marathon, so if your dogs loves long runs or long walks I would love to help them get outside and exercise. I currently am working part time on top of school. Most days I can take dogs on a walk or run in the morning to later afternoon! I currently live in an apartment where pets are not allowed, so for now I will stick to taking dogs on walks and runs whether that’s around a safe neighborhood or at a park.

About: I have fostered close to 50 cats ranging from 3 days old to 19 years old. I have two cats of my own and had a dog for 13 years. I have done many overnight dog sitting stays as well as a few cat sitting stays. I love the outdoors as well and going for walks with dogs is one of my favorite outdoor hobbies! I am a full time college student during the school year, but my summers are spent doing part time jobs so I have extra free time to spend time and care for lots of animals! I have experience with big dogs, little dogs, and cats of all ages and personality types. I love socializing with them and getting some energy out by going for walks, playing fetch, or even just some extra snuggles!
