“Pavvie and Watson enjoyed their stay. I was worried especially.about Watson because this was his first time away from home since his adoption and he has always been an anxious boy. Amber took great care of both of them!”

About: Growing up I have always cared for pets. Ranging from rats to cats and dogs! I have also worked for 2 years at a doggy daycare center. There I learned proper dog caretaking, behavior management, and grooming techniques. I currently work part time, so I have a very flexible and open schedule, perfect for taking care of pets! I have always had a love for animals and am will to take care of them at any chance I get. I work hard in ensure a safe environment for all of my clients as well as my own pets. Safety always comes first and is my top priority.
About: From a very young age, I have had a strong appreciation for animals of all kinds. I was raised in a household with multiple cats and dogs and was frequently responsible for their care. My responsibilities included training puppies, feeding animals dry food, wet food, and bottle feeding when necessary, as well as ensuring they were taken outside for regular bathroom breaks. I currently have a cat of my own named Walter and also provide dog-sitting services for family friends. :) Currently I am not employed due to going to school very soon, which means I will have plenty of time to care for the animal 24/7 and give them all the love they need! :) I will care for your pups or cats the way you would like me to care for them. I do really good with lists, and love to keep the animals company :)
About: I have alot of senior dog experience as a previous parent of a great senior retriever and I currently have a cuddly 4 year old Golden retriever named Ruby :) Day and overnight bookings work well with my schedule! I have a comfy setup for boarding and a large fenced in backyard with lots of nature :) Ideally my services will be catered around daily and nightly boarding services located primarily at my residence and yard but I'm willing to expand services as I get more experience on this platform 😀
“Couldn’t recommend Erica and Ciara enough!! It was my first time boarding my dog and was really anxious about it. They were great with keeping me updated and sending pics, and also very patient with my dog, who was very worked up since it was her first time away from home. I am so thankful for the care they provided!!”

“Wendy gets 5 stars-without hesitation! Charley has only been there once, but we've already scheduled his second stay with her. Wendy walked him daily and made sure he got frequent outside breaks. He enjoyed her little dogs and she gave him supplements and treats during the day. Wendy sent us updates and pictures of Charley and treated him like one of her own.”

“Erica did a wonderful job taking care of Lily. I received updates, questions, pictures, videos, and texts about cute & funny things she did. I could tell Erica was caring towards Lily and enjoyed being with her. I will definitely call on her again”

“Linsie has incredible knowledge when it comes to dogs and is such a caring and loving person. She cared for my mom’s two dogs, Zeus and Hera, as if they were her own. And went above and beyond the ensure they were looked after with short notice due to a family emergency. She kept us updated daily with pictures and feedback. She made an incredibly difficult time for our family more bearable, knowing that our beloved pups were in good hands. Do not hesitate to book Linsie. You and your pups will be happy you did:) Thank you, Linsie!!!!”

About: Since I was a young girl I've cared for cats and dogs in various settings. I've volunteered at humane societies, I've worked as a Vet Tech, was a supervisor at a daycare/boarding facility. I can administer insulin and other medications. Minor training experience in a professional setting. Can handle puppies to seniors. I will have plenty of time to devote to your pets, who really are our children. I am home a majority of the time with my own pets. I do not have a fenced in yard, I use a leash and walk my dog at least once a day, weather permitting. Potty breaks 2-4 hrs for my dog. I can travel as I have a 4wd vehicle. I will play and treat your pets as my own!
“More than exceeded expectation especially on such short notice. Our dog “Bella” had so much fun which was captured in pictures/video updates. 10/10 recommend booking with Alicia, your fur baby will appreciate it.”

“Jacque has watched our dog twice now and he's come home happy and as good as ever. She's also been very flexible with drop off and pick up times which makes things much easier. She sends pics and is great with communication! Will definitely keep coming back!”

About: I have experience caring for puppies, adult dogs, and cats, and I'm comfortable following each pet's routine to help them feel as comfortable as possible while their owner is away. I've cared for a puppy for over a week, including feeding, potty breaks, walks, playtime, and keeping up with their daily schedule. I also have experience caring for adult dogs by providing walks, meals, exercise, and companionship. In addition, I've cared for cats by feeding them, cleaning litter boxes, and spending time with them throughout the day. When house sitting, I also take care of basic household tasks such as watering plants, bringing in mail and packages, taking out the trash, and helping keep your home tidy while you're away. I follow instructions carefully, respect your home, and I'm happy to send updates and photos so you know your pets and home are being well cared for. I work remotely Monday through Friday, typically from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, which gives me a flexible schedule for pet care. Because I'm home during the day, I can take breaks for walks, potty breaks, feeding, and playtime, and I can provide regular attention throughout the day. I'm available for pet sitting, house sitting, and dog walking on both weekdays and weekends, and I'm happy to work around your pet's usual routine whenever possible. I always try to keep pets on their normal routine so they feel as comfortable as possible while you're away. I'll follow your instructions for feeding, walks, potty breaks, medications (if needed), playtime, and any other care your pet is used to. I know every pet is different, so I'm happy to adjust to their needs and personality.

Pet parents share their Rover experiences - Onalaska
Julie did a fantastic job with our two doggos, Poppy and Murphy! They were so right at home with her and her "Dog Whisperer" partner, Ross. Julie's dog Ollie welcomed them into his own realm and they all ventured to the neighborhood dog park for social media time. Julie sent photos and kept us updated so we felt really comfortable on our first big trip away from our beloved pooches. Will definitely book with Julie again!!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in WI ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
