Pet care experience
A Relaxing Pet Retreat
Growing up, animals were always a part of my life. From the time I was a little kid, I was fascinated by their unique personalities and unconditional love. I vividly remember spending countless hours playing with our family dogs, cats, hamsters and even watching our fish! I've had many many pets throughout my life like chinchillas , a cockatiel, bearded dragon, turtles, frogs... but currently just have two dogs and cats in the house. My animals all get along with each other and others too. There's many ways to separate the cat from the dogs if needed to keep everyone comfortable and safe. (I'm open to caring for all types of animals besides dogs and cats too!) Pampering pets is a part of who I am. As a certified Reiki Master and Massage Therapist, I've enjoyed working with pets as well as humans and connect easily with furry friends. Our home is place of refuge where your pet can retreat and enjoy some much needed relaxation. While receiving the extra special attention they all deserve, all their needs will be well taken care of!

Julie did a fantastic job with our two doggos, Poppy and Murphy! They were so right at home with her and her "Dog Whisperer" partner, Ross. Julie's dog Ollie welcomed them into his own realm and they all ventured to the neighborhood dog park for social media time. Julie sent photos and kept us updated so we felt really comfortable on our first big trip away from our beloved pooches. Will definitely book with Julie again!!
Julie took care of my 10 year old Corgi and almost 1 year old Chihuahua mix. Our Corgi loves everyone so that wasn't an issue, but our Chihuahua was nervous being away from us for the 1st time. Julie had a covered kennel ready for him to relax and check out the surroundings until he was ready to come out. By the end of the first day he was relaxed and enjoyed her kids. Will book again with her next time for sure.
Julie was friendly and communication was easy! She was very flexible and accommodating regarding drop off and pick up times. We knew Winnie was well cared for and we appreciated the photos that we received!

Schedule
I have a good pet care routine and love to spend time with my animals. I work remotely on the computer and also as a part-time seasonal bartender, so I am at home a lot and like to take time out to play with the pets and get outside and walk or go for car rides to our favorite dog park.

Safety, trust & environment
We have two small friendly dogs and a fenced in yard. There's plenty of spaces to keep pets separated, if needed, and I'll make sure they feel secure and loved whether at my home or yours. I can promise plenty of attention will be provided to each animal and lots of pictures taken too :)

A typical day
We'll play fetch a lot, go outside to explore, take lots of walks, and spend time cuddling on the couch. They usually love eating my homemade treats and occasionally we might travel to the dog park down the road, when approved by the pet parent :)
