About: I’ve lived my whole life with dogs since I was in the second grade. I have my own dog, named Miller who is a rescue from Texas. He’s my soul dog. He and I enjoy long walks with beautiful views! I work full time in a hospital, which I work 4 -10 hour shifts. I have off every Tuesday which I would love to take care of dogs! I am available most weekends unless I am scheduled to work. I have one medium sized dog who gets along with other dogs with slow introductions. We also have a kennel for safety if absolutely necessary.
About: I’ve had my own dogs my whole life that I have cared for! I started walking neighbors dogs when I was about 10, and have done it on and off ever since (while always walking my own dogs ofc:)! I currently am a college student, and am a nanny a few days a week! Looking to care for some dogs/pets as another activity to keep me busy and active! I care for all animals as my own! About: I have taken care of dogs of all stages over the years and I am equipped to care for animals of every age. Most recently my dogs have entered senior status so I have lots of experience providing the care they need, but I am experienced with caring for puppies and adolescent animals as well. I am a student at UWL so I have a fairly flexible schedule. During the week my schedule varies with my class schedule but Thursday through Sunday I am most available, which is perfect for weekends away! I am unable to house animals in my home due to my landlord not allowing pets, so I will treat your animals and your home in a safe and respectful manner. About: I’ve grown up around dogs and have taken care of them since I was young! I love them way more than people. I am counting down till I can have my own little pack of dogs. I’m used to dogs that pull on leashes, but it’s a plus when they’re an easy walker :) I currently am in college so whenever I don’t have classes I am completely free! Once a month for one weekend I work on a military base, but other than that I would love to spend my time with a pup! I am willing to do whatever to keep your dog’s routine normal. About: I’ve gotten a lot of practice in dog sitting with 2 different roommates I lived with who had dogs, whether it only be an overnight of caring for them or an entire trip’s worth time. And I really bonded with both dogs! I just love animals in general too and am looking forward to caring for more furry friends now that I don’t live with one anymore! Over the summer I work one part time job so I should have availability for visiting them either morning or evening or both. Sometimes I will have daytime availability as well. I enjoy a semi active lifestyle, so I would be very open to getting outdoors with your pet too! When I have lived with pets, I do like to provide them with lots of love and make sure I can balance my schedule to at least spend a little time with them each day. This can be helpful if you have a new pet or routine you want to go over with your sitter.
Meet & Greets can take place in person or virtually. If you are booking with a sitter for the first time, we recommend in-person Meet & Greets to get a clearer sense of how your sitter interacts with your pet or the new environment.
During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Meet & Greets are a great way to prepare your pet and sitter for longer stays or first-time bookings. Read our tips for your first Meet & Greet.
sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their contact information. Sitters may set a same-day, one-, three-, or seven-day cancellation policy. Cancelling within your sitter’s cancellation policy qualifies you for a full refund.
Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement sitter.
