About: I have grown up with animals my whole life and expected to take care of them myself. I also spent lots of days/nights house sitting for neighbors and friends :) I absolutely love meeting new furry friends and making sure they receive the same love they give. I can help out any day after 5:30pm. I do have a flexible schedule and can try to always work something out when needed. I can stay overnight in homes any night of the week. I have a fenced in yard and 3 friendly dogs at home to keep company :) I have a small & Xlarge dog crate in case the pup needs to be in a crate whole home.

About: Lifelong pet owner and animal lover. I have cared for and loved animals of all shapes, sizes, and personalities, and I am confident I can make your pet feel at home. I have prior experience watching everything from tiny Chihuahuas to 90 lbs German Shepherds. I am also highly experienced with anxious or nervous dogs and know how to give them the space and one-on-one time they need to warm up. I own a friendly, medium-sized dog named Raven who loves meeting new friends once they feel settled. To give you peace of mind, I send plenty of photo and video updates throughout your pet's stay so you can see exactly how much fun they are having! 😊 I work at an office in Winona from 6:30am–4:30pm Monday through Thursday. I work every other weekend (Friday through Sunday), meaning I am completely free for pet care on my alternating off-weekends. I am happy to provide extended boarding starting on my available weekends and lasting until the following Thursday. Please note that during the workweek (Monday through Thursday), I am away at the office all day, so your pet would need to be comfortable being left alone during my working hours. I do have a teenager that when home from school during the week can provide potty breaks. I recently moved into my own house on French Island, and my grandmother lives just a couple of blocks away. We have access to her fully fenced yard, and there is also a park about a block away from my house as well as many other open spaces to play. I will walk and feed your dog to your instructions and maintain their routine while staying under our care. I have experience watching a lot of anxious dogs, and every single one has warmed up eventually especially when they get one on one time the first 30–60 mins of their stay. It’s important to me that they are comfortable before introducing my pup Raven because new environments can be scary.
About: I have 2 lovely dogs who are my best friends! I take them all on walks almost every day, I have also trained them all, and feed them and play with them everyday of course! I love taking new pups for walks as much as my own. Im currently working part time so I would absolutely love to walk your dog any chance I can get! About: I have worked with animals off and on my whole life. I’ve had four dogs growing up including my current dog. I do have experience with epilepsy since my current dog does have it. I can also help with basic training such as walking nicely on a leash. I am currently trying to find a new career so working with doggos in the meantime will help me in that journey. I am open for walks or checks in during the week, but can only do stayovers on the weekends. I unfortunately can not have pets at my current residence as it is my parents, but I am more than willing to multiple stops or even overnights for your pets. I will love and care for them as if they’re my own.
About: I grew up with dogs and have had two dogs of our own for 11 years. We enjoy regular walks around our neighborhood and are experienced in giving vitamins and/or medication daily. About: I grew up with three Labradors/lab mixes, so caring for dogs has always been second nature to me. I’ve spent 15+ years helping my mom with walking, feeding, playing with, and overall caring for our dogs, and I’ve also worked as a neighborhood dog sitter and walker. Meet & Greets can take place in person or virtually. If you are booking with a sitter for the first time, we recommend in-person Meet & Greets to get a clearer sense of how your sitter interacts with your pet or the new environment.
During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy , which you can find on their profile under their contact information. Sitters may set a same-day, one-, three-, or seven-day cancellation policy. Cancelling within your sitter’s cancellation policy qualifies you for a full refund.
Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement sitter.
