About: I have taken care of my black cat, Kitty for 4 years and my other two cats, Whiskers and Oreo for 2 years. Kitty always tells me when to back off and I do because they deserve personal space too. Whiskers and Oreo are quite affectionate, so I do my best in giving them all the pets they deserve. When I met one of my friend's cat, they were skittish of me since I was a new person to them. So I took my time with them by letting them approach me first and sniff my hand. I made sure not to give direct eye contact towards them since that will make them nervous. I also talked in a soft tone so my friend's cat doesn't get scared by me. It took a bit of time, but my friend's cat let me pet them, which I was very happy to do. It made me feel special. I believe I'm adaptable to how I should approach cats when I first meet them.

About: I have a large extended family and I have been everybody's go to pet sitter since I was in highschool. I especially fell in love with animal care when I stayed with my aunt's elderly cat for 4 months. He had such personality and required special medicine. I often took care of my employer's dog and bunny when she was out of town. More recently I have begun to watch friends dogs and cats or run to their homes for emergency potty breaks when they've gotten stuck at work. My schedule is limited because I work in retail full time. My schedule is not the same every day. I typically work 9 to 5:30, but some days may deviate. If your animal is unable to be left alone for at least 4 hours at a time, I may not be the best fit for you. I am unable to provide care in my home as I live in a small apartment. About: At one time, we were breeders of Champion Golden Retrievers, and have raised many a pup, from small to large breeds. From Bernese to Yorkies, we love them all! Our furbabies are a Shorkie and Shih Tzu who are well behaved and make great hosts and playmates! Large pastures and trails on which to walk, so lots of exercise. About: Growing up with a variety of animals really gave me the compassion and love I have for animals now. Also, it gave me the skill I need to be able to take care of and provide for the different species of animals there are out there. Mostly, it was dogs and cats but I do have experience in caring for hamsters and bunnies. I love to go walking/hiking just to be outside and getting fresh air so i have no problem going on walks. About: I have taken care of dogs of every kind since I was 10. I have helped neighbors, friends, and family with their pets for short periods and long periods of time. I have my own 4 year old husky/akita mix who loves to play with other dogs and be in company with senior dogs who would prefer a long nap over play. I am currently working part time and will have open availability for weekends and weekdays. I will be taking a few classes once fall semester begins which will take a few hours out of my weekdays. I have a 2.5 acre unfenced yard, but offer two different types of monitored tethering or the option to take your dog to the bathroom on a leash. I have two dogs in my home one being my parents 13 year old lab and my own 4 year old husky. I can help out any day after 5:30pm. I do have a flexible schedule and can try to always work something out when needed. I can stay overnight in homes any night of the week. I have a fenced in yard and 3 friendly dogs at home to keep company :) I have a small & Xlarge dog crate in case the pup needs to be in a crate whole home.
About: I have fostered close to 50 cats ranging from 3 days old to 19 years old. I have two cats of my own and had a dog for 13 years. I have done many overnight dog sitting stays as well as a few cat sitting stays. I love the outdoors as well and going for walks with dogs is one of my favorite outdoor hobbies! About: I love animals of all kinds! I’m a nurse looking to hang out with your pets on my days off. I have experience with every care need from early puppy socialization to end of life care. I haven’t met a dog yet I didn’t immediately become besties with, from the tiniest chihuahua to the biggest pittie or Dane. I will never turn a dog down because of their breed! About: While living in Seattle I worked for Rover doing dog boarding in my own home, at times with up to five dogs at a time.
