About: While living in Seattle I worked for Rover doing dog boarding in my own home, at times with up to five dogs at a time. About: I grew up with dogs and have had two dogs of our own for 11 years. We enjoy regular walks around our neighborhood and are experienced in giving vitamins and/or medication daily. About: I have a large extended family and I have been everybody's go to pet sitter since I was in highschool. I especially fell in love with animal care when I stayed with my aunt's elderly cat for 4 months. He had such personality and required special medicine. I often took care of my employer's dog and bunny when she was out of town. More recently I have begun to watch friends dogs and cats or run to their homes for emergency potty breaks when they've gotten stuck at work. My schedule is limited because I work in retail full time. My schedule is not the same every day. I typically work 9 to 5:30, but some days may deviate. If your animal is unable to be left alone for at least 4 hours at a time, I may not be the best fit for you. I am unable to provide care in my home as I live in a small apartment. About: I have always had pets in my home my whole life both dogs and cats I am more of a dog person but I absolutely love caring for all animals and I know how difficult it can be depending on the animal my parents most recent dog was a handful he was in and out of several homes before finding his way to ours because of he’s very energetic and sometimes violent behavior but we turned him to a sweetie with time and good training. At first he was rather aggressive towards me and was very difficult to train because of how long he had gone without training which taught me a lot of tricks to deal with a difficult and aggressive dog. About: At one time, we were breeders of Champion Golden Retrievers, and have raised many a pup, from small to large breeds. From Bernese to Yorkies, we love them all! Our furbabies are a Shorkie and Shih Tzu who are well behaved and make great hosts and playmates! Large pastures and trails on which to walk, so lots of exercise.
