About: I have fostered close to 50 cats ranging from 3 days old to 19 years old. I have two cats of my own and had a dog for 13 years. I have done many overnight dog sitting stays as well as a few cat sitting stays. I love the outdoors as well and going for walks with dogs is one of my favorite outdoor hobbies! I am a full time college student during the school year, but my summers are spent doing part time jobs so I have extra free time to spend time and care for lots of animals! I have experience with big dogs, little dogs, and cats of all ages and personality types. I love socializing with them and getting some energy out by going for walks, playing fetch, or even just some extra snuggles!

About: I’ve grown up around animals my entire life and have cared for all kinds, including dogs, cats, and rabbits. My family has always been full of pet lovers and our home has always welcomed animals of all shapes and sizes. Growing up,I learned how to care for pets kindly, patiently, and responsibly. I currently have a cat of my own, and she truly is my pride and joy. I also regularly care for the pets of friends, coworkers, and family members when they’re out of town or need extra help. I’m a huge animal lover and have a very soft spot for pets. I truly care deeply about their well-being. I’m especially attentive to making sure animals feel safe, comfortable and loved. I would love to provide that same level of care and peace of mind for you and your pets! I work full-time, but have the option to work from home whenever needed, which gives me a lot of flexibility. I’m especially available after 4 PM, but I’m happy to make other times work as well. I can bring my work computer with me if needed and take breaks as I please, so I’m able to give your pets plenty of attention and care throughout the day. Your pet safety and comfort are my top priorities. I always follow care instructions closely and make sure pets are supervised, secure, and stress-free. I pay close attention to their behavior, routines, and any special needs they may have. My home is calm, clean, and pet friendly. I make sure doors and windows are secured, remove any potential hazards, and provide plenty of space for pets to relax and feel at home. I’m very attentive during walks and outings and always use leashes, unless otherwise instructed. I treat every pet as if they were my own and worked hard to build trust so both pets and owners feel comfortable and confident in my care.

“Finding someone we can trust with our mostly blind, diabetic dog is very difficult. We have had a couple other Rover sitters that just didn’t work out. Very hesitant, I tried Rover again and reached out to someone who had experience giving insulin shots but accidentally reached out to Emily at the same time and I’m glad I did. I am very impressed with her care of our dog. She expressed interest in learning how to give insulin and was a quick learner. Furthermore, Emily is very detail oriented and wanted to care for our dog in the way that we care for him and to keep him on a schedule. She is very safety conscious and truly cares about the needs of your dog. Some people do Rover as a way to get extra cash but for Emily it’s much more than that. That difference is why I won’t hesitate to book Emily again and you should too!”

About: Grew up on a farm with lots of cats and dogs. I have a 15-year-old border collie mix that can no longer go for long walks. Hoping for the opportunity to take some other pups on walks too! I work as a nurse, so I am more than willing to administer medications and injections. Being that I have an elderly dog myself, I am no stranger to senior care or special needs. I currently work as a nurse full-time, but I am available after 5 pm to help with taking your dog out or checking in on your kitty. I am available most weekends as well. I cannot offer pet boarding, but I am willing to check in on your furry family members! I am always willing to lend a hand when life gets busy. Although my background is in human care, I can administer CPR, medications, and injections. Just let me know!

About: I have had pets my whole life. I've taken care of hamsters, cats, dogs, and horses. I love and respect every pet created by God. I know how to leash train and walk dogs appropriately. I will keep animals safe and made to feel spoiled. I am a stay at home mom so my day is very flexible during the week. As long as I have a day notice, I can commit to services. I can usually rearrange my schedule to fit in unplanned activities. I would bring your pet into your yard to go to the bathroom. If needed, I would clean up poop and dispose of in garbage. I would clean up any accidents or puke by using any cleaning supplies and paper towel left for me. I would walk your pet on the sidewalk or if able to bring to dog park for exercise. I also love playing fetch or tug-a-war with dogs. Cats are fun to cuddle, brush, and play with as well. I would give treats if given permission too.

About: I have taken care of my own dog as well as taken family friends dogs on walks and runs. I am currently training for a half marathon, so if your dogs loves long runs or long walks I would love to help them get outside and exercise. I currently am working part time on top of school. Most days I can take dogs on a walk or run in the morning to later afternoon! I currently live in an apartment where pets are not allowed, so for now I will stick to taking dogs on walks and runs whether that’s around a safe neighborhood or at a park.

About: I have loved animals of all kinds and caring for them my whole life! Ranging from dogs of all breeds, cats, and even chickens! As a dog walker and pet sitter I will care for your pet like they are my own. I have 3 pups and 1 cat of my own. I have even had chickens for years! About: I’ve gotten a lot of practice in dog sitting with 2 different roommates I lived with who had dogs, whether it only be an overnight of caring for them or an entire trip’s worth time. And I really bonded with both dogs! I just love animals in general too and am looking forward to caring for more furry friends now that I don’t live with one anymore! Over the summer I work one part time job so I should have availability for visiting them either morning or evening or both. Sometimes I will have daytime availability as well. I enjoy a semi active lifestyle, so I would be very open to getting outdoors with your pet too! During the school year I work 2 jobs, so my flexibility may be a little more limited come fall, but I should still have some availability. Happy to try to work things out with scheduling! When I have lived with pets, I do like to provide them with lots of love and make sure I can balance my schedule to at least spend a little time with them each day. I make sure they are able to get outside and exercise if they and their owners wish.

About: I have pet sat a handful of times for family and friends, and grew up surrounded by farm animals of all kinds! I can’t wait to meet your pet! I am an elementary teacher who has the summers off! I am currently available all hours of the day to care for your pets, whether that is giving snuggles or going for a walk! I currently do not have any pets of my own since my boyfriend and I just moved to lax! We are looking forward to adding pets to our home and give love to our fenced in yard!

About: I grew up with many different dog breeds. I can administer medication, feedings, walking, running, and give them all the potty breaks in the world. I love all animals and will treat yours like my own. I’m currently working part time and out of school for the summer. I’ll be free during night time routines or early morning walks and all day on my days off. I follow specific instructions for your fur baby and keep him or her safe and cared for during my time with them. If they need to be crated before I have to leave, that will be done. They will also be given any enrichment that you had planned.

About: Hi all! I’m one of those, I love animals more than people types. (No offense to any of you) ☺️ I ugly cry when I see an animal get hurt on TV or in the movies. My mom told me that when I was younger, I used to feed all the ants on our patio bread and my most infamous rescues were saving a one-winged fly and rescuing a bee from drowning in a puddle. *proud moments for me* 😁 I have always had pets growing up, both dogs and cats and several other critters. I currently own 3 dogs that are rescues. I have fostered dogs plus taken care of my friend’s pets and I have experience with pets of all ages including senior and blind dogs as well. The reason I joined Rover is because I have a passion for not only helping animals but people as well. Please reach out if you have any specific questions. 🐾 At this time I am not currently caring for any pets in my home due to my three dogs but I also feel that it’s best for a pet to stay in their own home if at all possible. They are way more comfortable and happy in their own space plus it’s easier for them to stick to their normal routine at home. I prefer to go by their normal routine if at all possible. I will discuss specifics for each individual animal as we know they are all different and have their own unique personalities. Together we will find out what works best for both you and them. 🐾

About: I've taken care of a variety of dogs since I was very young. I grew up with labs and I am very comfortable with all sizes of dogs. I took care of my yellow lab/retriever mix, Blue, for so many years; taking her on long walks, giving her baths, making sure she got along with our neighbor dogs. I also helped out taking care of my neighbor dogs from time to time. After my dog died at the age of 15, my family didn't think we would get another dog. 7 years ago, we got a new puppy, his name is Brooks, and he is a yellow lab. He is very different than our old dog. He has lots of energy, he has ran away a couple times but always came back or we found him, and we lived on 2 acres of land so that helped. He is our first inside dog, so he loves cuddles, treats, sleeping, playing catch and sneaking downstairs where he is not supposed to be. I have lots of experience with dogs and I appreciate and love them very much! I am currently working at the University of Wisconsin La Crosse, so I have the summer off. During the school year, I have Fridays off and I am done by 3pm the other days. On Mondays and Wednesdays I have slower mornings. I can help out throughout the day and on weekends. I live in an apartment building but there is an area with lots of grass and next to the building and around the area. My building doesn’t allow pets so I am not able to house pets at my place, but I can always talk to my landlord.
