About: I have always had pets in my home my whole life both dogs and cats I am more of a dog person but I absolutely love caring for all animals and I know how difficult it can be depending on the animal my parents most recent dog was a handful he was in and out of several homes before finding his way to ours because of he’s very energetic and sometimes violent behavior but we turned him to a sweetie with time and good training. At first he was rather aggressive towards me and was very difficult to train because of how long he had gone without training which taught me a lot of tricks to deal with a difficult and aggressive dog. We have a 1 year old mixed breed dog that is very playful and happy around pretty much everyone. We met in a park near AJ’s home and he was promptly on time and communicated well. I asked several questions about the plan for the day and everything seemed reasonable to me. For me personally I just wanted someone that would keep my dog active and happy for the afternoon, also sneak in the occasional nap is okay too. About: At one time, we were breeders of Champion Golden Retrievers, and have raised many a pup, from small to large breeds. From Bernese to Yorkies, we love them all! Our furbabies are a Shorkie and Shih Tzu who are well behaved and make great hosts and playmates! Large pastures and trails on which to walk, so lots of exercise. Our canine guests will receive lots of love and attention! They will be welcome in our house if well-behaved, and treated like one of the family during their stay. I have pets of my own, including two dogs, a guinea pig, a rabbit, and two chickens, so I’m experienced with both dogs and a variety of other animals. I’m also involved with a local foster group; Driftless Rescue. I’m responsible, dependable, and genuinely enjoy staying busy and spending time with animals. My goal is to make sure every pet feels safe, comfortable, and cared for while their owners are away! I work full-time between two jobs, but my schedules are flexible, allowing me to provide pet care visits throughout the day. I can typically check in on pets every 4–6 hours, depending on the location and care needs. I’m best suited for pets who are comfortable being left alone for a few hours between visits. I’m happy to discuss your pet’s specific routine and make sure their needs can be met! I provide pet care exclusively in your home rather than boarding pets at my house. Since I have dogs and several small animals of my own, I feel it’s safest to keep everyone in their own space. My goal is to keep their normal routine as consistent as possible.

About: While living in Seattle I worked for Rover doing dog boarding in my own home, at times with up to five dogs at a time.
