About: I’ve grown up around animals my entire life and have cared for all kinds, including dogs, cats, and rabbits. My family has always been full of pet lovers and our home has always welcomed animals of all shapes and sizes. Growing up,I learned how to care for pets kindly, patiently, and responsibly. I currently have a cat of my own, and she truly is my pride and joy. I also regularly care for the pets of friends, coworkers, and family members when they’re out of town or need extra help. I’m a huge animal lover and have a very soft spot for pets. I truly care deeply about their well-being. I’m especially attentive to making sure animals feel safe, comfortable and loved. I would love to provide that same level of care and peace of mind for you and your pets! I work full-time, but have the option to work from home whenever needed, which gives me a lot of flexibility. I’m especially available after 4 PM, but I’m happy to make other times work as well. I can bring my work computer with me if needed and take breaks as I please, so I’m able to give your pets plenty of attention and care throughout the day. Your pet safety and comfort are my top priorities. I always follow care instructions closely and make sure pets are supervised, secure, and stress-free. I pay close attention to their behavior, routines, and any special needs they may have. My home is calm, clean, and pet friendly. I make sure doors and windows are secured, remove any potential hazards, and provide plenty of space for pets to relax and feel at home. I’m very attentive during walks and outings and always use leashes, unless otherwise instructed. I treat every pet as if they were my own and worked hard to build trust so both pets and owners feel comfortable and confident in my care.

About: I have taken care of cats, dogs, small animals, and fish since I was 12 years old. I love animals and family, friends, and neighbors have relied on me to care for their pets while they are away. I will be attending UWL, but have a flexible schedule and will be able to spend some time with your fur babies throughout the day. I will respect your home as well as your pet’s space. I care about your pet’s safety and comfort, especially when they are in their own home.

About: I currently volunteer at the local animal shelter to help animals in need. I have a lot of experience with walking dogs and even some minor training. At home, I have a 15-year-old border collie mix and 4-year-old tabby cat who are both rescues. In addition, I work as a nurse, so I am more than willing to administer medications and injections. Being that I have an elderly dog myself, I am no stranger to senior care or special needs. I am available most days to help with taking your dog out or checking in on your kitty. I am available most weekends as well. I cannot offer pet boarding, but I am willing to check in on your furry family members! I am always willing to lend a hand when life gets busy. I can also administer CPR, medications, and injections as well.

My mom told me that when I was younger, I used to feed all the ants on our patio bread and my most infamous rescues were saving a one-winged fly and rescuing a bee from drowning in a puddle. *proud moments for me* 😁 I have always had pets growing up, both dogs and cats and several other critters. I currently own 3 dogs that are rescues. I have fostered dogs plus taken care of my friend’s pets and I have experience with pets of all ages including senior and blind dogs as well. The reason I joined Rover is because I have a passion for not only helping animals but people as well. About: Hello, I’m Ashlyn! If you were to ask anyone who knows me what I’m like, the first thing they would tell you is that I am animal OBSESSED! I have been surrounded by animals + cats alike my entire life. I currently own two big dogs (Pitbull +Aussie) + one small dog (Shih Tzu) and a cat! I strive to ensure your pet has the best experience possible while you are away. Coming from a pet parent myself I know the fear of leaving your bestfriend in someone else’s care can be a lot. That’s why I believe it is important to keep you in the loop for a stress-free time away, while also giving your animal plenty of enrichment and love to distract their worried mind while you are gone. I am experienced with a wide range of different kinds of dogs. From reactive, friendly, and anxious I have seen it all. I am more then willing to work through quirks your animal has in order to make their experience the best it can be! Some training skills I am well-versed in is leash training, socialization, basic manners, puppy care, senior care, and separation anxiety issues. I am so excited to meet your animal and give it the best experience possible! I currently work Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Sunday. Hours vary week to week. Let me know your preferred schedule and we can make it work! I am absolutely able to leave work (distance permitting) during my break to let your animal outside and let out some energy if needed! After work I am able to give your pet some exercise whether that is a walk or playing with some toys after work. For house-sitting/ drop ins- I am a firm believer that following a similar routine to what the owner (you) follows will give your pet the least stressful experience possible. I will stick to your potty schedule for your animal as well as feeding. As for exercise, I am up to whatever your dog or cat prefers! I can go for walks, play fetch, provide enrichment with feeding time or play with toys. I am always willing to go to nearby park with your pup if preferred! Whatever your pet loves and makes them feel the safest! For dog-walking, I am willing to walk however long your animal needs! Does your pet have a favorite route? Let me know and I will follow it! Any nearby trails or parks? I am always down to visit them with your pup if wanted! I have personal experience with leash-pulling and reactivity so as long as I am made aware of these things and have met your dog, I am more then willing to work through these things on our walk! I am big on taking my dogs and shelter dogs to parks or big areas to run or explore. If this is something you would be interested in, I could totally take your dog out for an hour to exercise them!

About: I have had multiple breeds of dogs or cats my whole life. I love all sorts of animals. They are more than a pet, they are family to me. I am working mom that just enjoys helping others out by watching their pets while they are out of town. I work typically 8am to 5 pm Tuesday through Saturdays and am available Sunday and Mondays any time. I am flexible. Each pet is different, but typically I make sure the pet is fed and has water. I allow for play time and depending on the weather, for dogs I will take for walks or play outside.

About: I really enjoy taking care of my own and my family and friends’ pets. I connect with animals easily and feel good in their presence. I am currently taking care of my aging dog Bilka. I’m not teaching during the summer months and have a lot of availability in July and August. I can pet sit on weekdays and on weekends. I have a fenced in yard where my dog can roam around. My cat does not go outside but has comfortable spaces in the house to sleep or watch what happens outside through the windows. I will follow your safety rules to keep your pet safe and well.

About: I have worked at a doggie daycare. I also grew up with dogs and cats my entire life. My parents have two dogs and two cats, and I have a cat. I am a college student with lots of breaks in my schedule to check in on pets or take them for walks. I also have a part-time job in the afternoon, but it is only 1 day a week and every other weekend. I would listen to the client's rules on how to take care of their pet(s). Depending on what the client wants I would do my best to accommodate their needs.

About: I have had my own dogs for about 9 years now! They are a golden doodle, a poodle, and a bernedoole! I have experience watching all kinds of dogs and would love to take care of yours! I work as a Nurse in the area so I work 2-3 times a week 12 hour shifts. Those days I wouldn’t be able to help, but am looking to help anyone on my days off! I currently have two dogs at home that I watch in a fenced yard! I have experience working with all kinds of dogs and am able to accommodate according to how you like raising your dogs!
