About: I’ve lived my whole life with dogs since I was in the second grade. I have my own dog, named Miller who is a rescue from Texas. He’s my soul dog. He and I enjoy long walks with beautiful views! I work full time in a hospital, which I work 4 -10 hour shifts. I have off every Tuesday which I would love to take care of dogs! I am available most weekends unless I am scheduled to work. I have one medium sized dog who gets along with other dogs with slow introductions. We also have a kennel for safety if absolutely necessary.

About: I grew up with shelter dogs my whole life, and we always had three dogs at a time, so I’m very used to different personalities, energy levels, and behaviors. Having rescue dogs taught me a lot of patience and helped me learn how every dog has their own needs and routine. Something that sets me apart is my hands-on experience with training my German Shepherd Husky mix at home, so I’m comfortable working with high-energy dogs and helping reinforce good habits. I also have experience with dogs of all ages, including seniors, so I understand the extra gentleness and patience they sometimes need. Honestly, I just really love being around dogs and miss mine at home, so I’d love the chance to spend time with some furry friends and make sure they feel safe, happy, and cared for. I am in school full time and I work at Chick Fil A part time, but I am done with classes most days by 3pm so I am willing to walk dogs on those days! I also do not go home hardly ever, except holidays so I can do weekend care as well! When caring for pets in a client’s home, I make it a priority to stick closely to their normal routine because I know how important consistency is for dogs. One of my dogs at home, Maui, will even get sick if breakfast is more than about 30 minutes late, so I truly understand how much pets rely on their schedules for comfort and health. I’m also very comfortable cleaning up after pets and handling any accidents quickly and responsibly. Being an only child, I’ve always been the one to step in and take care of messes at home, so it comes naturally to me to keep both the pet and the home clean and comfortable. I also know how reassuring updates can be for pet parents. Whenever my family goes on trips, my mom loves receiving photos of our dogs, so I always plan to send picture updates and little check-ins so owners know their pets are happy, safe, and well cared for.
About: Hello! My name is Melo. I am a full time pet lover! I am blessed with 4 beautiful cats, and a gorgeous Beta Fish! Since a young age I have had a huge passion for animals. I grew up taking care of dogs, cats, chinchillas, sugar gliders, and lizards. I would do it all again in a heartbeat! My passion for animals extends to my friends and family’s fur babies. I’m always the one to call when they are in need of a sitter. Being around animals makes my heart so full and I cherish every moment I have with them. I am hoping to open up an animal sanctuary in the future so all of the houseless fur babies get the love, care, and attention they deserve! I’m am currently self employed therefore I have an open schedule! I’m extremely flexible and am able to meet the majority of your pest sitting needs. I have a fenced in backyard if your puppers need to roam around for a bit or play fetch! I personally also take my youngest cat outside to play during the day as well! I love to go on walks and spend the majority of my time outside and would love to have your pet join me! All of my cats get 30+ minutes a day of play time and receive 3 nutritional wet food meals a day.

About: I have taken care of my two pit bulls since the start of high school. I love giving affection to them, including others I have met in person. I used to have a senior dog who had joint problems and needed help on the stairs, bed, and sofa. I also love meeting my friends’ pets and giving them the same affection as I do with my own pets. I do drop in visits, house sitting, and dog walking. I would love to give your fur babies a bunch of affection and care. I’ll make sure to update you regularly with pictures so you know that your pets are in safe hands. Your pets safety is my top priority. For dog walking, I’ll make sure they stay off the road when the pavement is too hot and/or a car is coming. I will also stay alert to my surroundings. About: I have worked with animals off and on my whole life. I’ve had four dogs growing up including my current dog. I do have experience with epilepsy since my current dog does have it. I can also help with basic training such as walking nicely on a leash. I am currently trying to find a new career so working with doggos in the meantime will help me in that journey. I am open for walks or checks in during the week, but can only do stayovers on the weekends. I unfortunately can not have pets at my current residence as it is my parents, but I am more than willing to multiple stops or even overnights for your pets. About: I have taken care of my own dog as well as taken family friends dogs on walks and runs. I am currently training for a half marathon, so if your dogs loves long runs or long walks I would love to help them get outside and exercise. I currently am working part time on top of school. Meet & Greets can take place in person or virtually. If you are booking with a sitter for the first time, we recommend in-person Meet & Greets to get a clearer sense of how your sitter interacts with your pet or the new environment.
During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy , which you can find on their profile under their contact information. Sitters may set a same-day, one-, three-, or seven-day cancellation policy. Cancelling within your sitter’s cancellation policy qualifies you for a full refund.
Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement sitter.
