“Finding someone we can trust with our mostly blind, diabetic dog is very difficult. We have had a couple other Rover sitters that just didn’t work out. Very hesitant, I tried Rover again and reached out to someone who had experience giving insulin shots but accidentally reached out to Emily at the same time and I’m glad I did. I am very impressed with her care of our dog. She expressed interest in learning how to give insulin and was a quick learner. Furthermore, Emily is very detail oriented and wanted to care for our dog in the way that we care for him and to keep him on a schedule. She is very safety conscious and truly cares about the needs of your dog. Some people do Rover as a way to get extra cash but for Emily it’s much more than that. That difference is why I won’t hesitate to book Emily again and you should too!”

“Prompt, professional and caring.”

“Our first visit together went very well. Emily and Gunnar will become very good friends I’m sure. We discussed his diet, his nuances and habits. Nothing Emily won’t be able to handle!”

“Daniel is great with my dogs. I highly recommend him!!”

“Samantha took wonderful care of my pets while I was out of town. She even corralled all my chickens and ducks into my coop. I will definitely be using her the next time I leave. Thank you!!!”

“Lauren drove over 35 minutes to let our pup out. She was great at communicating with me and gave me detail report and pics of her visit.”

About: I grew up with dogs, cats, and horses. Once I became an adult, I had my own dogs, cats, horses, and goats. Currently, I only have 1 dog now that I am living back in town. I work for a local animal shelter and we handle dogs at the shelter, but we handle all animal welfare cases for our county. It is an open admission shelter so I am use to small, medium, and large dogs. I am also use to scared, sweet, fun, and sometimes aggressive dogs. I've worked with them all! I'm currently working full time, Monday-Friday during the day. I do have some week night and weekend availability. Let's see what we can work out. I have a fenced in yard where dogs can run and play. Otherwise, I would use a leash or tie out while they are outside.

“We had to leave town unexpectedly and needed someone to care for our cat, Tasha. Madisynn was a lifesaver! Everything from start to finish was fantastic. The communication with Madisynn was always prompt and we never felt out of the loop. She is warm, professional, and one can tell that she truly cares for the animals she watches. We will definitely go with Madisynn again in the future!”

“Was very appreciative of Makayla and her willingness to work with myself and my very timid doggo. Would work with her again!”

“Thank you so much, Becca! Seeger and Layla absolutely love spending time with you.”

“We highly recommend Brandon for your dog sitting needs. He was thorough and truly cared about taking great care of our furry babies. We will always keep in in mind for upcoming dog sitting needs.”

About: Growing up, we always had animals in the house! I enjoy being around them, & giving them back the love & care they so selfishly show to us. I would LOVE to take care of yours while you’re away :) I work a full time job, but I am off most Tuesday afternoons, Fridays, and weekends. M-Th is usually busy for me, but beyond that I am open (with timely notice). I am more than willing to visit your house to take care of your pet and their needs! Whether that means playing with them indoors, or outdoors (no matter the conditions) I would be happy to. I currently do not offer pet sitting overnight in my household / yours, just due to my family’s current schedule.

“Lindsay was beyond amazing, I wish I could leave more than 5 stars! She was very patient with my dog the first time she met her, and now they are the best of friends! She sent SO many adorable update photos and left sweet notes which made me feel reassured. This was my first time using a Rover sitter, and I plan on sticking with Lindsay for a long time to come!”

About: I have two dogs and they are our world. I have had dogs my entire live, have raised multiple puppies and want to love your dog just like our own! I have two sweet doodles who want to be your dogs new best friend. I work full time however am home Friday to Sunday and look forward to dedicating extra time caring for your pup. I am pretty active so expect your dogs stay to be spent playing, walking, and hiking. If caring for your dog in your home will prioritize your pet first! I do not have a fenced in backyard but instead have a long lead. Your dog is still able to roam the yard and take care of business while safe on a lead. I have an unfinished basement which is ultimately our dog play area. I supervise all play in this area - it's been super helpful when weather doesn't allow outdoor time. In the clients home i will be able to play in your backyard while ensuring safety whether it is fenced in or utilizing a lead.

“Excellent service! Rachel was very kind to our dog and took great care of him while we were away. We will be continuing to use Rover in the future!”

About: I've been around animals my whole life, from dogs and cats, to rabbits and birds, even goats and turkeys. I'm always happy to be around them, and am more than willing to make sure they're happy as well. My family always knows who to call when they need the critters taken care of, no matter what. I currently have open availability, from morning to evening, and weekends are open to all. Nothing better to start the day than a walk with man's best friend. I can't board pets in my apartment, and depending on the dog/client wishes in question I tend to let them follow their normal routine. I always make sure that they get plenty of exercise and fresh air.

About: My two greatest loves: dogs and the outdoors! Growing up on a farm was an incredible blessing for a girl that adores animals! Our first dog, Freckles, actually was a stray dog that we nursed to health and became the family dog. We were lucky to have friendships with the local vet...and our pets alway we well cared for. Years later, my husband and I adopted our 1st dog together in 1997 she was a black lab with the biggest heart. She was known as an avid swimmer and runner. We still miss her loving eyes and playing endless fetch with her. Now, I live in the suburbs with my family and we have two dogs. (8 year old cuddly Boston Terrier & a hilarious, 5 year old Boxer-mix) They enjoy the luxury life of long walks and are spoiled beyond words. I also take time during the week to volunteer with dogs at the Humane Society. Those walks give me the chance to meet and work with dogs of every size and breed...that time means the world to me. I love the personalities of ALL dogs...and would love to get to know yours! My promise is to give them 100% of the love and attention that they deserve while under my care.

“Andee was so accommodating and helpful! It was so great to not have to worry about anything and know she was taking care of our dog. She had great communication and our dog loved her!”

17. Shelley G.
“Shelley is a wonderful, compassionate person and would be an outstanding dog caregiver for Rover.com. I have been fortunate enough to see first hand how she cares for her two dogs and her previous dog that has since passed. She treats her dogs lovingly and provides the physical, social and emotional support necessary for these important members of her family. As a dog mom, I understand how difficult it is to leave your "child" in the care of others. I would be 100% confident to leave my dogs in her care. I know from personal experience they will be loved, engaged and celebrated! Shelley truly is the ideal dog care giver!!!!”
