About: Lifetime dog and cat dad. Big, small, old and ornery I've lived with them. Can handle gently or stern when needed. Experience giving meds and reaction training I work part time so I'm available weekdays and some weekends. My only limit is I need to be home for my daughter's bedtime at 8PM. With any animal it's all about trust. I don't ever assume they'll be comfortable with me, so I start slow and build that trust at their pace.
About: I’ve had my own dogs my whole life that I have cared for! I started walking neighbors dogs when I was about 10, and have done it on and off ever since (while always walking my own dogs ofc:)! About: I’ve grown up around dogs and have taken care of them since I was young! I love them way more than people. I am counting down till I can have my own little pack of dogs. I’m used to dogs that pull on leashes, but it’s a plus when they’re an easy walker :) I currently am in college so whenever I don’t have classes I am completely free! Once a month for one weekend I work on a military base, but other than that I would love to spend my time with a pup! I am willing to do whatever to keep your dog’s routine normal. I am used to crate training, routine dog walks, etc. No judgement from me :)

About: I grew up with dogs and have had two dogs of our own for 11 years. We enjoy regular walks around our neighborhood and are experienced in giving vitamins and/or medication daily. I work full-time and am available to make trips home to allow bathroom breaks and home all evenings and weekends. I work full-time in La Crosse and am available in the early afternoons and evenings. Also available for an occasional trip for quick bathroom breaks/walks. My backyard faces a golf course, perfect for a peaceful and relaxing environment. Plenty of space to wander without the worries of lots of traffic or people.
About: I grew up with shelter dogs my whole life, and we always had three dogs at a time, so I’m very used to different personalities, energy levels, and behaviors. Having rescue dogs taught me a lot of patience and helped me learn how every dog has their own needs and routine. Something that sets me apart is my hands-on experience with training my German Shepherd Husky mix at home, so I’m comfortable working with high-energy dogs and helping reinforce good habits. I also have experience with dogs of all ages, including seniors, so I understand the extra gentleness and patience they sometimes need. Honestly, I just really love being around dogs and miss mine at home, so I’d love the chance to spend time with some furry friends and make sure they feel safe, happy, and cared for. I am in school full time and I work at Chick Fil A part time, but I am done with classes most days by 3pm so I am willing to walk dogs on those days! I also do not go home hardly ever, except holidays so I can do weekend care as well! When caring for pets in a client’s home, I make it a priority to stick closely to their normal routine because I know how important consistency is for dogs. One of my dogs at home, Maui, will even get sick if breakfast is more than about 30 minutes late, so I truly understand how much pets rely on their schedules for comfort and health. I’m also very comfortable cleaning up after pets and handling any accidents quickly and responsibly. Being an only child, I’ve always been the one to step in and take care of messes at home, so it comes naturally to me to keep both the pet and the home clean and comfortable. I also know how reassuring updates can be for pet parents. Whenever my family goes on trips, my mom loves receiving photos of our dogs, so I always plan to send picture updates and little check-ins so owners know their pets are happy, safe, and well cared for.
About: I've had pets my whole life and have had kittens, puppies, cats, dogs, and animals outdoors. I've always had a heart for animals and am the type of person to save stray animals whenever I see them. About: Hi ! As I am home for summer , I would love to be able to watch any animals , any size is okay ! I have grown up with large dogs most of my life but I am okay with any size and age. Only sitters who have never booked with you before can schedule a Meet & Greet on Rover; however, you are welcome to coordinate one in Rover messages with sitters you have previously booked. This can be helpful if you have a new pet or routine you want to go over with your sitter.
Meet & Greets can take place in person or virtually. If you are booking with a sitter for the first time, we recommend in-person Meet & Greets to get a clearer sense of how your sitter interacts with your pet or the new environment.
During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Meet & Greets are a great way to prepare your pet and sitter for longer stays or first-time bookings. Read our tips for your first Meet & Greet.
sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their contact information. Sitters may set a same-day, one-, three-, or seven-day cancellation policy. Cancelling within your sitter’s cancellation policy qualifies you for a full refund.
Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement sitter.
