Both are seniors with health issues, and she did great with communication and asking questions, ultimately making us feel more at ease leaving for a few days. We will definitely book with her again, and recommend her to anyone looking for dog sitting services!”

“Luke is the best! He takes such great care of our kiddos. He sends pictures and videos of their cuteness, and doesn't hesitate to reach out with questions. The house always looks great when we get home. Luke is very conscientious. Even our shy cat is very comfortable around Luke!”

About: Hello! With over four years of experience in in-home pet care, I’ve had the pleasure of working with a wide range of animals—from dogs and cats to chickens and ducks—each with their own unique personality and needs. What sets me apart is my commitment to providing personalized care. I carefully follow each pet’s specific instructions to ensure their routine, comfort, and safety are always prioritized. Your pets are not just animals to me—they're family, and I treat them as such. Willing to negotiate pricing for multi-pet homes (4+ pets). Thank you!!! I work full time doing Rover, which gives me the flexibility to offer reliable availability throughout the week. Whether you need a regularly scheduled visit or last-minute care, I’m often able to accommodate your needs with short notice. Safety is always my top priority. No matter the location or type of service, your pet’s well-being comes first. I take every precaution to ensure they are never put in unsafe situations and always cared for with caution, attention, and responsibility.
About: I have worked at a doggie daycare. I also grew up with dogs and cats my entire life. My parents have two dogs and two cats, and I have a cat. I am a college student with lots of breaks in my schedule to check in on pets or take them for walks. I also have a part-time job in the afternoon, but it is only 1 day a week and every other weekend. I would listen to the client's rules on how to take care of their pet(s). Depending on what the client wants I would do my best to accommodate their needs.
About: I’ve been around animals my whole life and truly love caring for them. I grew up with a variety of pets including cats, dogs, chickens, ducks, and bunnies, which gave me a deep appreciation for animals of all kinds. Over the years, I’ve gained hands-on experience providing pet care, including overnight stays, administering medications, and keeping pets comfortable and happy in their home environment. I always focus on maintaining each pet’s normal routine—whether that’s mealtime schedules, daily walks, playtime, or a bit of training and structure. I’m also experienced in caring for senior pets and can support their specific needs with patience and care. My goal is to treat every pet like family and give you peace of mind while you're away. I’m happy to send daily updates and photos so you can stay connected and see all the love your pets are getting. Send me a message any time for a quick meet & greet or a free short walk—no commitment, just pets and peace of mind! I have both a dog and cat that I take care of every day. My dog is a four year old energetic lab/springer mix and I have a two year old orange kitty. I love getting outside and having playtime or going on walks with my dog and playing with my cat. Whether I’m caring for pets in my home or visiting yours, their safety and comfort are always my top priorities. I create a calm, clean, and pet-friendly environment, following any specific instructions you provide—like feeding schedules, medications, or routines. When pets stay with me, my home is set up to be a safe and welcoming space where they can relax and feel at ease. During drop-in visits, I’m respectful of your home and make sure to keep everything just as I found it. In all cases, I take the time to build trust and move at each pet’s pace to ensure they feel secure and loved. My goal is to make your time away as stress-free as possible—for both you and your pets.
About: I grew up with shelter dogs my whole life, and we always had three dogs at a time, so I’m very used to different personalities, energy levels, and behaviors. Having rescue dogs taught me a lot of patience and helped me learn how every dog has their own needs and routine. Something that sets me apart is my hands-on experience with training my German Shepherd Husky mix at home, so I’m comfortable working with high-energy dogs and helping reinforce good habits. I also have experience with dogs of all ages, including seniors, so I understand the extra gentleness and patience they sometimes need. Honestly, I just really love being around dogs and miss mine at home, so I’d love the chance to spend time with some furry friends and make sure they feel safe, happy, and cared for. I am in school full time and I work at Chick Fil A part time, but I am done with classes most days by 3pm so I am willing to walk dogs on those days! I also do not go home hardly ever, except holidays so I can do weekend care as well! When caring for pets in a client’s home, I make it a priority to stick closely to their normal routine because I know how important consistency is for dogs. One of my dogs at home, Maui, will even get sick if breakfast is more than about 30 minutes late, so I truly understand how much pets rely on their schedules for comfort and health. I’m also very comfortable cleaning up after pets and handling any accidents quickly and responsibly. Being an only child, I’ve always been the one to step in and take care of messes at home, so it comes naturally to me to keep both the pet and the home clean and comfortable. I also know how reassuring updates can be for pet parents. Whenever my family goes on trips, my mom loves receiving photos of our dogs, so I always plan to send picture updates and little check-ins so owners know their pets are happy, safe, and well cared for.

“Abrianna is truly exceptional! She cared for our two dogs with such love and attentiveness—it was like leaving them with family. Over the two days we were gone, she kept in regular contact, sending updates and photos that gave us total peace of mind. She walked them, played with them, and gave them all the attention they needed. We came home to happy pups and a spotless home. Highly, highly recommend!”

About: I have over 13 years of hands on experience caring for dogs, from raising puppies into adulthood to understanding how their needs change throughout different stages of life. I’ve learned how important it is for dogs to have healthy outlets for their energy, plenty of attention, patience, exercise, and a routine that helps them feel happy and cared for. I currently have a dog of my own, Reese, who I love taking on walks and runs, as well as three cats with their own unique personalities. Having both dogs and cats has given me experience understanding the very different ways animals communicate, build trust, and show what they need. I’m comfortable caring for puppies, adult dogs, high-energy dogs, and pets who may still be learning their manners or training. I believe every animal deserves patience and the opportunity to feel safe, appreciated, and understood. Whether your pet needs an energetic walk, playtime, companionship, or simply some extra love and attention while you’re away, I want to provide the same level of care I would want for my own animals. 🐾 With a flexible part-time schedule and a love for walking my own dog on the daily, I enjoy sharing fun, fulfilling walks with other dogs too. I’ve always been an animal lover and happiest when I’m spending time outside! I have a dog of my own, Reese, who I love taking on walks, runs, and little adventures, along with three cats who each have completely different personalities. Growing up around animals has taught me that every pet is different and deserves patience, attention, affection, and plenty of time to just be themselves. I love getting to know each animal’s personality and finding what makes them happiest—whether that’s an energetic walk, some playtime, exploring outside, or simply having someone there to give them attention. I’m also completely comfortable with puppies, high-energy dogs, and dogs who may still be working on their training or manners. I believe they deserve just as much patience and care while they’re learning! My goal is to give your pet a fun, positive experience while making sure they’re safe, cared for, and getting the attention they deserve. 🐾
“Grace did an awesome job taking care of Derps and our house. Derpie was limping when I left and I was worried about him, but Grace took good care of him and kept me updated as he got better throughout the week.”

I’m confident these skills will help me provide loving, attentive care to your furry family members! 🐾💕 I’m currently 18 and just moved to Lacrosse for college. I have class about 4 hours a day and can be with your dog for the rest of the day if needed! I prioritize both comfort and safety with my dog sitting. Frequently asked questions about Rover
As of August 2026, there are 127 sitters on Rover offering House Sitting across Middle Ridge. Enter your ZIP code to see which available sitters are closest to your home.
Beyond belly rubs and feeding schedules, a house sitter’s presence may provide an additional layer of security for your home. However, you will need to arrange overnight stays and other household tasks with your sitter when reaching out to them. Not all sitters offer the same services. Common household tasks you can negotiate include:
- Mail & deliveries: Collecting letters and packages so they don't pile up.
- Plant care: Keeping your indoor or outdoor garden hydrated.
- Trash & recycling: Taking trash cans to the curb on scheduled pickup days.
- Home security: Sitters can stay overnight to keep your home occupied.
The best way to align on expectations is during your free Meet & Greet. Use this time to provide a "home cheat sheet" that includes your preferred Middle Ridge walking routes, the location of your favorite pet store, and any specific quirks about your home’s security or appliances.
It’s helpful to think of house sitting as a "home base" service. Most sitters in Middle Ridge maintain their normal daily routines, like running errands or heading to the office, meaning your pet should be comfortable being alone for a few hours at a time. If your pet needs a little extra company, here is how to find the perfect match:
- Look for "WFH" sitters: Many sitters mention "Work from Home" on their profile to indicate they’ll be present for the majority of the day.
- Update your pet’s profile: Write down how long your pet can comfortably be left alone. This helps sitters quickly determine if their schedule aligns with your needs.
- Communicate 24/7 needs: Standard house sitting usually doesn't include constant supervision. If your pet requires round-the-clock care, be sure to discuss this upfront.
Tip: Use the Meet & Greet to confirm a sitter's typical "away" windows. Transparency ensures your pet stays happy and your sitter can plan their day effectively!
Key handling is entirely up to you and your sitter to agree on during the Meet & Greet or in the Rover app. Most pet parents in Middle Ridge choose to hand over a spare key or digital fob in person, while others arrange a lockbox or unique access code. Don't forget to discuss key returns as well!
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your pet to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your pet is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience administering medication or managing dietary requirements. You can also find pet sitters who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and request a Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
