I’m taking care of my own dog everyday, but he doesn’t walk much anymore. I enjoy taking daily walks and would love to have your pup as a walking buddy! I am a student as well, so care/walking times must be in between my class schedule.

Safety, trust & environment
I ensure their safety as my #1 priority, making sure to always think of what is best for them. I am also very focused on making sure the pup has enough stimulation whether it be physically with walking or emotionally with training or treat puzzles.
Information Araya R. would like to know about your pet
What makes your dog unique? I’m always open to any tips or tricks to help make your pup the happiest it can be! I also appreciate knowing general temperament and if they have anything that triggers any behaviors for them. Allergies are another thing that is good to know, as I may have treats with me and do not want to have any allergic reactions happening.
A typical day
I adore walking around campus because of the social aspect for the animals if they are comfortable with it. There are lots of spots with shade as well as many different spots to sniff. I also enjoy taking walks around downtown and glen park to allow the dog different environments and promote sensory stimulation. Playing fetch or practicing small tricks is also something that can be fun to switch up the routine.

Pet care experience
I’ve been around dogs my entire life! All sizes, ages, and care levels. We had a rescue while I was growing up so I’ve delt with anything from dumped hunting dogs to aggressive or old dogs that people felt they couldn’t care for. I’ve worked at two different dog boarding kennels and have volunteered at multiple shelters. No dogs scare me off whether it be size or behavior. I have my own pup with me at college and am using this to make a little extra money on the side of university and my other job to support my pup as he is getting old :) My number one job right now is schoolwork. I do prioritize this over my jobs. However, dogs are my stress relief, so I do very much enjoy spending time with them! I am willing to work around my schedule for what works best for you and your pup (or other animal) !
