About: Every since I got my first cat my life has never been the same. Now I always love to take care of all my pets for my friends and family house sitting and long walks. I'm a college student, so over the summer I have copious amounts of free time that allows me to flexibly take care of pets throughout the day. About: I have taken care of dogs (during the day and overnight stays) ranging from 6 months to over two years. In addition to my pet sitting experiences, I have volunteered at two humane societies and specialized with the dogs. Before interacting with the dogs at the humane societies, I completed 22.5 hours of formal training, background security checks, and the Fear Free Shelter Program Core Modules. My responsibilities as a volunteer were canine enrichment activities (including making toys and interactions with dogs), recording behavioral observations, and canine handling onsite and offsite. About: I have loved animals all my life, and my experience has ranged from caring for my own pets, to short-term and long-term fostering for friends and military families. I have a about 1.3 acres of land with a dedicated (vinyl) fenced in area for dogs so I have plenty of room for outdoor playtime. About: I remember having dogs from my first conscious memories, his name was Kenan and he was the nicest Labrador you could ever have. Since then I’ve had. chihuahuas, cocker spaniels, hamsters, hermit crabs, cats, guinea pigs, chickens, you name it! I have experience in senior care administering meds from taking care of my senior chihuahua so if you have an elder doggo that needs a bit of extra attention, I’m your sitter! If your animals love pets, look no further. I can’t wait to meet your furry friends :) Pet care fits into my routine pretty easily. I am on break from my seasonal job that I have in the Outer Banks currently so my schedule is super flexible for your pet care needs! I will respect your home as if it were my own when caring for pets on site as it is their sanctuary and yours. In my own home, I have a senior chihuahua who stays in the kitchen usually, and my lovely cat who wanders the house freely. We do have a fenced in backyard as well.
