While we were out of town, Laura kept us apprised of what she was doing for Molly. Laura went above and beyond in cleaning Molly’s litter box area, clearing the entire floor of the bathroom of tracked-around bits of litter (Molly is a very messy cat). About: I had a Weimaraner (10 years), and I currently have a chocolate lab and rescue cat (4+ years) at home. I have taken on many dog/cat-sitting opportunities outside of my household, and I am an energetic college student with wide flexibility throughout the summer. I have experience walking, feeding, bathing (No nail-clipping) , and even teaching my dogs some tricks. I will be working an internship remotely, however, I will be home most of the time depending on my schedule. Since I am a college student, my parents will also be home so in the scenario that I am working, your pet won’t be alone. My house has a fenced yard and is a dog-loving household. We do not put our dog(s) in crates, and welcome them to hop on the couches and sometimes beds. If you typically put your pets in crates at night/etc and want to bring a crate then that is 100% ok. I also currently only have a cat who is good with dogs.

About: I’ve been taking care of animals since I was a kid, for both family and friends in the states and in Thailand! Also if you need someone to watch your elephant in the one! I have a pretty open schedule but from now till the 6th of may, I’m unavailable on Wednesday from 7am-5pm. I can normally do walks that day after 5! :) I don’t have pets at home, but I practically live at my friends house and take care of her pets, she has 3 big dogs and 2 cats and 1 fish. Making sure they’re fed everyday, and take them out hours at a time and spend quality time with all of them so no one is left out! Making sure hygiene is up to date if needed.

About: I have had dogs from puppies to seniors and they have all have been a part of my family. I have experience training puppies and even teaching old dogs new tricks. I have a wonderful home full of dog love. My family and I have boarded friends and neighbors dogs and they rely on feeding, bathing, walking and provide plenty of love and attention. I currently have a wonderful English Lab, so this requires me to feed, walk and play with him throughout the day. I welcome some friends to join us in this daily routine. I have a decent sized home with plenty of room. Dogs can roam freely in a safe environment and will enjoy nice walks in my small community. Water is always available from a gravity water bowl, treats available for training/tricks or just cause. Depending on how your dog sleeps at night, kennel is available or they can jump in bed with us!

About: "Whoever said diamonds are a girl's best friend...never owned a dog" I live in a townhouse in Williamsburg with husband, our 1 year old daughter and our puppy, Korben. Dog sitting is a full family experience in our home, both our daughter and puppy love it when we have house guests. In fact our daughter’s first word was “doggie”, so it’s very important that dogs that come into our home do well with children as much as they do well with other dogs. While we don’t have a fenced in yard we make up for it with a walking path in the neighborhood and many other walking trails close by, we generally go on two walks a day, weather permitting. I've been sitting for my friends and family for as long as I can remember. So if your looking for a place where your dog will be well cared for and have a lot of fun in the process, look no further. Please don't hesitate to e-mail me with further questions, I want you to feel comfortable when you leave your dog with me while you are out of town. I work mostly from home so your pup will have the hands on attention they deserve! We offer ample love and attention through walks and belly rubs. There are occasions I will need to leave the house for work, but I’m usually not gone more than an hour or so. In those instances we’ll recreate what you do with your pup when leave your home. I really try to mimic your routine at home as best as possible. I know that coming to a new home can be stressful for the pup so I try to ease that transition by sticking to your routine as best I can.

About: I have taken care of dogs (during the day and overnight stays) ranging from 6 months to over two years. In addition to my pet sitting experiences, I have volunteered at two humane societies and specialized with the dogs. Before interacting with the dogs at the humane societies, I completed 22.5 hours of formal training, background security checks, and the Fear Free Shelter Program Core Modules. My responsibilities as a volunteer were canine enrichment activities (including making toys and interactions with dogs), recording behavioral observations, and canine handling onsite and offsite. I also enjoy running, so if your dog is up for that, they are more than welcome to join! About: My beloved Summer (now deceased) was an absolute monster when she was a puppy, so I can handle it all. When she was a senior, I had no problem picking her up (60 lbs) for car rides and for bedtime (she slept with me), and took care of her when her stitches popped. It takes a lot to faze me. In high school and college, I was first aid certified and still keep a first aid kit on me at all times, so should something happen, I can get your sweet dog wrapped up if need be. My favorite activity for getting dogs' energy out is taking them to a fenced in soccer field and kicking a ball for them to run after. I’m easily Google-able and have worked for many public officials who can vouch for me. Each morning, I walk Charlotte before hitting the gym and again in the evening. I’m currently in-between jobs, so I have full availability for the next few weeks. After that, I will likely be working remotely and will be flexible. It varies by the needs of the pet and his/her family. Walks, playing in the yard, etc. are common. If your pet has a certain routine, I’m pleased to accommodate.

I’m comfortable setting boundaries in a gentle but consistent way, depending on the needs of each pet. My home is also very pet-safe, especially because my current cat is extremely curious and determined to investigate everything. I’ve adapted my space to keep hazards out of reach and ensure it’s a safe, enriched environment where pets can explore without getting into trouble. About: I have taken care of my family's large dogs all my life and volunteered at a local animal shelter for several years, walking, brushing and exercising dogs! Everyday i received a picture of Charlie on his daily activities. Right before leaving, Lyra and Scott told me to enjoy my vacation and not to worry which was very comforting.
