About: I love animals and I have always had a variety of pets (both typical and unique) as beloved members of my family or cherished beings I’ve gotten the opportunity to spend time with. Some of the animals I’ve lived with or cared for include: dogs, cats, fish (salt and fresh), birds, hedgehogs, hamsters, reptiles, rabbits, pigs, and many more! I currently live in Petworth with my partner and our 4 beautiful rescue dogs (Havanese-4 y/o, Pomeranian-15 y/o, Husky-10 y/o, and Pittie-6 y/o). Over the years, my diverse and pawfict pack has taught me more and more about pet care. Especially my senior Pomeranian–whom I’ve had the privilege to love since he was a rambunctious puppy–now into his baby grandpa-hood, and hopefully into his twilight years. I look forward to walking dogs and meeting/sitting various pets in our neighborhood. Thank you for considering me to care for your special family member! My schedule can be somewhat flexible - if I know in advance I can change the days/hours I work. I work in my office 8 hours a day, four days a week. My in-office days are (typically) Monday - Thursday, 10 am to 7 pm (because of commute time), so on these days I can walk or visit your pet before or after work. With prearrangement, your pet may even be able to accompany me in office (my 15 y/o Pomeranian comes with me to work). On my work-from-home days, I’m available to sit and work from your home or take a lunch break to walk or drop-in on your pet. On weekends my availability is variable, but I try my best to keep my Rover calendar up to date. My partner and I live in Hyattsville with our 4 dogs (Havanese-Maltese, Pomeranian, Husky mix, and Terrier mix). We have a backyard and 2 separate living spaces in our home, giving us room for extra pups. Our home has one-step entry in the back, making it great for elderly dogs or dogs with joint problems.

About: I have over 20 years of combined experience caring for both cats and dogs of many different ages, with some specific skills around training reinforcement for dogs. Growing up, I cared for my own cat as well as cats and dogs in the neighborhood. As an adult, I have cared for both cats and dogs and done extended house-sits for clients and friends with cats. I have my own dog, named Billie, who is an 8-year-old german shepherd/lab mix. I love animals of all kinds, and love to get to know animals and help them feel safe, cared for, and joyful/playful. I am an MSW graduate student and working part-time, and have a good deal of flexibility in my schedule. I have availability throughout the day for drop-in visits and walks, and morning/ weekend/ nighttime availability as well. My home has a fenced-in yard and is very safe and comfortable for dogs. About: It has been a while, but I am back to pet sitting. I used to board and pet sit on Rover for years and left for a while for other jobs, but hoping to start it up again. Ever since I was young I have had pets. From dogs, to cats, to lizards, I have had them all. I am comfortable with dogs of all sizes and ages. I have dealt with dogs and cats with anxiety, medical issues, as well as puppies and those that have issues that come with age. I also regularly volunteer at the local animal shelter and have had trainings there on how to deal with dogs from all walks of life. I am happy to play with animals, provide general care, help them get some exercise, or to just hang out with them to provide company. Animals have always brought me joy and I would love the opportunity to hang out with your pets! I work partially from home and can be flexible on those days (Friday through Tuesday), but I am expecting to be furloughed soon which which free up my time more every day of the week. If boarding, I have a fenced in yard and live in a residential area. There several small parks around that I could walk your dog in as well. I do have a dog at home that is friendly with other dogs, but can also easily separate her from other boarded animals as well if that is preferred.

About: I have cared for dogs of all sizes for about 5 years now. Walking, feeding, playing, and even cuddling are some of my favorite things to do to satisfy the dogs needs as well as the everyday physical requirement. I love being in the presence of animals, so gaining the opportunity to care for them personally would be a delight. I am currently engaged in a part-time law internship so I have an ample amount of time to spread accordingly throughout the week. From early morning hours, to mid-day or even evenings on the weekends or weekdays, I am available. My approach to caring for the pets within the clients home is firstly, abiding by the rules of the home and expectations of the pet. For example, if the dog is not allowed on the couch, I would not want to disrupt that practice during my visit. Secondly, I would provide my undivided attention to the dog, ensuring all of the necessary requirements are met.
