“Dmitra was wonderful with our cat, Lily! Very easy to communicate with and provided lots of cuddles while we were away. We hope to use her services on future trips.”

“Ashley was great! She made time for a meet and greet prior to the visits. My pets warmed up to her and she was very patient with my boy cat who takes a little bit of time to adjust to new people. Very thankful and couldn't recommend her enough.”

“Can’t speak highly enough of Elizabeth. She went above and beyond to give my cats the best care - they are very shy and suspicious of people, so they hide from everyone else who has come to care for them. Elizabeth took the time to sit with them and build trust so much so that by day 2 the cats were coming up to get pets and play with her. She clearly has that animal lover’s intuition and loved on my cats like they were her own.”

“David was fantastic with our three cats! He was even great with our grumpy cat! One of our cats wasn’t feeling well and David made sure to keep a close eye on him. Thank you so much for everything, David!”

“Mia was amazing with my cats! While we were away, she visited twice a day to check on them, always sending pictures and updates to keep me in the loop. She’s very kind, attentive, and communicative. I felt at ease knowing my cats were in good hands!”

“Sarah did an amazing job with our anxious pup who is not used to new faces! Loved seeing pics of her while we were away. We really appreciated her flexibility to meet and check in on her.”

“Erika was great with my very shy cat. She was extremely patient and willing to try a number of different strategies to get my cat out of hiding. I really appreciated that she was open to suggestions from me, and eventually, a video chat with my cat during her visit did the trick. Now they are best buddies! She follows instructions well and is a responsible pet sitter.”

“Tony is reliable, follows all directions and provides excellent care. My cats love him. He also sends thorough notes so we know exactly what is going on. I would highly recommend him for drop in cat care.”

“This was our first time using Rover and we were so lucky to connect with our neighbor Ann! Ann is a warm and direct communicator and was wonderful to work with. She is flexible, prompt, responsive, kept us informed, and was generous with extra gestures to look out for our home and cats while we were away for a week. We had never worked with a pet sitter we didn't already know personally, and Ann really put us at ease. Our cats were relaxed and well cared for when we got home. We're thankful to have met Ann and look forward to working with her in the future :) Thank you Ann!”

“Ananda took wonderful care of our sweet but finicky cat ahead of the holidays! She went above beyond to read care instructions beforehand, sent regular, detailed updates with pictures that put us at ease, and even took the time to feed the wild birds in our yard. Truly an animal person!”

“Hannah did an absolutely spectacular job. We have three cats who crave attention, and Hannah gave them plenty! She went above and beyond during her drop in visits. We received plenty of pictures while we were gone. Definitely going to be using Hannah as our sitter again!”

About: Policy please read: owners must be at the home when I arrive for overnight to prevent confusion and to communicate any last-minute details. No meetup for new clients = no booking. Great with cats, environmental upkeep and medications. Great with dogs, walking and medications. Especially gentle with senior pets, Great with kittens and puppies. Great with meds and teaching some techniques, my family calls me "the pet whisperer." I have emphysema so I have limits, but I'm supposed to be exercising to increase my tolerance so I will still walk your dog, yes. I'm a freelance artist and delivery driver, so I still work during the day. I may leave for a few hours or be on my laptop to get my work done. It's all on my own time at will, so there's no conflict. I ask that you not book more than 3 days without advanced notice and awareness that I will need to leave to do laundry, eat, work and feed my cat, I am a human being. I don't do drop-ins outside of the Squirrel Hill area, if you schedule for overnight and ask for drop-in, I will turn down the gig. I do overnight across the Pittsburgh area within a 30 minute drive. I think that's reasonable, driving an hour round-trip 3x a day to someone's house to let their dog out isn't worth the gas money. I'm not in a place where I can board furry creatures, unless it is a small reptile with secure nesting box, the reptile room is secure and quiet. I'm very calm and easy to talk to, quiet. I'm always discreet, will never tell anyone you're not home.

Alyssa M.
“My 3 cats worship Alyssa and follow her around. I always had to take them to the vet to get their nails trimmed but somehow they will always allow her to clip their nails and even give them baths which Ihave never done. She's the cat whisperer. She got my most timid and shy cat, Chino to sit and meow for treats. Now when she comes over to visit, they hover around her like she's their queen. I have never seen anything like it. She's sensitive to my fur babies' needs and they adore her!”

Andrea M.

“Andrea is always great, she has watched my cat Luna multiple times and I highly recommend her!”
