About: I have pet sit dogs and cats many times for my family. Pets have always been a part of my family, mostly dogs and also sometimes cats. Also at one point an aquarium of fish. Currently I do not have any pets of my own because they are not allowed in the rental lease. I also know of some of the natural area trails and parks in the nearby area that would be good to take dogs for a walk at. My current schedule for pet care can be fit to a wide range of times most days. Other current work activities are mainly involving the start of a small farm type business and volunteer work. I make sure that safety is always a priority and taken into account, one of the main areas of focus being to keep any doors monitored and closed so that a pet does not go outside by accident. Also keeping awareness of any food or other objects in a client's home that a pet could get to by accident.
About: In addition to petsitting for 10+ years, I have been a proud dog parent for more than 5 years. Due to unforeseen circumstances within a breakup, I no longer have dogs, and miss them desperately. I would love to care for your dogs as if they are my own! I work remotely and have a flexible schedule. I'm very active, and I'd happily take your pups on walks and hikes with me if they're into that kind of thing. Have a doggo that needs a little extra attention, no problem I don't mind hanging out for a few hours, so you can run errands doggo free, appointment that might be long, or just need to escape for a bit. I am flexible between the hours of 8:30am-5pm, if you are in Shelburne village I can be a bit more flexible until 8pm. Overnight stay can be arranged with at least 2+ weeks notice. We have 2 fabulous felines, Zen & Leia, that are our fur babes!! We start every morning with feeding & water changes. Toy & fun, scritches & snuggles, sometimes even a cat nap. We make our own cat food as well. I have cared for personal family pets, friends pets (dogs, cats, fish, smallies.). I am very professional and enjoy being around animals very much. We have 2 cats, Zen Vader and Princess Leia. We also have a ball python, Ms. Bea Arthur. Caring for animals brings me so much joy, and I love the thank yous of butt wiggles and a purring machine.
