About: My love for pets shines through in every moment I spend with them. My deep bond with animals reflects a lifetime of joy, companionship, and understanding. Whether it's the wag of a dog's tail, or the gentle purr of a cat, or a feisty jump of a puppy, or a nudge from a senior pal, I embrace the unique personality of each pet that I provide care. My care showcases my dedication and nurturing spirit, ensuring that every furry friend feels loved and cherished, just as I have experienced throughout my journey with them. I am currently a fulltime mom with two daughters, one in college and one high schooler. I'm looking to fill my days with some fun-loving care for pets. Availability is currently open seven days a week. Pets tend to feel more comfortable in their own surroundings. I offer in-home visits and walks. This is a great option for pets who prefer familiar scents, routines, and spaces. I maintain their usual feeding, walking, and play schedule, keep litter boxes or outdoor areas clean, and make sure they feel calm and cared for while you're away. I care for your pets as if they were my own—with patience, responsibility, and love. My goal is to give you peace of mind and give your pet a happy, safe experience. I provide structured care, positive reinforcement, and lots of affection. Whether your pet is active, shy, elderly, or has special needs, I tailor my approach to ensure they feel secure and well-loved. I typically like to have a consultation to meet the pet and owner and to ensure I can personally care for them and to understand each pets' individual needs. I do understand that in certain circumstances a consultation is not possible and I am willing to consider those jobs as well.

“Samantha did a wonderful job with our hound mix Beau recently! She is responsible and conscientious, and a natural with dogs. Highly recommend.”

“Mike did a great job while we were away. More than living up to our expectations, he made visits to our home twice a day right on schedule while keeping us up to speed in real time through video and pictures. Our dog is typically not too friendly with strangers under any circumstances, but Mike proved differently and our dog wound up showing genuine affinity with its caretaker. We highly recommend him and wouldn't hesitate to use him again in the future.”

About: I’ve grown up with all types of animals on my farm! I love running around with dogs and giving baths. At the age of 15 I worked at a dog boarding facility where I took care of over 10 dogs at a time. I have experience training puppies with treats, positive reinforcement, and of course, lots of love. My schedule is very flexible, leaving me with plenty of time to take your dogs on long walks. I am available Monday-Friday at any time. I live in an apartment with my husband and our son (golden retriever). We live very close to the beach and love to bring dogs there! We also live in a great neighborhood for long walks.

About: I have been taking care of various animals on my own since I was around 9 years old! I used to walk dogs around my neighborhood, and have experience taking care of them (feeding, giving medications, cleaning, etc). I have worked with dogs of all different ages, including ones with different health issues. I am great working with cats, and have two of my own! I frequently cat-sit and house-sit for many people. I also have experience taking care of other animals, such as hamsters, guinea pigs, and rabbits. I love working with and taking care of all different animals! I would love to work out whatever schedule works best for everyone involved! I would be available varying weekdays and weekends throughout the day to take care of your animals. Again, I am available to discuss certain days or schedules that would work best for individuals. I would not be able to bring any other dogs or cats to my own home, but I would be available to house sit or watch your animals in other environments! I have experience house sitting and cleaning up after the animals, as well as feeding and taking care of them. I would be able to follow walking and feeding schedules, and would love to take the dogs to parks or on longer walks if needed! I understand the different needs that each animals has, and would love to provide them with the care they deserve.

About: I have experience training and caring for dogs and cats. I Specialize in dogs with hearing issues/ deafness. Both of my dogs are graduates of multiple behavioral and obedience classes resulting in our therapy certifications. We visit a multitude of schools, hospitals and other wellness centers. All volunteer work done by my companions and myself is strictly a passion and non profit. I was inspired by a visitation to my grandfather by a golden retriever, when my grandfather was in the hospital for open heart surgery. Seeing my grandfathers reaction to a dog visitation while he was in the hospital was a monumental moment for me that further inspired my passion and drive to work with dogs. I currently work early mornings for a government agency as an officer which gives me a lot of available free time at off times of the day and week. Making me readily available to care for your pets . A fenced yard is a must. My dogs are trained and raised to be curious and outgoing, thus a fence is needed. Although my dogs don’t need a leash, I find it’s necessary to generally have a leash attached. I allow my dogs to be curious, and put there noses where many wouldn’t generally allow. It’s important to always cover your stove switches/ burners with dog safety devices!. But ultimately I strongly believe in allowing your dogs and pets to be curious and open to learning. Dogs and cats alike are much smarter then most realize, and I believe this is there first time living as well.. and deserve the best experiences life has to offer!

My experience ranges from owning my own dog, fostering a fear-aggressive rescue, working as a veterinary assistant/kennel attendant, working at an animal shelter and walking/boarding/babysitting many furry friends. I am also a KPA-CTP trainer. Check out my reviews from past clients! I am always happy to meet up before hand to introduce myself and my own pup to your friend before any services. During all of my services, I make sure enrichment, training, safety and, of course, fun, are key components. Reach out, I’d love to meet your four-legged family member :) I am currently on sabbatical from my job working at an animal shelter for the summer. I am available every day and have a very flexible schedule. I am experienced with dogs and cats of all temperaments. Stranger danger, reactivity, and other behavioral problems are something I’ve dealt with regularly. My top priority is always safety and making sure the animal experiences as little stress as possible.

About: I’ve had animals since about the age of 3! I’ve taken care of family and friends pets before starting to do it for others. I am a stay at home mom of 2 great kids. marissa h.
“Marissa is an animal lover…..all animals. Over the years I have often left her with my pets and my only worry is that they would want to stay in her care, She is patient and kind with pets. She goes out of her way to make them comfortable and safe. She takes the time to make special foods, and make special accommodations when needed. She loves her pets and just assumes that everyone close to her would feel the same - thus the many photos we get. (We do) She takes extra care and forethought when she has to leave her pets with someone. She knows what is needed and looks for someone with a little “extra” in the way of care, She just enjoys her animals and I don’t think I have ever heard her complain about them, as amazing as that is. I did not know she was looking for this type of job, but she would be perfect for it. Cindy Paterno”
