“Elena watching our high energy one year golden retriever and cat with separation anxiety for 14 days while we were out of the country. We came home to a clean home and happy, healthy pets, which is everything we could have hoped for. Elena was prompt with communication and profession. We had a great experience and will definitely hire Elena again in the future.”

“Elma was fantastic! She was very open and attentive to all of our instructions and concerns. We felt very confident and safe having her look after our house and animals. She kept the house clean and sent photos updates regularly. It felt like we were always up to date on how our little ones were doing. They seemed to really enjoy her company! Highly recommend!”

About: I've been watching my friends' and neighbors' pets on and off for the most of my adult life, and it's something I truly enjoy. I'm also a mom to two orange boys - Tumbleweed and Scrumbles- who bring me a lot of joy. I currently work full-time as an Archives and Library professional, and I'm looking to supplement my income and pay off student loans by offering pet care through Rover. As a Rover client who’s had wonderful experiences, I’m excited to now provide the same care and love to your fur babies! I work full-time Monday through Friday from 8 AM to 4 PM. I'm fully available on weekday evenings after 4 PM, as well as all day Saturday, Sunday, and on federal holidays. I'm also flexible with early morning check-ins -- feel free to send me a message and we can work something out! I understand that cats thrive best in the comfort of their own home, so I'm happy to provide attentive care right where they feel safest. I follow your cat's usual routine for feeding, play and litter box maintenance to keep them happy and stress-free. I also keep your home secure and clean, and I'm happy to provide updates and photos of your fur babies.

About: Ive taken care of dogs since I was a young boy. I love dogs of all species and love to play and learn about dogs when I can. I currently have a blue heeler so high energy dogs are no problem. I would love to use my free time to do something productive and help people make sure their animals are cared for and give them the extra attention that I can. I live in an apartment, but I love taking my dog to the park to play to let out his energy. We also love to play in the house aswell.

About: Reliable communication and genuine care. I tailor each drop-in to your pet’s needs and always provide photo updates. I treat each pet as if they were my own, providing gentle attention, lots of playtime, and comfort while you’re away. My goal is to make every pet feel safe, happy, and truly cared for. Pet care is a rewarding part of my daily routine. My flexible work schedule lets me reliably fit in drop-in visits and quality time with every pet I care for. When caring for pets in my clients’ homes, I focus on making them feel as comfortable as possible in their familiar environment. I provide fresh food and water, playtime, gentle attention, and clean up any messes. I always follow your specific instructions and send regular updates to keep you informed.

About: I've been surrounded by pets my whole life. I grew up with many cats (currently have 5) and a super loving golden retriever. Ever since I was 12, my neighbors and family friends have trusted me to watch their pets. Now that I'm away from home, I love any opportunity to spend time with animals. I can assure you your pets will be well taken care of and in loving hands with me!! I'm currently self-employed, so I'll have plenty of time to play with your pets! I can house-sit or stop in for as long as you need any days/times of the week! I have watched many pets over the years. If you have a specific routine with your pet, I will easily be able to adapt to it so that your pet can stay in routine!

About: I’ve taken care of dogs for the past 7 years as well as fostering when I can. Your dogs will be treated like my own! Both neighbors & family members have offered me the chance to pet sit before anyone else because they knew their dogs were not only taken care of, but loved. There have been occasions when I could not pet sit & they moved around their vacation days just to have me over. They know my experience with dogs goes beyond my own & extends out to strays & for that reason, they trust in my ability to care & love for their animal friends. I’m very willing to bathe, give special care, run errands if necessary for the pet & tend to special instructions left to ensure the pets safety & well being. I take care of my three dogs on a daily basis from morning to night from feeding, timed medications, walks, backyard time & cuddles to their hearts content! It’s a must to understand all the rules & boundaries with pets & their owners. One of my own dogs has medications that cannot be missed & I have also watched after other dogs who have special dietary restrictions & have medications that need to be taken on time. In my experience, special care comes with frequent bathroom breaks, more love & attention, & a watchful eye. These are some of the things I’ve taken on while watching dogs/pets.

“Lindsey was incredible with our fur babies! She was very attentive to their needs including caring for one of our pups that was in heat. She was very thorough in learning their schedules and how to best care for them. She sent great updates and pictures. Will definitely be booking Lindsay again! 😁”

About: I have a decade of experience with puppies, seniors and even hyper dog breeds. I am typically loved by pets, especially dogs. I take care of all pets as if they’re my own. my availability is completely free as of now. I’m currently job searching, and doing this part time on the side. My availability likely won’t change much even if my employment process progresses any further. I care for all pets as if they’re are my own. I love animals and am universally loved by dogs, so they typically maintain obedience towards me.

About: Hello! Don't let my profile location deter you from reaching out, I have a very wide service area. I am available to care for all of your pets while you're away! Please contact me for a quote if you have a pet you'd like me to care for other than a dog or cat (submit it as a dog/cat request) ☺️ New to Rover? I have a discount code for you if you book your first service with me! I am available for night and evening drop-ins to feed and play with your pets. Do you work nights and hate leaving your babies alone? Are you going to a fancy dinner and want to make sure your pets are okay when you're gone? I can come by and give you some peace of mind. I can also care for other pets, including lizards, fish, hamsters, rabbits, etc. I am a huge animal lover. I adopted a senior dog years ago and he was the best dog ever, up until his very last day in December, 2023. Our household has water snails, fish, three cats, a dog, and a pig! I have experience with rabbits and hamsters and other small pets, and I have experience with special needs animals. My longest boarding to date was 5 months for a senior cat with Cerebellar hypoplasia. My schedule recently changed, so I am available on most days for drop-ins and walks. I also offer boarding, house sitting, and daycare. We are a very animal friendly household. I have a fenced yard and a kiddie pool so your doggos can play and keep cool! My piggy will be there to keep your baby company and I have a 14 year old kid who loves to snuggle and play with all your pets! Cats will enjoy their own space so they can feel comfortable ☺️ !!!Important Notes!!!: I love watching and caring for your snuggle bug(s)! However, I have to sleep too. If you can't pick up your pet before 7pm, one additional day of boarding or doggy daycare will be added to your booking. An additional fee will be added for dogs over 40 pounds. Dogs under 1 year and/or "bully breeds" will be accepted on a case-by-case basis. By booking with me, you acknowledge that if your puppo damages property, you are responsible for any cost of repairs or replacement. When damage occurs, it is usually caused by pets that do not crate or have high anxiety when left alone for even short periods. My policy on dog breeds and sizes is in place because of two separate incidents. First, I lost a beloved pet to a boarded Rover doggo on Christmas morning, 2020. Having to put my little pig Minnie in the freezer after being attacked on Christmas morning was a horribly traumatic experience. In June 2023 I was attacked by a 110lb Rover dog at a meet and greet and had to go to the hospital. If the owner had not been present, I would have been killed. These are incidents that I will not risk repeating. Thank you so much for understanding!

“Tony was excellent. We were out of town for 11 days, he sent us updates and photos. He is an amazing communicator. Our flight canceled coming home and I had my sister go pick up the dogs, she said that the dogs were so calm and happy. He also left my house spotless. I couldn't be more happy with Tony's services. We will be going out of town a few more times this year, Tony will be our FIRST choice, nd hopefully only choice. We couldn't be more happy with the respect and love he gave to our home and our dogs. Thanks Again Tony.”

I work full time but I am available from Friday 5pm to Monday night. My dog is crate trained and she’s a tiny little lady so she won’t be a problem. I wouldn’t leave either my dog nor yours alone until I have verified they can play amicably. I live in a nice area where dog walking is common and there’s plenty of grass for long walks if needed

“Phenomenal job. She cleaned up the apartment while we were gone, watched the dogs and paid a significant amount of attention to them, even hung out with our cats. She’s very respectful and I don’t think I could go to anybody else in the future now. She did everything in a timely manner and followed the care instructions I had sent her to a T. Highly recommend.”

“This was our 2nd time using Heather and we could not be happier. She takes extremely good care of our girls and the house. Both girls respond well to her and one of ours is very picky with people and gets easily stressed when I leave to the point of not eating or going to the bathroom but she warms up very quickly to Heather which says a lot about her! Thank you again!”

This means removing any hazards, providing a cozy and comfortable space, and making sure they have access to fresh water and their preferred food. Building a bond with each pet is essential for me. I engage in playful activities that suit their personality and energy level, always focusing on positive reinforcement. This approach not only fosters trust but also helps in understanding their unique behaviors and needs. When it comes to training, I strictly adhere to force-free methods. This not only ensures the pet's physical well-being but also supports their mental and emotional health. By using positive reinforcement, I help pets feel confident and comfortable in my care. This approach is gentle, effective, and strengthens our bond, making their time with me a happy and stress-free experience.

Lendl D.
“I have been using Lendl on and off for years to watch my dogs! I greatly appreciate his genuine love and care for them. We met years ago when he was volunteering at an animal shelter and the way he handled and cared for even the most tough cases there I knew he would be the prefect person to watch my babies! I can't rave about him enough. He is great at even helping set up routines and helped when one of my dogs was being stubborn with commands. He also is very timely and considerate. Anyone would be lucky to use him!”

Sarah H.
“You won't find anyone in a million lightyear radius who is more caring and loving about animals than Sarah. The moment she met our cat, you could see how calm she became and the joy in her eyes! Sarah is timely and executes the daily tasks with precision. Highly recommend if you're looking to leave your pet with someone with absolute %100 peace of mind, I'm glad your search has ended here, can't wait for your pet to experience Sarah!”

Emily W.
“I have very high maintenance dogs. One is 17 years old and uses 6 medications twice a day. She is also on a restricted Rx diet and has to be encouraged to eat. Emily has the patience and expertise to get her to take the pills voluntarily and its not always easy. Sometimes it takes forever to get it done but I always have confidence when I leave that Emily will make sure Roxy's needs are met. Emily loves dogs and cats and spends time petting my animals and playing with them. My dogs love her. And I love the way she cares for them and I love that I can leave them with her and not worry one bit! I also have 3 cats that she is in charge of feeding and making sure the litter boxes are clean. She's dependable and if she has a question she will txt me to make sure she gets the instruction. She sends me updates on my pets and photos. Emily's the best!”

“My experience with Alexis has been in the training area, not pet sitting. She is a very passionate trainer, who always goes above and beyond. She takes her time with understanding my issues and understanding the dog in front of her. She will send me tons of resources to help me understand and keep up with the training she provides. I love that she uses play based, reinforcement training and she is creative in tailoring the cues to what works best for our household and family. She is absolutely obsessed with learning and furthering her knowledge so I feel really confident in leaving my dog with her. She is also aware enough to know when something is out of her abilities or capabilities and she will let me know that she isn’t the best fit for the issue at this time. Absolutely love her!”
