“Lee is an amazing dog sitter and walker -- over the course of almost 2 years we worked with Lee in NY as our primary sitter/walker. He was incredibly responsive via text, the app or otherwise. With walking he walked my Dane - Ryan 2-5 times a week and would flex to show up when I was often late at the office. Lee also stayed at my home with Ryan often - he was clean, respectful of the space an totally attentive to my pup. My roommate mentioned rarely noticing he had even been there. When Lee wasn't available he had friends on recommendation who were amazing and even went out of his way to hand off his set of keys to them. Lee became such a part of Ryan's life often he was more excited when Lee arrived than when I did! We've since moved to LA and will miss him greatly!”

About: I grew up with multiple chihuahuas in the house at all times. Caring for them and playing with them brought, and brings me so much joy! Additional facts about me include that I spent time studying animal science as a junior zookeeper, caring for a diverse amount of animals, including guinea pigs, rabbits, skinks, and snakes. I have developed enrichment for animals, so I’d be happy to teach your pup new tricks and come up with inventive games for them!!! I have had multiple senior dogs as well, and am able to accommodate any needs your pup might have. ♥️ I’m currently working part time at a yoga studio, so I’ll have plenty of time to walk or care for your pups. I’ve cared for my sweet senior shih-tzu Pixie for the past 14 years and miss her every day. My mornings are consistently free, which works well for walks and drop-in visits, and I have flexibility on Wednesdays, Fridays, and weekends for longer stays or housesitting. On days when I'm teaching in the afternoons and evenings, I'm still available in the mornings — and I keep my schedule intentionally manageable so I'm never stretched too thin across clients. This isn't something I'm squeezing in around a packed schedule — it's something I've made genuine room for. When I'm in your home for drop-in visits or housesitting, I treat it with the same care and attention I'd give my own. That means following your routines exactly as you've set them, keeping things tidy, and making sure your pets are comfortable and unstressed in their own environment. I take detailed notes at meet-and-greets so nothing gets missed while you're away. On walks, I keep dogs leashed and attentive to their individual energy and needs — a reactive dog gets a very different walk than a social butterfly, and I know the difference. I bring over thirty years of animal experience to reading body language and behavior, so I'm not caught off guard by much. My own home includes a ball python and two cats, so I'm well practiced in managing a multi-species household safely and calmly. I don't offer boarding, which means your dog's visit to my home would only ever be for a meet-and-greet in a low-key, relaxed setting. In any situation that feels off — health, behavior, anything — I err on the side of contacting you immediately and getting to a vet if needed. You'll never be left guessing.

About: I've been around dogs and other pets my whole life! I have lots of personal experience with caring for dogs and professionally, I've done daily check-ins, overnight stays, and even once took care of my mom's 8 week old puppy for a few days while she went to work. One of the saddest parts of moving to NYC for me was moving away from all my beloved family pets, so I would love to opportunity to get to know your furry friends! My schedule fluctuates week to week but I'm usually available during the day. I have a main job and some other side gigs, but with enough notice I can make anything work in my schedule. I will follow whatever guidelines are set in place at my client's home. If I have any questions or concerns, I will run them by my client.
