I've been pet parent to dogs of all sizes, from Chihuahuas to Great Danes to my current Sheepadoodle — there's no dog size or personality that's too much or too little, IMHO. And my experience extends well beyond dogs — cats, snakes, farm animals 🐐, and more. I also happen to share my home with a ball python named Fettuccine Alfredo 🐍, who is a distinguished, low-drama fellow. As a plant parent, I will watch after yours indoor jungles, outdoor gardens, that one fiddle leaf fig you're nervous about. If you need someone who will actually look at your monstera and not just splash water in its general direction, that's me. (My avocado tree, grown from a pit, is thriving. I'm not taking questions.) When I'm in your home for drop-in visits or housesitting, I treat it with the same care and attention I'd give my own. I take detailed notes at meet-and-greets so nothing gets missed while you're away. On walks, I keep dogs leashed and attentive to their individual energy and needs — a reactive dog gets a very different walk than a social butterfly, and I know the difference. I bring over thirty years of animal experience to reading body language and behavior, so I'm not caught off guard by much. My own home includes a ball python and two cats, so I'm well practiced in managing a multi-species household safely and calmly. I don't offer boarding, which means your dog's visit to my home would only ever be for a meet-and-greet in a low-key, relaxed setting. In any situation that feels off — health, behavior, anything — I err on the side of contacting you immediately and getting to a vet if needed. You'll never be left guessing.

About: Currently have 2 family dogs so I am comfortable with animals and will provide meticulous care for your loved one and home until you return Currently transitioning out of my full-time, therefore I am fully available (other than already booked days or appointments). About: Most of my pet care experience is actually on my resume I've been working pet related jobs my whole life and so this is my first time actually doing it as a service on my own. I'm looking forward to letting my experience shine here on Rover to show exactly what sets me apart from the rest. I have been living in a zoo my whole life so essentially throwing in a few more pets really wouldn't be an issue to me. I have a set schedule for my pets to be fed routinely however if I am advised upon providing food to your pet at a specific time I'll just follow your rules because I'm pretty sure that your pet is already accustomed to the feeding schedule that you may have them on.

I just moved to New York and am missing my own dog (named Ramen Noodle) deeply, so it would be an honor to care for your pet. Additional facts about me include that I spent time studying animal science as a junior zookeeper, caring for a diverse amount of animals, including guinea pigs, rabbits, skinks, and snakes. I have developed enrichment for animals, so I’d be happy to teach your pup new tricks and come up with inventive games for them!!! About: Hello my name is Magaly but you can call me Maggie. I’m Literally enjoying my dream job, engaging with animals. Taking care of dogs (pitbull) (chihuahua) (German shepherds) (poodles) on and off for 10 years, recently have been taking care of cats for 2 1/2 years. I’m allergic to cats but I’m willing to take care of them if opportunity comes. Claritin has become my best fiend. I have a lot of patience and determination with animals but mostly love. I can show them tricks and really just spend quality time with them, Making them feel comfortable treating them as if they where my own.
