I tend to have a fairly flexible schedule and will always be willing to help out, even last minute, granted I have the time. I am a Bronx native, but I'm more than willing to travel to Manhattan and some parts of Brooklyn and Queens, if needed.

Generally, I need to know if your pet has any special needs- dietary, physical, mental or otherwise- and the information for your vet. For walks, I would like to know if your dog enjoys interacting with other people and animals, how well leash trained they are, if they know any commands, and any preferences they have regarding nearby locations we could visit on walks or any activities they really enjoy. And for drop-ins and house sitting, I'd like to know any relevant information to take care of your home and keep your pet safe. For example, if there are any places that are off limits to me or your pet, where you keep a cat carrier, or any plans you may have in case of an emergency.

Play time and exercise are always important! If possible, I'd go on walks to a nearby park or dog park- if they get along with other dogs, of course- where they can enjoy more open space, or take them on a mini adventure to explore the neighborhood. I'd love to know what their favorite toys are and help keep them entertained. I'm also always happy to just sit and enjoy the company of any lower energy furry friends.

While I have not had the pleasure of owning a dog myself, I have taken care of dogs for several years, have 8+ years of experience with my own cat, Calliope, and about 6 years of bunny sitting for my sister. In the past, I volunteered at the ASPCA, helping to feed and walk the dogs and socialize the kittens. I have some experience with senior animals and giving out medications. I would love to my spend time getting to know and take care of your furry little friends and family members. Thanks so much for considering me. I hope to hear from you soon!

Angelique was the most caring cat sitter we could have hired for Leo. She gave him his nedications and food on time and learned his language in no time. Next time we need a sitter, she’ll be the one we request.
Angelique was amazing with our two cats! She provided excellent updates with a lot of photos and she took time to make sure and spend time with each of them. She has a real connection to cats and you could tell right away at the meet and greet. We definitely recommend her and look forward to booking her again!
I would like to express my endless gratitude to Angelique for the incredible care and dedication shown to my beloved cat Sonny. She has been an absolute godsend. Because of an injury I was unable to feed and take care of my cat’s needs. Angelique not only met those needs, but far exceeded them as she showered him with genuine love and warmth that he looked forward to eagerly with every visit. In addition to her unmatched professionalism and obvious expertise and knowledge in caring for pets, Angelique is exceptionally kind and is an absolute joy to be around. She has a rare quality of bringing light and cheerfulness into the room the moment she arrives. I cannot imagine a better petsitter than Angelique and I highly recommend her to anyone looking for the very best care for their precious little ones.
