A typical day
There is a lovely park with a dog run and field a short walk from my home, as well as nature trails. We can explore or hike depending on energy level. If they're not crazy about spending a lot of time outside, they can get cozy at home and enjoy cuddles and toys. They'll always have a buddy with my dog around too :)

I've been pet sitting since I was a kid. I'd always watch pets of friends or family while they were out of town. I had a reputation as an animal lover, so everyone came to me. In my adulthood I took the next step and became a foster for multiple shelters. I fostered many dogs of all sizes/ages as well as cats, and even hamsters. I've had just about every kind of pet and thoroughly researched how to properly care for all of them. I currently have one rescue pup; a very anxious but lovable Australian cattle dog/shepherd mix. Having cared for all sorts, I am particularly understanding and patient with those who have "quirks". My goal is to be best friends with your pup.

Wow, I just realized it’s been a full year of Kristal coming 1-2 times weekly (most weeks) for a midday bathroom & play break for my two German Shepherd boys. This second review is long overdue. My boys love their time with Kristal! Kristal is the kind of Rover sitter you always hope to find - super responsive and communicative, flexible, accommodating, reliable, consistent, and a genuinely kind and good person who loves animals. Above that she has a beautiful friendship with my boys and makes sure her time with them is spent giving them the most fun, enriching and happy midday breaks. Her reports are always thorough, sweet/funny, and show how intentional she is when caring for the boys. Her pictures are awesome, she’s a very talented animal photographer and I now have a whole plethora of the cutest images of my fur babies. Such a gift! Having Kristal as part of our routine has been a blessing.
Very grateful for Kristal as she looked after my two cats for the Thanksgiving weekend! The pictures and visit summary she shared with me each day were very helpful. My cats are generally shy and keep to themselves when visitors are present, but they warmed up quickly to Kristal over the weekend. Thank you!
Kristal consistently does an amazing job taking care of my two cats. She is thorough and communicative and I love her details on the “report card”. Grateful to continue using her as a cat sitter.
