A typical day
I of course will make sure that our furry friends have food and water on schedule, and that their space is clean and safe. And I will make sure to give them some quality human time, including some pets and play if possible. If desired, I'm happy to send pictures as well so you can see how they're doing in real time. I will do everything I can to make sure your pets feel safe and comfortable!

I've had cats all my life. Right now, I have two (strictly indoor) cats in the city that I love to care for and spoil. One is outgoing and one is shy, so I am used to handling their different personalities with care daily. I also grew up with many cats and dogs, so I am very comfortable around all sorts of animals, including young, special needs, and senior pets. With decades of experience around pets, I take cat-care responsibilities very seriously. But I also love to make new animal friends and I will treat your pets as if they are my own. I'll ensure that they are safe and happy, and that they're having fun. And I'll keep you updated and share photos — I know firsthand how important it is to see how they're doing while you're away!

I am very lucky to have found Alex here on Rover! He is truly an outstanding feline caregiver who is kind, caring, and extremely conscientious. He has a natural ease about him and knows how to make any pet feel comfortable and cared for. I have two young Ragdolls who immediately took to him. My shy little girl is on oral medication, but he won her heart and made certain that she received her proper daily dosage without any problem - along with an ample amount of brushing, which she loves. My big boy, who is as fearless as can be, had a great time playing with Alex. (They both really adore him!) He made certain my cats received their proper food and that the water bowl was always refreshed. The litter box was clean and very well-maintained. Also, the detailed daily reports and photos were very helpful and put my mind at ease while I was out of town. Lastly, Alex is just a really nice, trustworthy person! As we all know, that is so very important. I highly recommend him to you and your feline friends!
Alex is an amazing pet caregiver! He has personally cared for my cat, Eloise, on a number of occasions. Eloise is a rather anxious kitty with urinary issues who requires a combination of medicine, special food, and extra attention to help her feel better. Every time Alex has taken care of Eloise, he has consistently made sure to administer her medicine daily, provide her with special pets when it's her meal time (helping her to feel less anxious), and made sure to spend enough time playing with her every day. I would wholeheartedly recommend him to anybody who is hoping to find someone who genuinely cares about not only the physical, but also the social and emotional well-being of their animals. Alex has told me he also has two cats at home, so it's no surprise to me that he's so well in tune with the needs of the animals for which he cares. Can't recommend him enough. Be prepared for lots of pictures! :)
