Ashley is incredibly kind, knowledgeable, and experienced with pets, and we felt completely at ease knowing they were in her care. She is also an excellent communicator. Every day, we received a detailed update along with lots of pictures, just as we had requested, which gave us so much peace of mind while we were away. She took wonderful care of all three of our pets, as well as our home and plants. We came home to happy, well-cared-for pets and a house that had been treated with great care. About: I grew up in a house with 6 dogs, and if that doesn’t make you a dog person I’m not sure what will! In my case, it definitely worked. Dogs are one of the greatest gifts in this life, and I know how precious they are to their owners. It’s my goal to give you peace of mind when you have to be away, and rest assured that your fur baby is getting the best care in my hands! I’ve worked with small, medium, large, and even extra large dogs, dogs with special dietary restrictions, dogs with medical needs, velcro dogs that need to be attached to your hip, or pups that just need a good scratch on the head. I’m happy to help with whatever needs they may have and work with you to make sure they are their happiest! I’m a part time barista who lives with my partner and our own lab/husky mix! We walk about 4 times a day, frequent a local dog park, and do some light training in between. Pet care for both my own dog and the pets in my care are my top priority, and I strive to keep them their happiest! I have a friendly dog of my own who would love to accompany walks, however I am happy to do one on one walks as well. I can accommodate any special care that your pet may need, including dietary restrictions, medication, or specific behaviors. During boarding, I have a crate in our home that can be used if that’s what your pup prefers, as well as a bed and couch that is pet friendly :)

About: I've had pets all my life, but within the last few years I've helped out with the pets of friends, family members, and roommates when they've traveled. This has included walking dogs of all sizes, taking them to the dog park for further activity, and the occasional house-sitting for a week or two at a time. I’m pretty adaptable and I’d be more than happy to work alongside you to make sure the needs of your pet are taken care of. while they’re in my care! I have relative flexibility and can be available for last minute drop ins if needed. I recently just finished getting my graduate degree while I apply for a full-time job. I’m free during the week during the days and have open availability on the weekends. If taking care of your dog, on walks I plan to leash them at all times as well as keeping a safe distance from any other animals we may come by.

About: My first ever job was taking care of the dogs and cats boarding at my local vet. I made $8/hour and loved every second of it because I got to hang with animals all day! I’ve cared for my sweet senior shih-tzu Pixie for the past 14 years and miss her every day. I have experience administering medication, bathing, cleaning up messes, and giving each animal the attention it deserves. I’m currently looking for a new full time position so I have total flexibility to care for your pets! I recently moved to Harlem with easy access to the 2/3 and 4/5 trains. I am a very respectful house guest and intend to leave all spaces as I found them (or cleaner!). I prefer clear communication about all expectations beforehand so we’re on the same page from start to finish :)
