Hello, I’m Mika! I’m a life long animal lover with over 20 years of experience caring for cats of all ages, personalities, and needs. I grew up with two beloved family cats who were my responsibility from their kitten days into old age. I also spent a year working at a cat rescue, where I handled everything from feeding and litter cleaning to grooming, socializing shy cats, creating adoption videos, and giving oral medications. I have fostered three cats, and cat-sat for friends and neighbors on many occasions. I’m comfortable giving oral medications (pills and liquid), following special diets, and caring for senior and special needs cats. My goal is to make your cat feel safe and comfortable while you are away, whether that means playtime and cuddles or respecting space. I understand feline behavior deeply and know how to earn the trust of even the most reserved cats. While cats are my specialty, I’m also happy to care for calm, well-trained dogs on a limited basis. This allows me to give each pet my full attention while staying focused on my expertise. I’m located in East Harlem but willing to travel within Manhattan and to other boroughs for long sits.
