About: As a lifelong pet lover, I understand that pets are family. I've cared for my own pets through all stages of life, from playful puppy days to their senior years, so I know how important patience, love, and attention are. I also have a warm, pet-loving home with two kids who adore animals, so your furry friend will always feel welcome and loved. About: ONLY SIT UP TO 25 lbs... Hello, I'm Cynthia, a true animal lover; I have owned many dogs & cats, they're my passion and bring me much joy. I will care for your babies like they're my own. I will provide a home away from home. I live in home in Chesterfield (23 Mile & Sugarbush/Seaden) with a beautiful fenced yard; only dogs up to 25 lbs. I often sit 1-4 dogs at a time; so your pet must be able to get along with other dogs. I will take your pets on daily walks and supervise them outside frequently to potty. I don’t use crates unless the owner requests; and the babies sleep with me! For dogs that might be a bit nervous or crabby away from home, I use lavender and chamomile oils to sooth their nerves. I am retired and have lived in the Macomb County area for 18 years. I have excellent personal and business references. My goal is to love and enjoy your animals and provide them with the best possible and safest environment. I love to take photos & will send lots of pics of your babies while you’re gone. Oh, and book early, I fill up quickly, and please note the cancellation policy. I look forward to hearing from you! Cynthia I'm retired and home quite a bit, outside of normal activities, such as shopping, occasional dining out, etc. The dogs are very happy in my home. I have a totally privacy fenced yard, the dogs love to run around, sniff all over the place, and my home has safety gates on front and side doors.

“Mikayla was very sweet with Lola! I could tell she was really knowledgeable about puppies and prepared. She was really nice and made things easy for me as well! I would highly recommend her!”

About: I have cared for senior dogs and a potty training puppy. I have walked and cared for dogs varying in sizes from a great dane to a miniature wiener dog. Additionally, I am experienced with high energy and low energy dogs and can adapt to their needs. I am currently working full-time with one day in-person a week. Therefore, would be able to spend ample time with pets and access to a fenced yard. Pets are family and I intend to care for your pet as good as I would take care of a child! I have loved animals all my life and love any opportunity to spend time with them!

“Stacy is great, Lena has been in her home 3 times already and each time she keeps us updated with pics and messages. She has attention to details and allows us to feel that our fur baby is taken care of while we are out. Lena and JJ (her pup) bonded which is also nice as they can play and burn energy together lol! I am very thankful for people like Stacy that take seriously the responsibility of taking care of our fur babies. Highly recommend her 🙌🏻”

About: ever since i was born we had at least one dog in my family home. mostly large breed dogs. my husband and i unexpectedly had to say goodbye to our 6 year old german shepherd. he was our absolute WORLD and we would love to spoil and take care of some dogs in the community before we are ready to home our next 4 legged best friend. i'm currently working part-time (usually 6:30-11am, 4x per week) and have a very flexible schedule around those morning hours, so i have plenty of time during the day and in the evening to play with pups. my weekend availability depends on any social events. we have a decent sized fenced in yard and no other animals or children in the house. our dog used to have free range in the house, on the furniture, and in the yard, so we would let your pup use our house as if it were their own as well! we also live right off of a paved bike path that leads to the beach, perfect for walks :)

“Sydney provided excellent care for my puppy, Kai, and sent me updates throughout his stay. She's personable, friendly, and very caring towards the dogs she dogsits. I highly recommend booking with her, and I look forward to booking with her again.”

About: I worked for a doggy daycare center for quite a while, where we excepted all breeds and sizes to come and play. I am also a very experienced pet owner and sitter. I have training in basic dog first aid, so you never have to worry about your pet being safe! For dog walking: any length of walk that your dog needs, I can provide! For drop in visits: as long as food, water, and any medications that are needed are provided, I can drop in to give your dog what he/she needs when you might be out and about. I have experience in giving medication to animals. For house sitting: I require an interview before doing any house sitting jobs. This allows me to know your home and make your pet feel comfortable having somebody they aren’t used to staying with them. I work 2 flexible jobs and I am committed to making time for your animals. If I feel I cannot provide your animal with the amount of time he/she needs, I will respectfully decline. I am more than happy to sit your animals in their own homes, but am not fit to have more animals in my own home right now.

“Tiara did an amazing job! Very nice and my pup seemed to have a great time. Made sure he was bathed and ate. She sent multiple updates throughout the day and answered any questions I had. I highly recommend her. I will be using her again!”

I'm looking to establish myself in the Michigan community, caring for animals. I have over 35 years of animal care experience and a business that allows me to work out of my place and create custom dog food and pet treats. I come with strong animal care references as a licensed, bonded professional animal care specialist. I have been an animal foster for the last 25 years, with the last 5 years specializing in pregnant bully breeds. Constant supervision and interaction is the best way to make sure the furbabies in my care is safe! I will love and protect them as I do my own.

Joda V.
“As Joda moves on to bigger and better adventures, I am compelled to write my thoughts on her and what she has done for my Pet Care Business. It is the least I can do for all the help she has given me through the years. While I begin my retirement, I am not stopping until I give the respect where it is due. I had heard of this wonderful woman named Joda Viveiros in my large group of Animal Rescue friends and I knew in the back of my mind she was what I needed to complete my circle of first-rate pet care providers for my business. I tracked her down, hoping she was looking for work, and I got lucky. As it turned out, if animals were involved, Joda wanted to be involved. Music to my ears!! To keep a long story short, (I could sit here for hours and not remember each client that benefited from Joda’s expertise), I believe Joda has an animal in her actual being, that is how well she reads them. She can read them mentally and physically, and could tell our clients exactly what their pets needed just by looking at the stool (and the urine, believe it or not!). Much of Joda’s work with me has not been for the faint of heart, but with animals, nothing phases her. I have watched her get one of our most unruly and untamed animals to lay next to her in a field as if they were one in the same spirit. Working alongside animals is Joda’s calling. That’s all there is to it. Joda is one of the main reasons Slem’s Pet Care was ranked in the top 10 of Missouri’s Best Pet Care Providers. Anyone who uses Joda to care for their pets has found a blessing. Donna Owner, Slem’s Pet Care”

“Amanda was so great about sending pictures of our dog while we were gone. This was the first time we had ever left a dog with someone other then family. The picture updates everyday took the worry away. We could see how happy he was and how much fun he was having with the other dogs. We knew he was being well taken care of. Amanda was fantastic we would defiantly board our dog with ...”

Jillian & Cameron K.
“Jillian cared for my 140lb Bull Mastiff/Cane Corso, Shoelace, for a week while I was out of town. A very anxious, very large, and very needy girl! I'd been apprehensive about leaving her with anyone in the past. She was incredibly reassuring and understanding during a meet-and-greet with my dog. She followed my feeding, play and walking instructions to a T. She kept me well-informed with how she was doing the entire time. I couldn't ask for a better sitter! I will ABSOLUTELY be utilizing her services in the future. Thanks again, Jillian!”
